@chrisazure1624 Yada yada .. it's not literally an eye for an eye, it's talking about justice And penalties that should not exceed the crime.. But Jesus takes it to the Next level by saying... Forgive Everyone who wrongs you.
It’s good but many other like kings and generals, the operations room and a few others also have been very consistent for just as long, not saying yarnhub is bad have been watching since their 3rd channel vid that have gotten tons of ether in many different respects
I feel like lots of people forget about the USS Saratoga and her actions during 42' Eastern Solomons, 43' island hopping campaign air support, 44' helping the British, and her tragic attack in 45' when 6 Japanese aircraft only 6 crippled an entire carrier. With 5 direct hits and three of them kamikazing her. Quite a feat for the Japanese that late in the war, with such accuracy as well.
Lt. Dickinson received a Navy Cross for the initial engagement, another Navy Cross for sinking the submarine and a third Navy Cross for being a part of the scouting regimen on the battle of Midway. Finally, he received an air medal for his participation in the Marshall Islands. One hell of a brave and talented pilot! Passed away in 1984, he led a fruitful life.
@tylerjerabek5204 true but I understand what he's saying, there are channels with well over 10+ mil subscribers that don't produce anywhere close to this level of quality content. Hell, this is better produced content than damn near anything you'll find on network television these days , and they're uploading it completely for free. Yarnhub is in a class of it's own.
After losing his brother he felt he had nothing to lose. Worst case scenario, he meets Miller very soon. Best case scenario, he gets his revenge for it
You should do a video to cover the whole attack on Pearl Harbor in detail from both prospectives. I know it would be long, but it would be totally worth it
I do not mind the wait. I always believed in quality over quantity, and I know Yarnhub is not one to rush out cheap content. I am in full support on this, no matter how long this would take ♡
it truly is amazing how far you boys at the Yarnhub team have come, starting with a minimalist and simple 2d video on a channel which at the time seemed like a side project, to a precisely rendered and accurate 3d video on a channel with one and a half million subscribers! I remember watching your first video, (the mad jack one) being amazed by it and then later during dinner casting it to the TV in our family room to show my parents, they didn't care but i was going crazy over it, so much so that i wrote a report on it for school. Keep up the great work ladies and gentlemen, now if you'll excuse me, i've got to learn about how a pilot sank a submarine to avenge his friend!
What an incredible, harrowing account! To fly straight into the Pearl Harbor attack unknowingly must have been absolutely terrifying. Dickinson's composure under fire and subsequent act of revenge truly show the steel of these pilots.
Yarnhub, once again you've outdone yourself. Everything about this video from voice acting to action and most importantly the animation are top-notch as always. Dickinson's exploits to avenge his friend Miller is also what started the legendary career of the USS Enterprise by striking back at the Empire of Japan with the destruction of the I-70 making it the first ship to be sunk by the Big E.
I watched a few older vids a few days ago, and this just shows how much this channel has committed to refining its quality. Keep up the great work, all.
Honestly, hearing your gunner was out of ammo would be a moment of pride and fear at the same time. On one hand, it means that he has been busy with keeping the enemy at bay. On the other hand, it means that exactly what it means. No ammo for the rearguard.
The most decorated ship of ww2, a ship who had her flight deck nigh unusable after Santa Cruz and STILL sent out full strength flights and sank the IJN Hiei and many transports! This video is amazing at showing just how far this crew will go for vengeance personal or national! Brilliant Job Yarnhub!
These renders, along with the sneaky "Like, comment, subscribe" and the transition to the ads are just getting better. Brings a litlle bit of fun to the videos
This channel is made entirely in 3D depicting real scenes, a very meaningful and useful channel, I will continue to support this channel, please make more meaningful videos
Another great video! Thank you! Dickinson sure saw a lot of action, including two of the war's most eventful battles! Interesting that a week or so later, off Wake, a US Marine pilot sank a Japanese sub as well. Yarnhub - please make a 4 part series about Wake Island! So much happened there in such a short time. After Pearl Harbour, Wake occupied the headlines as the US public hoped to see if the island would be saved. It saw the first defeat of a Japanese seaborne invasion force in WW2, and the small number of US marines put up an outsized effort.
7:10 Surveying the destruction, Admiral Halsey swears that when he's done the Japanese language will only be spoken in hell. (Battle 360 episode 1: Call to Duty, Feb. 29 2008)
I've noticed that the landing scene was wrong... he must go behind the carrier to land not at the front... but Good video though I LOVE how yarnhub makes videos like this to educate us about ww2
@luisDs24 You can clearly see in the photograph that the smoke from the CVs island is blowing to the left. With his back to the carrier's island it would mean he came around and landed from the stern. When aircraft carriers are recovering their planes they ALWAYS turn into the wind so the pilot can make a safe landing at lower speeds than if he weren't landing into the wind.
@Coolcat23848 interesting. The only 20mm gun on US ships i was aware of was the orelikon 20mm. Do you happen to know the specific model of 20mm gun it was?
Those PHs are how we get those real life photos in the videos. Nowadays they’re MCs. Without them we wouldn’t have those snapshots of the real people. Great video!

