One of my favorite things about Tae is that he is so unapologetically himself. I mean the man was filmed dancing in a jazz (?) club by himself, surrounded by people in their 40's and older. Tae is what my mom called an old soul.

Introduced my adult daughter to BTS just as the solos were debuting. I played Slow Dancing for her and her jaw dropped. “WHO IS THAT? WHAT? THAT’S VEEEE?!?!?! THIS ISN’T KPOP!!!!” I told her they haven’t been kpop for a long time. They are pop, hip hop, jazz, R&B, Latin, rap, EDM, funk, disco, alternative rock, you can’t predict what’s next. Made my day. She was a fan especially of the dancing. Then the music. Then the personalities. But it’s the solos that has shocked her into the deep dive to really understand the music, writing, it all. Good work, Tae, she’s hooked.

More than co-workers, they end up becoming a beautiful family, who welcomed Taehyung and made him feel free, he enjoyed working with them so much that it comes across the screen.
I can only thank the entire team who was with him for treating Taehyung with respect and affection, the result of that was seeing him with a beautiful smile in each behind-the-scenes video, sharing moments with the team, having a good time, and creating beautiful memories 🥹❤️

I’ll say it again, Tae is the Marvin Gaye of the 21st century. His voice is so sensual, like velvet to your ears, and he is a genius in knowing what music best highlights that. The song that you remember is "Get You" by Daniel Caesar, which is one of V's favorite artists (and mine as well). I really love this type of music, as it's made for the soul and not just for the ears. That's actually the reason why I started to listen to V. I'm not a fan of K-pop music or commercial music in general (it's just not my style), but since I discovered V's music, I started following BTS. V is my favorite member for so many reasons, but mainly because of his endearing way of expressing emotions through well-crafted yet heartfelt songs. Borahae 💜

V's voice is very unique, smooth, smokey in one. Even the Irish Vocal Teacher (who was in The Rise Of Bangtan eps. 5) fell in love hearing V's soulful voice, I also really like his voice and soul plus the live band that V really likes... this is really his style and his album so art AMAZING 💜💜
V's Layover album has 6 songs altogether. They are: Love Me Again, Rainy Days, Blue, Slow Dancing, For Us, Slow Dancing (piano versions). This is a no skip album for me. I love all the songs. The album has jazz and R&B vibes and V's soulful voice is a balm to my soul. Here in Tiny Desk, he performed only a snippet of For Us, and Blue and Rainy Days are missing. I am obsessed with this album. There are MVs for each song. The album is meant to be listen to in order. V is very visual so the MVs are stunning. And his acting!!!! You also have to react to the live version of his song Stigma. It showcases his falsetto and his power. When it came out, Army was blown away.

One of the best tiny desks ever! For us is my favourite song on Layover. Taehyungs favourite genre of music is Jazz and he not a magnificent job on his modern interpretation of it, with Layover. Even how he chose to promote the album was amazing and very him.
Ahem, Nesto, I for one did try and warn you about V, several times. But now you can probably see the depth and sweetness of V Taehyung. I think Stigma live and Inner Child are important to do.
