  • This video is an introduction to the concept and symbolism of the eighth house (bhava) in Vedic astrology (Jyotish). Among other things, the eighth house is used to assess things like chronic illness, difficulties, money/assets, occult knowledge and travel.

    amazing video! some questions- for bhava chart do you use sripati? if a planet moves into 8th house in sripati bhava chart do we take that as the main house placement but still retain the original sign placement? thank you

      if you use sripati (or other methods of deriving a bhava chart) you still maintain the graha's constellation placement from the rashi chart

      @@heartlightastro thank you, i just came upon a book by fredom cole that cleared up the confusion. Im now reading about stationary direct and how it makes retrograde planets strong
