That's actually not a bad practice and depending on the call of duty that's actually a good habit. With mw2 you just got to be smart about it. If your using a LMG don't reload until about 20 bullets are left. Anything else do around 15 bullets then reload
HUGE TIP: For the javelin- -Play invasion -Bots spawn outta the sky in helicopters over their spawn constantly. -Lock and shoot them as theyre coming in. -Overclock & Ammunition box -Sit near an ammo crate -Farm XP until lvl 11.
A big tip for nostalgias sake I haven’t really heard anyone talk about, is changing the hit marker sounds in settings to classic mw2 sounds, brings me back to the good old days since they didn’t give us any of the classic maps

I may be in the minority here but I absolutely love the TTK. It makes things feel much more strategic to me. It's not about getting lucky after an enemy lands a few body shots but it's about being aware of what's going on. It rewards more than just fast reflexes, it rewards those who are prepared.

Man this game is a struggle. I just don’t understand the spawns. Sometimes I feel like I’m just walking around the map looking for someone to kill. Then the next thing I know I’m shot in the back by a fresh spawn. Or I kill someone, literally a few seconds later he respawns right by me and makes a b line for me. Is it me? Or does the spawn logic make no sense as far as map control etc
Same. So often the guy you just killed is straight back for blood, the spawns are weird for sure. Some folks even camp near to spawn locations and wait to shoot 🤨…which is just hilarious (not)
That is the thing about COD problems though. They are extreeeeeeeemely relatable. Ok, I’m going back to crying about dying because I ran out of ammo. Again.
Right now in this game, I feel the best group size is 3. When we run 6, we seem to get put into the sweatiest lobbies and my ping will usually be higher than normal. With 3, we seem to get more lobbies that are on our skill level. Another, issue may be having that one dude in your group that is ridiculously good, 2+ k/d consistently. Once that guy joins, we seem to play with guys that you swear are cheating.
I absolutely hate that the perk kits which already aren’t my favorite are edited in their own category rather than within the class so you can accidentally change another class by changing them for another.
Another easy tip is, use the compass. The minimap doesn't show the red dot after they shoot, but the comoass will show what direction the shooting is coming from.
4:31 - BIG-TIME “unfortunately.” So fucking sad they’ve made MW2 more camper-friendly!! Especially when we’re stuck with this game for 2 years!! Since Vanguard sucks so much balls, I already played Cold War for 2 years, and was really hoping MW2 (2022) was going to be a great game.
Auto Sprint > Auto Tactical Sprint Making this change really helped my sprint to fire times and deceased the times I’ve been killed due to tact sprinting.
I have felt that I get punished when I have a good match, then I’m thrown into a higher ranked game. Where I myself am an average or little lower than average gamer. Wish they would get rid of the SBMM
SBMM allows the bazillion of noobs to enjoy the game and not get obliterated by all these player from much better than them to light years from their level. Its in all competitive games for more than 10 years, ain't no getting rid of it. The major downside is its complicate to group with friends with quite a skill difference as the lower skilled friend will not get much fun. And downside for the top % players who are in lobbies of their caliber and not stomping on people with 1/1000th of their console fps experience. (Which is only fair)
Facts. SBMM it's trash. It's great for a competitive setting but should be left behind in any quick play format. COD and pretty much any developer should be able to separate the two.

My biggest flaw is trying to rush from spawn. I spawn in late cuz the screen freezes everytime between lobbies and it makes me rush to get to better positions later than everyone else. But I normally do fine throughout the match.
My biggest issue is that in most 6v6 I'm the only one on my team running a launcher. Why don't people get that UAV's are massively OP and need disabling quickly. Amount of times I take one out for the team just to get killed by the enemy.
@@samgardner4667 that's why you have the ammo crate as a perk. UAV's are so easy to achieve and unless someone has a counter UAV (which can be shot down easy) your whole team are sitting ducks. There used to be balance by using ghost but now it's an end round perk.
@@jasontripp3726 ammo crate takes away trophy system and Dead Silence. Scavenger as a perk works fine. The ammo crate won’t help you mid firefight either. Run out of bullets and don’t have time to reload. You’re fucked. Launchers aren’t worth it

