Thank you Ellis, thank you for the memories, thank you for bringing me back to a time of innocence, freedom and peace (before the war, that is). Great era - America, the Beautiful - We were "cute" and respectful back then. Peace be with you all, Ciao, L (Veteran)
Saw them 3 years after the movie. 12,000 in a community center arena, the best fifties cover band ever by a long shot. In concert they put on a show, not playing music, just the best.
I had this song in grade school.. I love songs from this era ....I wish I was a teenager during this time. ..😊... for me it was the 1960s....a kid ...1970s a teenager
Yes, they did. They used the original 1957 version of Louie Louie. It was cut from the original release, then George Lucas put it back in when it was re-released in 1978. I remember that Happy Days episode, too.
As described, edited from the motion picture and original soundtrack--something I put together--neither this particular scene nor song version is actually in the movie or on the album. Anyway, thanks for commenting and thank you for watching.
Would somebody please tell me that actress's name in the last couple of minutes? As many times as I've watched this movie I only recently noticed her. Anybody help me please?
This was the Best song on the album and in the movie I bought the album just for this song

I love the audio in the basketball arena of this song in the movie. The echos make it a much better recording.
There was still a certain amount of innocence back then that's gone from the world

Narrow ties were very much in style in '62.
I believe FC performed the song Louie Louie in American Graffiti too & Young Blood in Happy Days TV show.
