@@robsimmons5401 Respect and I failed to mention that I think it's a 50/50 at the end of the day. Neither guy is a runaway favorite. However I do think Bud has the intangibles and better IQ. Spence didn't really get a stationary Ugas up outta there like that. The Dr stopped the fight cuz Ugas's eye was f*cked up but Ugas never touched the canvas in that fight! On the flip side I COULD see Bud stopping Ugas late cuz like Greg was saying, Bud gonna be slipping sneaky upper cuts to the body early, punching in between punches w some sht you didn't expect and by the time the championship rounds come around Ugas might be soft for something that gets him outta there. That uppercut Bud landed on Benivitez didn't land till the 12th round

Not to mention Spence had had better competition. But with all that being said I do have this fight 50/50 they are evenly matched no matter what no one says it’s gon be a good one if only we can actually get the fight to happen
What makes the fight so exciting for me is knowing that when Spence and Crawford gets hit with a good shot they answer with aggression. The first one that gets caught its going to bring the dog out in them and vice versa and thats when we going to truly see whos who

I understand why it gets overlooked, but a lot of people underestimate Errol’s ring IQ and ability to make adjustments. Bud makes more… overt changes, I’ll say, but Errol’s are more subtle.
At the end of the day, this is the definition of a 50/50 fight. I can’t wait to see how this shit plays out!

I think Crawford is a sharper puncher in terms of he catches you off guard, in other words the punch you didn't expect is usually the one that does the most damage. Spence on the other hand I think is more consistent with his punches throughout the rounds. Usually as the fight progresses a boxers stamina will decrease and the punches may not have the same steam (yes they could dig in deep and pull out a big punch late into the fight but for the most part it fades). Spence on the other hand keeps the same power throughout so even if it's not the biggest punch later in the fight when the opponent is worn down it does more damage. Either way they both dangerous for different reasons

This is the same argument that can be used why Bud is the harder puncher. Errol's knockout or hurting guys come from the accumulation of punches, everytime. You don't see guys getting hurt off not one single punch he throws but over a period of rounds getting hit consistently. Whether you wanna call it sharper or unseen we've seen Bud repeatedly hurt/knockout or knockdown guys with one big shot. I think the 2 fights vs Shawn Porter are the perfect examples. At no point was SP hurt by Errol. Even the punch he didn't see an got put down by.
PS. LoL Errol has hit guys with shots they didn't see too. But the result isnt the same🤷🏾♂️

Spence hits harder. Key thing is Crawford hits cleaner which hurts or knocks down fighter a lot more. Another important thing is when the opponent is hurt, Crawford goes for the kill. Spence accumulates hard punches to break this opponent off. This in my opinion makes Porter more special than any other past opponent of each of them. He ate all of Spence’s punches and was only disoriented by Crawford’s clean punches
You can’t really tell by eye test, Spence seems to be more heavy handed but that doesn’t mean he produces more power. Bud seems to be more explosive so we really don’t know who really hits harder…

@ndnfunk. The most KOs does matter when you trying to decide who hits harder. If I hit you once and knock you out or if I hit you 200-300 times and doesn’t knock you out. Do you really believe a guy that hits someone 200-300 times and still don’t knock that person out. They are hitting hard they are constantly hitting the same spot over and over again it’s gonna eventually bust open because of all the punches.

He said Errol shots are thudding but Bud shots are like electric shock waves. When Bud hit you clean you don't get a chance to really evaluate how hard the punch was because it turns out your lights.
It's the different between getting shot in the head at point blank range and dying instantly versus being shot up 50 times and dying slow.

My man Greg falling down the crawfish hole. Errol breaks bones. Bud has never put anyone in the hospital. Bud’s KO count is against less than competition and past their prime Errol opponents. Bud had trouble finishing a fighter with one leg yet Errol is breaking ribs and orbital bones. Errol retires fighters. Bud is a sneakier guy but how good is sneaking if you get hit by a truck. Look at the fighters before and after they fight Errol and Bud. You’ll see a huge difference.

When have we ever seen Spence reckless in the ring?...but we have seen Crawford reckless like when he got dropped by mean machine. Having a chin is definitely a thing in boxing we've seen Crawford hurt in every division he's been in. Spence has a higher KO percentage and he's broken down better guys. A lot of people are assuming Spence will be able to get to Bud but Bud has the longer reach and Spence sets everything up off the jab. Buds lateral movements will be troublesome for Spence. Every Bud opponent outside of Mean Machine threw fewer punches against Bud then in any other fight. That’s just my take on it

I disagree. Bud is older than Spence. Turned pro before Spence. He’s also faced weaker opposition. Also, multiple fighters have admitted that they had too take a break after fighting Spence. Algieri took two years off. Mikey was NEVER the same. Danny admitted that Spence was two times stronger than Keith Thurman and he took almost two years off. He knocked Bundu out cold. Thurman couldn’t. He stopped Algieri. Pacquaio couldn’t. He broke Ugas face. He broke Kell Brook face. Bud is not knocking people out. All his stoppages are TKO. Who has he knocked out cold? The main thing that concerns me about the fact that Spence is so predictable and you can see his attack. When dealing with a guy like Bud who can punch with you and move his head at the same time makes me think he stops Spence after hurting him in an exchange or countering him. Spence’s main adjustment is to keep the same style but just up the aggression and intensity. To me when he dies this, he falls over his front foot when he misses that 1-2 he throws, look fir Bud to take that half a step back like he did Porter, he will run Spence into some shit. Or maybe Bud can’t counter Spence because the volume/power is too much….I could see that happening but I think it’s far less likely

I like Greg Hatchett a lot and love his insights. But he's talking like him and Bud Crawford just became best friends. He giving us all Buds qualities but none of Errols. He saying Bud stopped everybody at 147 but 98% of all his opponents at 147 were trash cans. (no disrespect to Bud he did what he suppose to do) but.... We have to be honest as well. Errol's work rate alone could drown Bud or force him to start even slower and we know what happens as rounds get later EJ gets stronger therefore it's really in the air. That's exactly what I see. Bud getting drowned with worlrate and by the time he catch any pace. He's already feeling effects from punches from Spence and basically gets beat up waiting on openings.
