This season was AMAZING! Keke really fit into her role well and was way more exciting and involved as a judge than Megan. The shade, Juicy Couture, Makaveli, and the judges kept me locked in cuz the talent…. Lacking. It looks like something I would’ve performed at home

The issue is VOGUING is not a group performance, it’s a FREESTYLE where we have to feel the emotion. It’s easier for a lot of these people like Juicy or Revlon who had trained dancers to help choreograph their routine. But that’s what these fans like to do: chatter from outside the club cuz they don’t even know how to get in, let alone find the functions 🤣🤣

Honestly yeah, the show gets really repetitive... There's a reason you only see grand marches ocassionally at balls. Like the individual or tagteam categories and redemption battles are when I get excited for the cotnestants

I do love the shadiness and messiness of this season, it is great tv and I tune in every week, but I like Ballroom more. Aside from Juicy and maybe Revlon, the other houses are not delivering. With the other seasons there were always lackluster houses, but there was always a great spread of talented Houses as well, that made things interesting and unexpected, but most importantly COMPETETIVE. This is a great spectacle, but not a great competition. If Juicy or Revlon is Tisci'd, this season will be over, because there just isn't enough competition, and the performances won't do what is needed to be done.

The thing is they just were able to produce better group performances. In ballroom it’s mostly an individual competition. Juicy just knew how to do better group performances.
keke&leiomy are great judges. law is there for the drama. jameela needs the chop, but shes an executive producer&they need to make dominque a permanent judge
Jameela is a big part of why the show even exists. She did her homework, and has always worked to put under represented groups on TV. She's the definition of a true ally, and yeah she was a bit too nice on seasons 1&2 but she really stepped up this year
And the performances this season aside from a few houses that serve it every function, are very lack luster. It’s the third season of legendary and no shade, the bottom houses of season 1 and 2 could have easily snatched the trophies this season. I don’t know I think the judges are just expecting so much from the houses. It wasn’t until the 4th episode when JC got their 10s across the boards. It’s not shadiness when you’re battling it out for $100,000 and the houses aren’t delivering. Just my two cents.

One thing I always love in Ballroom is how real and cutthroat the judging goes, not like the hypocrisy present in other competitions in general, you either slay or you suck
(first off, mean no hate to any of these houses on S3, they are all wonderful and they put in so much work and I respect the hell out of all of them) that being said, I feel like they got so many iconic and amazing houses for S1 and somewhat for S2 that there weren’t a lot of historic or prominent houses left (except for labeija) for this season: over half of the houses in S3 were created after 2019 (which isn’t a bad thing) but seasoned houses bring that wow factor, look at houses like lanvin, balmain, miyake-mugler, tisci, etc that bring that extra umph to the show due to them being around for awhile. I hope on S4 there will be more historic and seasoned houses like mizrahi, Xtravaganza, aviance, pend’avis, etc. oh and btw, tisci was robbed blind. thats all☺️
I LIVE FOR THIS SEASON! Yes, i miss some good performances from other houses, not just juicys or revlons, but the level of drama is giving me everything i needed and so..
I love the Makaveli's however, their attitude and how they approach the critiques was disappointing cause it's a competition so you should be professional no matter what the judges may say.
Law’s permanence on the panel confuses me. People LOVE to sht all over Jameela, but Law and her both aren’t exactly known for their ballroom expertise. The difference between Jameela and Law is that Jameela at least tries to give fair criticism, where Law tends to go “did this bore me or not” and clearly shows favoritism.
So disappointed that HBO Max cancelled this show along with so many other great shows, but green lights shit like Velma. Like, what tf are they doing??

(first off, mean no hate to any of these houses on S3, they are all wonderful and they put in so much work and I respect the hell out of all of them)
that being said, I feel like they got so many iconic and amazing houses for S1 and somewhat for S2 that there weren’t a lot of historic or prominent houses left (except for labeija) for this season: over half of the houses in S3 were created after 2019 (which isn’t a bad thing)
but seasoned houses bring that wow factor, look at houses like lanvin, balmain, miyake-mugler, tisci, etc that bring that extra umph to the show due to them being around for awhile.
I hope on S4 there will be more historic and seasoned houses like mizrahi, Xtravaganza, aviance, pend’avis, etc.
oh and btw, tisci was robbed blind.

Law’s permanence on the panel confuses me. People LOVE to sht all over Jameela, but Law and her both aren’t exactly known for their ballroom expertise.
The difference between Jameela and Law is that Jameela at least tries to give fair criticism, where Law tends to go “did this bore me or not” and clearly shows favoritism.
