- A full length full flight video in real time with American Airlines, from Dallas Fort-Worth to Philadelphia, onboard Boeing 737-800 N880AN operating flight AA1327 on April 4 2016.
*Every moment of the flight included from airport to airport. ATC for full flight.*
Our trip today begins at gate A29, at Dallas Ft-Worth International (DFW). We commence boarding, getting delayed in the air bridge as a first class passenger could not recline his seat, so boarding was delayed by around 15 minutes to allow maintenance to fix the seat. We eventually continue boarding and take our seat in seat 9A.
It isn't long before we push back, and taxi out to runway 17R at DFW. We depart to the south, climbing out over Dallas and making a left turn towards Arkansas. We climb over northwest Texas, towards Texarkana, before crossing Arkansas getting a great view of Little Rock, AR.
From there the cloud builds up below as we continue northwest over Missouri, crossing the southern corner of Illinois into Indiana, before making a right turn south of Indianapolis. We then fly south of Dayton, Ohio, and Columbus, Ohio, before crossing into Pennsylvania south of Pittsburgh. We then head east across PA, turning right over Harrisburg for an arrival that takes us over Lancaster and into the north of Philadelphia on a BOJID ONE arrival. We break through the clouds into a rainy day in Philly, getting a good view over the city as we commence our approach into runway 27R at PHL.
Once we've landed, we taxi into the gate, where we shut down our engines. At this point the captain welcomes us to Philadelphia and lets us know that we've had a wounded warrior on the flight today - Staff Sergeant Travis Mills, who was seriously wounded in Afghanistan losing all of his limbs in an IED attack. The aircraft gives a rapturous round of applause to thank him for his service. We then disembark into the terminal at Philadelphia to make our connecting flight.

I'm from England, but I really love America. Great country.
Yep me too. My favourite country, would love to live there.
And especially with all the stuff happening in Europe I'm getting scared to step out of my house
Do you collect model airplanes ?
I do indeed, but not got many. Here's some photos of my collection: goo.gl/photos/FJxHLW957V4wYvsJ7 :)
That's more than i have lol. I've got 6
Love these full flights thank you
Thank you! Glad you enjoy the videos, I have lots more coming over the coming weeks :)
I will be retiring next year, God willing. I plan on traveling to where ever I can afford
As a kid I wanted to be either a flight attendant or pilot so that I could travel. I love planes, airports, traveling. Watching this channel is so enjoyable to me.
BTW god bless that soldier for serving our country
The quality of your videos never let us down, keep them coming :)
Thank you, glad you enjoy them! I have plenty more on the way, with a little surprise in a couple of weeks :)
Really enjoyable video Noel. It could have done with a position flight map though
Awesome camera and great sound! Thank you for uploading! - Dane
Thank you Dane, thanks for watching! Please consider a sub if you like these videos, I upload new videos 4 times a week with a weekly full flight and timelapse flight :)
I take that flight three times a year and it's always full since DFW is an AA hub. Very cool to know you've been to the DFW airport
I hope that you can make a video from Tampa, Florida from San Juan, Puerto Rico. And viceversa. I remembered when I travelled twice to Florida on last decade. Lots of memories brought to me this video.
I've never flown to TPA or Puerto Rico, but I do seem to frequent Florida more than other places in the US so you never know :) Glad you enjoyed the flight, please check out my other full flights around the US :)
How come you didn't film the transit ride at Dallas :(
God bless that soldier
Absolutely. What a hero, he lost all of his limbs in Afghanistan and yet travels the US to raise awareness for veterans.
I am amazing that you managed to get a single on your atc radio.
I've been to DFW a few times. It's a strange airport, but kind of neat too.
Yep very strange - like so many airports it is so massive, yet it seems deserted as it is so huge (but actually busier than places like Heathrow).