Unfortunately, they’ve turned call of duty into a rabbit simulator. Infinite jumping is a plague. That’s one thing that battlefield actually gets right.
I really hope they bring gunfight tournaments back and I hope when they release gunfight in season 1 that they release at least 8 maps specifically for gunfight.
In regards to time stamp: 10:16, Espresso I can’t play with friends on MWII simply because I drop massive kills every game and my friends can’t play with me because of the lobbies SBMM puts me in. They get stomped while I’m stomping. So the game FORCES me to play solo😭😞
I'm brand new to this franchise so have no idea what I'm doing - how do you get the red diamonds over the enemies heads? In any match I've played, I only see my team colors? Is this an upgrade I need to be working on or a setting that I need to adjust? Something else?
I think my biggest change from the first week was learning not to pursue kills. If I don’t kill them with the initial burst, and they don’t re-peek, don’t pursue them. There’s always another person waiting for you. Play your life and get the next person you see.
I get thrown into games are damn near finished and my team is losing terribly the enemy team either has a vtol or chopper gunner and everyone is camping or pre aiming a corner and I die 10 times in a row before getting my first kill. The game on a whole is super campy it’s worse than MW 2019 guys would just sit on B flag in domination and not move it’s really frustrating I’m an aggressive player sometimes I don’t even spawn for 2 seconds and I already die not to mention if a guy I pre aiming or camping there is nothing you can do you don’t even have time to react the TTK is absolutely horrible in this game and I’m praying they do something about it
For me it’s so much about lines of sight. I keep going for 2 at the same time thinking i can make it. Works sometimes but it happens a lot that the enemy enters the one I’m not looking at or expecting and I will lose that many times with that fast time to kill. That and just plain map awareness.
I find myself sliding through doorways rather that to the doorway. Shot right in my face soooo many times, but I find it hilarious to shock some players occasionally.
The best thing they could do to fix this game is take Sbmm out of Quickplay and leave it only in Ranked/League play. This way nobody is punished for playing with friends or playing solo.
Fov makes all the diffrence in the world for me I always played at 120 my self. I turned it down to 80 and was on a rampage. Becouse I could acculay see my enemy’s, I like lower fov. With very high sensitivity
I have a hard time noticing enemy models in MW2 for some reason which is ever increased by my problem that for some reason I’m watching the mini map way to much this time around for some reason
Have you came across anybody using the Riot shield and knife in any matches? I have! It's all cheesy way to level up both! I use the knife in the water! I wish we were able to use the pistol and the knife together though! That makes more sense!
This COD is just not that fun. Slow paced, can't run around, getting killed by people preaiming constantly. I stopped playing before I hit 55. It's a shame.
There is one map that is excluded from your mini map tip and the is hydroelectric, cauae of the water tunnels under the map. On tye route from A to B flag in dom there are 2 water holes that I have used quite well, since people skip kill cam you don't learn where the enemy was and how better to prepare for that next time
Regarding not running carelessly and headfirst into fights... As a player new to the CoD franchise I can't understand how to do that. I don't understand how people get information about where enemies are, and where the fights will be. They seem so random to me
Shoot down Bob in Ground War. The Cargo Chopper can turn the tide quick. It can be a nuisance with constant reinforcements. It can even take a point nearly instantly with a good coordinated team attack. Gunned ground vehicles can do quick work of them. Some players don't seem to know that.
cargo choppers completely ruin groundwar for me, the increase in tank spam is annoying but constantly having enemy paratroopers shoot you in the back is unbearable
Huge tip to anyone that sees this, you can use DLC Weapons to make progression towards polyatomic, so far the Chimera, M13, Bas-P, and Victus have came out since release last night i just finished my gold camo grind and i counted that i have 52 weapons gold and all of my launchers are still level 1 a not gold. i can still get polyatomic and orion camo without the launchers

