As big as this set is, you wouldn't think you'd hit so many triples or quadruples out of all these hits out of 100 packs. has to be painful for ya Rev. This set is way to big for my wallet to complete...lol Thanks for the content Rev.

That's why I had no interest in this set reprint mania and whack pulls to master I saved my money for temporal forces
Hi, math major and Pokémon fan here; Paldean fates is by FAR one of the worst sets to try and complete, with the average number of boosters needed of 2588 (Paradox rift is slightly worse at 2713, but is easier to obtain, so comme ci comme ça). With your progress, 100 packs and only a single new card is slightly unlucky, but by no means out of the ordinary.
Those last two Special Illustration Rares would be expected to take about 900 more boosters to get them. Granted, there's a 50% chance you can get them in around 750 more, but because the upper end is so bad (the 95% likelihood is 2050 more packs) that's what drags the total up. The standard shinies are even worse, needing on average 1750 more to grab those last twenty-two shinies, and to be 95% certain needing 2900 more packs. Heck, even the single Foretress needed would take around 235 more packs to get that specific card.
So the real strategy if you want a full set is to get a good base, and then trade for the last couple dozen, because trying to pull them is not going to end well for your mental health or your wallet.
I pulled the Mew Chase out of a Shiney Charizard Paldean Fates Tin. My 3rd pack out of the 5 packs it comes with

The batching is exactly why I buy a few booster bundles of this set from multiple stores so I get a better mix of cards. Seems to be working cuz I've only doubled up on my shines only a couple times

Two hundred packs and I never even pulled a single SIR. So I stopped, and bought the singles I wanted, and have moved on. I don't know if I've even hated a set more than this one. The multiples of every "rare" card except for the ones I actually wanted was infuriating.
That sucks man. I’ve opened 5 tech sticker packs and pulled 2 of the bubble mew. My hands have been hotttt or the pull rates on those is crazy

I bought 2, 6 booster pack bundle from Walmart for 28 each and I pulled the charizard ex full illustration art I couldn’t believe at first.
I just love the screams. These are gold. These show victory. These are PERFECT

I’ve opened more packs of these than any other modern set. I recently got back into collecting(maybe 4-5 months ago). I’ve binge watched so many of your videos. I honestly think this is my favorite modern set so far that I’ve opened!

We have opend a few bundle boxes and every box had a SAR same with mini tin box. They seem guaranteed per box. Might just wanna open a bundle case and u will have it for sure.

I recently found a binder with complete base set 1 and 2 that my dad has had under his bed for years along with a bunch of older sets and I was looking for some advice on what I should do with all these old cards. I definitely want to sell them and they seem to be in really good condition.
I would look into grading them, then selling.
The Wigglytuff frequency is the only thing that's consistent in PF packs 😆

This set is insane, I’ve gotten so many shinies and the bubble mew got pulled on my 3rd pack but nothing amazing since. Will probably buy a pack every once and awhile until I hit the Zard or gardevoir

A few weeks ago i started collecting pokemon cards again and started paldean fates. i love the set, but so hard to complete when you can buy 1 bundle a month. But we will keep going!
My kids and I love this set. It’s a tradition to open a couple of packs every weekend to see what we pull. Nothing good yet hopefully we pull the Mew or Charizard soon.

I think I got lucky to get SIR Charizard and SIR Mew out of my 1st 23 packs of P Fates (a random S Great Tusk Tin [Mew] and 2 ETBs [Charizard]). You'll find Charizard eventually, though. Keep looking.
i pulled the zard in my first pack... lol.. wish i kept it.. i sold it only 2 hours after pulling it. looking to get the MEW alt. art. i keep getting doubles and triples now.. . it is a hard set to complete for sure.
I haven't completed the set by a long shot, but I bought a charizard tin to get the shiny promo card. Turns out the special illustration rare Charizard also was in that same box🤷🏻
Every time I think I have something nice at the end, it's just Heat Rotom staring into my soul with his damn oven mitts.
My friend pulled the charizard in less than 5 booster packs not the mew though
I'm convinced that some area got a batch of charizards and everywhere else got the same for me I've pulled the pidgeot and wigglytuff 4 times each now as well as a few of the same baby shinies

Completed the set 2 weeks ago with the Gardy EX. That was the hardest card for me to pull.

I prioritized other things, but this set looks genuinely awesome. The special illustration rare charizard has such a cool artwork. Hope you the best!
Loved the set, but the pull rates have not been the best for me lately, I opened a booster bundle and pulled ONLY two reg. shinies.

I’ve been buying a tons of singles from whatnot. Buying what you need for 1-3 dollars is cheaper than buying packs. Great way to finish sets I only need 15 baby shinies to master set

The matching is a little weird, I opened 2 booster bundles and doubled up in the veluza and noivern shiny once each

I can count myself super lucky opening less than 70 packs and having pulled both the Charizard and Penny SIR's that Rev is missing. If a big poketuber like him hasn't pulled it yet! 😂