It does. My favorite airport is Atlanta :)
Yep I like Atlanta too. So busy, and quite a lot of variety (although mostly DL of course :))
How lovely mentioning the soldier and you all giving him a round of applause
Didn't look like you had a lot of leg room lol hope your flight was comfortable
maybe doctors and nurses should travel in their uniforms too. they save lives daily
Yep it was a nice touch. The guy in question was a quadruple amputee, he had all his arms and legs blown off by an IED in Afghanistan. Now he travels around the US raising funds for wounded warriors when they get home. Very inspirational.
+inflight Video bless him , I'm sure all his hard work fundraising is very much appreciated by those wounded, such a lovely touch to acknowledge him
I have a fear of flying and your videos help desensitize me. you should consider doing a 360 video! it would be awesome!
Thanks Josh that's great that they help with your fear of flying! I am totally looking at doing that, it's just a case of finding the right camera and finding a way to mount it :)
I fully support the whole 360 video idea, I've been looking for one like that haha.
I know the feeling. I was scare to flight and somehow (I don't know why) this type of videos calmed me.
I'm the same Josh. These videos definitely help with my fear of flying!
Noel you the man!! Love your videos, and always look forward to watching them! Thank you for all you do, and send me a autograph if you can! I’m a huge fan buddy!!
Props to american airlines for having a clean window!
They may not be the greatest for service but their windows are usually clean :)
Great flight once again! By the way, just to give you a heads up, my next Full Uncut Flight video will be in about 2 weeks from now. An American Airlines MD-80 going from Dallas to Atlanta.
Thank you! Wow I am looking forward to that - drop me a message when you've uploaded it and I'll add it to the playlist :)
I'll definately let you know when it's up on youtube. I have a feeling that lots of people will really enjoy a full uncut flight video of an MD-80. I'll even be in seat 25F, which is behind the wings so you'll get to hear those awsome JT8D engines!
I just learn so much about everything on your videos flight related and food related and geography etc and your English accent is just fascinating and you make me laff and my fear of flying is fading away. If you can do it well then I ought to be able to also. I want to fly to Baltimore from Phoenix Arizona. That is a long time dream of mine and do not know if I will ever manage it for more reasons than one. God Bless your days. xoxoxo
Awesome Epic Absolutely Love Your Videos Thnk u Endlessly
Thank you so much for your lovely comment! Glad you enjoy the videos, looking forward to sharing many more journeys with you :)
i love your vids so I will sub to you and you are amazing because you record fo that long well done ;)
Thank you so much, glad you enjoy the videos and thanks for the sub!
Inflight video I'm your big fan I like these videos
+ItsDaRealBoy96 Gaming Thanks man appreciate your support!
Great video, love the applause at the end
Thanks! Yep it was quite nice to be a part of it. I only wish we in the UK could be as supportive of our military heroes.
Nice video!! I have to say I'm a fan of the American 737's
Thanks! I like them too, they're very comfortable and modern.
I really love your videos!!!!!!! They are absolutely great although I must admit I regret that the ATC stays on during announcements. That is a shame.
Thanks for watching!
I'll be sitting in that exact same seat from Tucson to Dallas!
Awesome! Enjoy your flight! :)
Any way you can do the new seasonal BA flight from Heathrow to Charleston, SC when you get a chance? That was sort of my home field for a while.
Cool video! It's one of my favorites on RUclips. Question: what setting was your GoPro in?
Thank you so much! I film in 1080p/60fps, with medium focal range :)
Good video!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it :)
I love american airlines
I love your videos, as they help me nap or concentrate on work. If by any chance you can fly to or from AVP or RDU, that would be nice. I know you don't have a huge budget and they're not popular airports, but those two are special to me. Anyway, keep up the good work!
Hey Shaun thanks for your comment, great to hear that the videos help you :) I'd love to fly to that part of the world, I'm hoping to have a lot more US flights soon so fingers crossed :)
Looks like a nice interior. But i thought they would have the new leather seats with the touchscreen tv. One time I flew on the Boeing 737 with this new paint job and they had the leather seats, touch screen tv with 250 channels. Did this plane even had shared tv s. Cause I didn't see any tv s open in this video. They usually are when you fist board the plane.