As always, love u guys :)
Already have also can your please make a rev war video
@Coyotes-b6f thats lame lol
Dickinson was also a supporting character in Midway (2019), where he was played by Luke Kleintank.
I was a bit disappointed they didn't include him sinking the submarine in the movie
Was he the one who played the SS Agent in "The Man in the High Castle"?
I watched that film, it was good!!
Good film
@riverland8809they already trying to fit 6 months event to 2 hours film,it would be very hard thing to do
The ad transition totally made me yell out, "wtf?"
Well done.
right its like i think i missed this in my history books lol
that was smooth
It gave me a good laugh.
History class never taught me about that one!
Worf ends up on the USS Johnston. He's last heard from happily yelling, "Today is a good day to die!"
Love the "slow downs" during an engagement
Yes, not only is the animation great, but also the storytelling style, these guys are historical artists. It's my favourite channel.
It's called Slow-motion or Slow Mo
man frikin awesome right
@mohammadz1296 yes indeed

It seems that Ghandi didn't actually use that phrase but his official biographer coined the term to explain Ghandi's intentions?
@waynesimpson2074 It comes from the Bible.
One of the most underrated history channels in the history of this platform.
They need me to work for them then they will really get recognition I am really good at drawing Stick figures 😂😂
@FabianHerrera-d9s lol
true
this channel is awesome. every video is intense
I already know this is gonna be a good video. This channel is probably the only channel I've been consistently watching for years.

NEVER piss off the Enterprise.
Lets make sure history never forgets the name, Enterprise 😊
I feel like lots of people forget about the USS Saratoga and her actions during 42' Eastern Solomons, 43' island hopping campaign air support, 44' helping the British, and her tragic attack in 45' when 6 Japanese aircraft only 6 crippled an entire carrier. @Nicholas-05-Tacticsspeaking of those two. Both Saratoga’s and Enterprise’s crews hated each other as the war went on.
The big E protects
@ludovicpelletier7529
Jon luc Picard he was a hell of a captain on the old NCC-1701-D
Great animation, but at 11:30 Dickinson is not going the right way for landing because the arresting wires are on the back
Was about to say
“Wait why’s he landing on the front?” 😂
He also took off without a bomb, but suddenly had one to engage the sub.
ur that guy huh....
There's always someone like you.
so i wasn't the only one who saw that lol
5:25 smooth promo lmao
Yeah, I was surprised for a second lol
i was caught offguard lmao
I don’t see
I appreciate that this channel hardly ever interrupts the video for its sponsors, they work it into the animation, or hide words in the video

