James give a perspective that very few on the planet can give. Ricky had true grit and was and is a great champion. James is able to see things and articulate what happens on the bike and why it happens along with how to fix the issue. He also as Cooksey stated the stones to to speak on things and mentally strong enough to carry his actions on his back. His observations I don’t believe have ever been malicious towards anyone that he critiques and I believe people are speaking bad about him just because of tribalism.

James Stewart in the booth is the best thing that's happened! I would rather hear him or Jeff Emig again over Ricky any day of the week! Same goes for David Bailey because RC gave zero opinions or best guesses.
Marchbanks leaving Club MX was the last thing I saw happening TBH. It makes me wonder if anybody else is going to follow suit.
Something tells me that Cooper Webb is starting to become more of a Supercross specialist like Chris Gosselaar and Billy Laninovich -- on par in Supercross, nowhere in Motocross.
Great stuff as usual, Cooksey! I'm watching every moto video on here and hope you can take this even further than PulpMX and RacerX are currently; something tells me you will.

While I 100% agree with about James giving us his opinion, I think it’s great that he brought that up about Chase’s head being down. Where I disagree with you is if Chase says he is looking up but his head is pointed down then we should just give him the benefit of the doubt. He said he made a mistake and he didn’t see that one rider that he should have but I think if Chase is saying he’s looking up let’s just believe him. If you think about it, he’s going way too fast to be only looking 5 or 10 feet in front of his bike. He hast to be looking up to go that fast.

Excuse this short story length post. I love what you said about growing up riding dirt bikes. First, I like technology because of all the great things we can do with it. But the many kids and adults are distracted from a more healthier lifestyle will all the tech. The good old days helped me very much, along with a stable home with good parents. Part of that was the freedom we kids had to explore, invent, create and enjoy healthy fun (and sometimes getting into mischief). Part of it was we only had 3 TV stations, no cell phones and our parents weren't over protective. We'd play kick the can till dark, ride dirt bikes, roam the streets riding home made coasters (lived in a hilly neighborhood) and so much more. I learned to work on my dirt bike before I was a teen. We learned how to troubleshoot and think in a way I'm not sure many kids do now. We had a desert cabin in the hills outside of Mojave, CA and we'd spend weekends there riding our asses off all day and talked around the fireplace or played cards or board games in the evening. Great times and helped me us kids develop skills that still serve us to this day. And was fortunate to see motocross races in the early days in SoCal.