It is the old cloth seats but they were very comfortable, at least in MCE. There are overhead screens playing TV shows, check out 2:11:15 there is an overview of the cabin showing the screens :)
Just love your video's!
Thank you, good to hear you enjoy them :)
Great video !!
Thanks Gabriel!
waiiting on Boston vids, please and thank you. And why do all the vids not have the location tracker, with speed and height ?
Yep I'm flying through Boston in June, looking forward to it :) . I've only been including the location tracker for the last few months or so - older videos still don't have it :(
Great ! Thank you.
I pretty good to sky great :) thank you.
how about Cle or CMH to Dusseldorf or Muchen(Munich)?
How does he afford to go on many flights
RICH MAN CONFERMED
Im gonna fly from Turkey to the netherlands with Onur Air. But im afraid of that plane. I rlly hope im gonna land without crash... Nice vid btw
flown with our air a few times they are very safe no need to worry
That is one long jetbridge! Seems like they can load an A380 faster than that.
We had to wait because a passenger in first class couldn't recline his seat, so they delayed the entire flight while they sent maintenance crew onboard to try and fix it :( It was very hot waiting in that airbridge.
Just checked; there is not an N880AN in the fleet, I believe this one was N880NN. I flew on N876NN last. N867NN-N899NN and N9##NN have Sky Interior which I like.
Oops my apologies it's N880NN :)
Have u ever tried United 747
Nice take-off!
I was glued to the window for our scenic aerial tour of Dallas! :)
+inflight Video When will you upload the timelapse of this?
Planning to release the timelapse on August 12th for this flight :)
+inflight Video Ok cool, looking forward to watch it :)
are your videos done with manual or auto exposure? if manual.. which exposure value do you use? just wondering since my budget camera dims now and again on auto exposure, I'm aware you use high end camera, thanks
Hi there, it's not a particularly high end camera I use, just the silver edition GoPro. I have it set to be completely automatic, and then boost the colors a little in post as they tend to be quite bland out of the camera. Hope this helps :)
wow really long flight
12:53 pre-push announcement, 14:23 full chime, 29:22 welcome again, 2:48:22 descent; 3:26:38 doors disarmed & verify
Great videos! Do you carry a radio receiver while on board? And then keep changing the frequency?
Thank you! It depends on the flight, and where it is. For this one it was all in the USA so I could use the LiveATC.net archives after the flight. Other places such as the UK or Germany where it isn't available online, I spend a lot of time researching the route and the frequencies, and try to programme them all in advance to flick through as and when we get handed over :)
Look at the clouds
You've probably answered this question before but how do you get your ATC audio?
It depends on the flight. Usually I use LiveATC.net archives after the flight but in places where that isn't available I record using a scanner. This one was entirely LiveATC.net :)
inflight Video I'm in Guayaquil, Ecuador right now and I'm flying back home to New York tomorrow on LATAM (formerly LAN). I would love to record a full flight with ATC like you do. I'll see how LiveATC.net works and maybe I'll have a full flight video up soon :)
thanks for uploading, will you be uploading the flight back to the uk/ireland? how do you find patreon, useful, helpful etc
You're welcome! Yep I have DFW-PHL on Patreon now for release on 22nd, then I'll be holding back on PHL-DUB until later in the year as a large part is in darkness (although once it gets light it's well worth the wait!). In the meantime I am doing some more flights that I'll release before I release PHL-DUB :)
inflight Video great news man thanks
Good view! I going to upload my trip are: Mumbai, Singapore, and Malasyia! So, stay tuned for my report soon!
Hey I'm curious about the camera, is there a mount attached to the window?
Hi, yes I use a suction cup to mount the GoPro to the window.
i think you should fly on jet2
3:12:12 reallllly stressed me out. Hearing the woman on the speaker while trying to deal with the turbulence and going through the clouds
Con que camara grabas esos videos? y que memorias utilizas para grabar tanto?
Yo uso un Hero4 GoPro con 128GB tarjetas microSD :)
Do you use flightradar24 at 1:23:46? And how you can use it? Was there internet onboard?
