As a big fan of Slash's trajetory since GN'R, this is probably the best solo I've ever heard from him. This music gives me fucking goosebumps to this day. I love how well built SMKC is from vocals, backing vocals and everything.
4:28 this solo is perfect example why is slash so good. people often say something like he is overrated and some other horseshits...yea, slashs guitar skills isnt on very high level, there is plenty of guitar techniques which he is not familiar with. His biggest abbility is to make sound simple things awesome, like this solo. When you go into it, you gonna find out that its built just from some agresively tremolo picked licks, nothing very much sophisticated. And thats it. Slash just beat all of shit of of his guitar.
Todd Kerns is the man! - great bassist and vocalist! Actually Slash and Myles Kennedy can hold their own too...in fairness... :) (and not forgetting the Brent Fitz fella! - the other main man in the 'engine room' of this great band).
Slither Music ROFL, are you blind son? that was clearly alternate picking. If he played that many notes downpicking he could be crowned the next king arthur
One of the best rock bands ever. Slash is my Guitar God and Myles is one of the best rock singers of all-time.

“Slash não tem técnica”

Was the solo run from 4:57 to 5:08 entirely downpicked?
No
Slither Music ROFL, are you blind son? that was clearly alternate picking. If he played that many notes downpicking he could be crowned the next king arthur
James Hetfield would've played that way
what camera did you use
I used a Sony DSC-HX9V.
Great guitar - awesome! - but the cymbels took a lot away from the song - too noisy and distracting.
I think it sounds perfect if it's pre recorded. But this was shot from an iphone
It wasn't shot on an iPhone. I used a Sony DSC-HX9V.
oh, sorry for the assumption
Andrei Tuico Don't worry about it.
what do you guys think does the guitar more looks like a honeyburst or a tobacco burst?
Honeyburst. I have a tobacco and it's more brown than yellow like the honey
ah thanks mate! Really appreciate your comment :-)
tobacco man, i have a 2014 traditional and it's looks like it's the same guitar
Actually it’s a desert burst