He died in 1984.
In 1984, he died

A bomber spawn WITH gunpods??? Yes please
A36 has 10 50calls when equipped with gun pods at 2.7
Damn!
The illamunation on this one is amazing! This looks a lot of what you would see from a triple A game, but from a small channel! Bravo!
Small channel?
1.7 million subscribers say otherwise
@tylerjerabek5204its alot, but others have about 6-30 million
@tylerjerabek5204 true but I understand what he's saying, there are channels with well over 10+ mil subscribers that don't produce anywhere close to this level of quality content. @tylerjerabek5204over 2 mill now!!🎉
Illamunation is not a word. What the hell do you mean?
“WAKE UP NEW YARNHUB VIDEO JUST DROPPED!”
Yesterday was the 83rd anniversary of Pearl Harbour, rest in peace to all the seals who died fighting for their country 🫡
same here! same day
"Mr Dickinson" Like they wouldn't be on first name terms by then.
It’s more of a respect thing since Dickinson is his commander
Nick in son
Do you understand how officer life works
Revenge is a dish best served cold
the quality of this is absolutely insane, not only for a youtube video, that's better content than most of the thing on the tv
something to be thankful for
I still remember the scene from midway the movie when Millard dies, this gave me to many flashbacks of that movie
After losing his brother he felt he had nothing to lose. Worst case scenario, he meets Miller very soon. Best case scenario, he gets his revenge for it
The production value on this channel is simply amazing.
You should do a video to cover the whole attack on Pearl Harbor in detail from both prospectives.
I know it would be long, but it would be totally worth it
That could be an 8 plus hour video.
I'm down with it.
@bamacopeland4372that would be a massive pain to animate, he would need at least 10 months, with multiple studios helping, I would watch no question
I do not mind the wait. I always believed in quality over quantity, and I know Yarnhub is not one to rush out cheap content. I am in full support on this, no matter how long this would take ♡
Fun fact: the navy and marines had enlisted fly as pilots in WWII. They were the “flying sergeants,” who got to fly alongside officers.

The animation on this one is the most realistic I have seen so far.
Today is a great day because yarnhub uploaded
Such a brave pilot Dickinson!! Hats off to him !! ❤❤
What an incredible, harrowing account! To fly straight into the Pearl Harbor attack unknowingly must have been absolutely terrifying. Dickinson's composure under fire and subsequent act of revenge truly show the steel of these pilots.
I love yarn hub!

8:34:Hrimfaxi:"Ballast tanks damaged! Unable to submerge!"

I remember seeing part of this story in midway. They showed part about the two American planes. The gunner being shot and the pilot surviving.
Absolute masterpiece as always
I loved the animation freeze frame and transition to the photo. That was next level!
Do people actually check whether the date is correct. 😂
This channel is made entirely in 3D depicting real scenes, a very meaningful and useful channel, I will continue to support this channel, please make more meaningful videos
anyone else remember the OG animations
excellent as always, would like to see a pearl harbor documentary that is like a hour long. great animation and use of dialouge
Mrs Dikinsen is my technology teacher
Another great video! Thank you!

IVE WATCHED THOSE VIDEOS BEFORE
I promised the same after a learned about the Bataan death march
0:15 Is the island on the wrong side?
NO
I think you are right. It should be on the right side of the deck
At first its correct but at 15 sec, as you said, it is on the wrong side
Phenomenal work, Thanks.
I've noticed that the landing scene was wrong... he must go behind the carrier to land not at the front... but Good video though I LOVE how yarnhub makes videos like this to educate us about ww2
Y que sabes? Quisas el piloto aterrizó de esa manera...en medio de una guerra no hay tiempo para hacer las cosas correctas
@luisDs24 Not doing things the right way is how you get injured or die needlessly.
I was about to mention this. Otherwise, the video was great
@luisDs24please tell me, oh wise one, about the use and location of arresting wires in an aircraft carrier
“What video? Midway? What the hell are you on about, Lieutenant?”
6:18 is that a 25mm Japanese AA gun on the Enterprise?
US 20mm single mount they look similar cuz based on same designs
@Coolcat23848 interesting. The only 20mm gun on US ships i was aware of was the orelikon 20mm. Do you happen to know the specific model of 20mm gun it was?
I’d look it up
I think thats the 1.1"/28mm "Chicago Piano" Gun, which was then replaced by the Bofors
@flyingbusa3407 i thought the 1.1 only came in a quad mount. Wasn't aware of any single mount versions.
Beautifully done!
can you make a video about "When Israel attacked the USS Liberty"
Brilliant as always! Another great job!
Crazy how much these videos have changed over time.
Scrumptious

Humble video idea :wunderwaffe video

Gotta love the outros
The best way to learn history so far.... well done👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