It is FlightRadar24 :) And there is wifi on the flight so you can watch it :)
inflight Video oh, and do you pay for it or it's free?
Yo inflight we meet again uh oh yeah do u record with go pro cameras?
Hey man, yep I use a GoPro Hero4 Silver :)
Can you please do PHL to SJU please?.
Thanks Bryan I'll add it to the requests list and see what we can do :)
How do u even start from so many cities do u live in all of them :)
Haha nope I live in the UK :) I just tend to take itineraries that go the 'long way round', such as this one UK to Las Vegas which I booked as BHX-DUB-PHL-LAS-DFW-PHL-DUB-BHX :)
I assume you were in first class? Seat 9A is pretty close to the front of the 737
Nope this was Main Cabin Extra. First class is just the first 4 rows. The leg room in MCE is amazing though, 35-37" seat pitch compared to 31" at the back :)
have you ever been on China Southern?
I've not flown with them yet. They have some good deals on flights to Guangzhou though so who knows maybe one day :)
hey inflight have you been on a b737 200
I have, a long while ago. I flew on a BA 737-200 from Birmingham in 1997 :)
Best for tinnitus!!!!!!
As a fellow sufferer (albeit still pretty mild), I concur :D
would be good to see the meal and the cabin and other stuff instead of out the window all the time
Hi, sure - meal service (well snack at least) is at 1:23:36, and cabin overview is at 2:11:15 :)
ok thanks
How do you "stick" the camera on the window, in a way that it doesn't move
Hi there, I use a suction mount, check out my video at ruclips.net/video/MZPyKK3_T5w/видео.html I talk about all the equipment I use :)
inflight Video
OK thanks, btw, have you ever been to Madeira
Nope but we have looked at going on vacation there a few times! Always been put off a bit by the weather though :( Is it a nice island?
Yea I live there. It's good for you to go to the beach and nice for you to go exploring the mountains, florests and "levadas". It's quite beautifull!
Yeah my sister is going to Milan Italy for a basketball tournament but she is stopping at Atlanta her flight delta airlines flight 2222
1:04:20 is that a big fire?
Inflight hello I know you will take your schedule for flight right. From Philadelphia to Dublin Boeing 777 300 seat 35A window by new Wingview. Then will better was good your GoPro Hero Record ALL with Hours 9 hours 44 Minutes Done thank you :) . Smile. Thumbs up.
is it OK if you can fly into akron Ohio someday because I think some flights come here into akron once in a while, and also I thought Akron-canton airport is only for small twin engine jets but not plane flights arrive once in a while :D
Watch this space dude ;)
i just watch it and that flight was 3 hours why from dallas to philadelpia dont seem that long
and yea i did watched the whole entire thing i did not skipped one part of it i wached it all the way through
3:18:53 that coughed made me jump!
How do you manage to keep the camera so still??
Hi, I use this suction mount to attach the GoPro to the window: goo.gl/E2vRBs
Thanks so much, might be able to buy one in time if I can use a go pro... Unfortunately I might be stuck using my Nikon D3200. Trying to find a good & Sneaky way to record without grief from cabin crew.
You should be fine, if the cabin crew seem friendly then just drop it in that you'll be videoing the takeoff if that's OK, they should be fine with it - if they seem rude then just try and be discrete. I have spent entire flights awake hiding the camera under a blanket/pillow before!!
+inflight Video by watching your videos with all the future traveling I will be doing, these flights are just the start. next will be LAX to Michigan and then Australia, Dubai or Japan.
+inflight Video thanks for all your help. look out for my videos to be posted around Aug. 28th
Nesesito 6 buelos de avion aque precio
what class were you in
This was in Main Cabin Extra (MCE).
Sometimes I ride southwest to Philadelphia
Awesome, I hear they are really good :)
you saved 19hrs by flying instead of driving
Inflight 1 more question how often do you fly without recording
Never these days :) I really only fly to film them.
i go in that one to miami
"steep" take off
Somebody needs to give that person a cough drop.
It's my wife, I think she needed more than a cough drop :-P
Any one plays Phone 9:00
