For sure, 10 would be insane overkill lol. If you can get even 3-4 catas using this build to land in the same spot, no meta squad is gonna sustain that without a good chunk of downs.

@@pellojello7612 dude there is years of YT staff weaver vids. the numbers on your MS are fair bit lower than my weaver gets, and this makes sense cause weaver has more dmg modifiers. catalyst always been greater utility lower damage than weaver, also 2x MS doesn't make up for the crappy sustained AOE damage if your MS don't land -- weaver has high damage dual skills to fall back on whereas i feel like catalist kinda sucks until your MS back up.
@@aurae69I've watched a lot of them, not seeing the same level of spike catalyst can put out, so I'd love a link to one if you got one. In longer fights weaver can match total damage, but not the spike. If the weaver vids are prior to february 2020, then yea they probably do hit harder than I am right now, meteor shower has experienced a 50% damage NERF since then. Then you have to consider that these vids are mostly in the celestial meta so there is a lot more toughness going around than previous power metas. If you look at the modifiers specific to each class, weaver gets +10% dmg from Swift Revenge and +5% from Elements of Rage and finally up to +240 power from Elemental Polyphony. Catalyst can get +10% dmg from Empowering Auras +15% dmg from Relentless Fire and +20% to ALL stats from Empowered Empowrement. So to compare class modifiers its weavers +15% dmg +240 power vs +25% dmg +20% all stats. And +20% to all stats at 2800 power is +560 power and since thats multiplicative, it goes much much higher with might. And then since you are getting a lot of precision from those +20% all stats, you can lower crit chance and pump power and ferocity even further than weaver can and still crit cap. And if you watch my buff bar closely, I am maxing every modifier every meteor shower. Mathematically weaver will have less average damage per meteor shower hit. Weavers modifiers are much easier to use, but catalyst has the higher ceiling. Again I'm completely open to seeing proof of the opposite but from what I've read and tested, I'm still team catalyst.
@@pellojello7612 you're wildly overstimating the cata modifiers. you're getting only +4% dmg from empowered auras cause your setup generates 2-3 auras, +7.5% dmg from a total 5 stacks of empowered empowerment, both of which often drop off halfway through your first MS if you closely watch your video. weaver's dmg modiers have a lot more uptime. relentless fire v glyph of storms is probably about equal. i don't have vids since nerfs but in practise i see consistently higher numbers on my weaver i think cata's biggest issue though is that it's a 1-trick pony, 2x MS and then your damage is crap until your CDs are back up. if you miss your MS burst, then you're a super squishy, low damage rally bot.
mass what build is this
could you share your build please
You think it’s possible to have a “bomb squad”? Like 10 catalyst on a 2nd squad and just bombs the area at the same time. Just like in Albion Online

@@pellojello7612 well yeah, ive never seen anyone runs that yet :/ i would love to see 10 catas bombin, you should make that happen :P

Zerk aways fun ❤ love the video
damage is kinda low TBH.... weaver is still king.
I would love to see a weaver vid that does comparable damage. Genuinely interested
If I'm not mistaken they had 33k dps.
