I was sexually and physically abused from the age of 3 till I was 13 my earliest childhood memory is one of pain self loathing and anger. This song was played with a clip of Rocket in Guardians of the Galaxy scene where he is in his cage as a baby and says his first word is “Hurts” And it breaks me cause I can relate only I had no Lyla to make it better or bearable. This is actually anyway one of the deepest, most expressive songs I've ever heard in my life bc it's just so hard (for me) to ignore that this song actually describes all the (non-)purpose of all human beings on this planet earth, yet given the fact that in it he says that actually everything's gone to waste so...