I'm hating this game a lot of the time right now. As a solo player, someone who likes to run a sniper build primarily, the game is just ridiculous. Maybe I'm picking the wrong mode in playing too much Ground War but there just seems absolutely zero opportunity to play a hide, hit, move game as you used to on the original MW2.
Bf4 had a slower ttk than this, snipers were 2 shot kills and full auto guns were really innacurate at range Bf4 got weapon class balance right, this game did not.
@@KekusMagnus true. I just mean the slower pace reminds me of shooters I used to enjoy. Everything is getting too much about jumping, hopping and sliding your opponents at 100mph.
How to be good at MW2: 1) Use the current meta weapon. 2) Do your stupid hippity-hopity when going around corners or when getting shot (don’t worry, jumping while shooting barely messes up your aim) 3) Have your aim sensitivity super high. 4) Drop shot 5) If you’re on PC and if you still suck (for some reason), just cheat. You’ll most likely won’t get banned.
Is anyone else experiencing a bug when you try and use your SAE and it doesn't allow you to select the 3 targets and you have to let the timer run out before you can click out of it???
Ok, going to put myself out there because the game is only a week old and I'm already wanting to give up. With each COD or MW game, I go into it with great vibes and quickly realize the frustration. I basically suck in multiplayer. I mean suck.... I'm averaging bottom 3 ALL THE TIME. People are faster, people know exactly where you are and one shot you. Aiming down sights and trying to steady the gun, gets me killed 99% of the time. To give you an example, I love and still play TitanFall 2. LOVE IT. They screwed the community on coming out with TF-3 but I digress. With that said, in TF-2 multiplayer, I'm consistently ranking in the top 2. Every single game. I know the game metrics are different, but it's soooooooo damn frustrating to see the massive difference. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to hate this game, but. I also play on console, which I personally believe is a huge disadvantage. Even with the Elite controller. FML. lol

Sometimes, no matter how I play, I take a few steps or go round my 1st corner and immediately get one shotted by somebody who is moving faster than a bolt of light.

I call that sandwich meat. Im shooting at an enemy then boom. The ops shoots me in the back. Spawns are fucked in this game

It literally happened to me where I died only to literally spawn right on top of my death and kill the guy that killed me within seconds
I switched my kill streaks from how many kills to points. I also take advantage of the gun range. To see what attachments work and what doesn't.
It’s very concerning that I’m guilty of at least 75% of everything mentioned.

I have a bad habit of shooting before aiming at the enemy, which is largely due to me panicking when I see an enemy.
My biggest flaw is trying to use grenades for cleanup. Its usually a go to tact in most fps games but the throw speed seems to slow mid fire fight.

I like to play tactical instead of run n gun so I like to set up for recoil and damage with range so I use longer barrels with foregrips

For me it’s so much about lines of sight. I keep going for 2 at the same time thinking i can make it. Works sometimes but it happens a lot that the enemy enters the one I’m not looking at or expecting and I will lose that many times with that fast time to kill. That and just plain map awareness.
I find myself sliding through doorways rather that to the doorway. Shot right in my face soooo many times, but I find it hilarious to shock some players occasionally.

The best thing they could do to fix this game is take Sbmm out of Quickplay and leave it only in Ranked/League play. This way nobody is punished for playing with friends or playing solo.

Fov makes all the diffrence in the world for me I always played at 120 my self. I turned it down to 80 and was on a rampage. Becouse I could acculay see my enemy’s, I like lower fov. With very high sensitivity

I have a hard time noticing enemy models in MW2 for some reason which is ever increased by my problem that for some reason I’m watching the mini map way to much this time around for some reason
Have you came across anybody using the Riot shield and knife in any matches? I have! It's all cheesy way to level up both! I use the knife in the water! I wish we were able to use the pistol and the knife together though! That makes more sense!

This COD is just not that fun. Slow paced, can't run around, getting killed by people preaiming constantly. I stopped playing before I hit 55. It's a shame.
There is one map that is excluded from your mini map tip and the is hydroelectric, cauae of the water tunnels under the map. On tye route from A to B flag in dom there are 2 water holes that I have used quite well, since people skip kill cam you don't learn where the enemy was and how better to prepare for that next time

Regarding not running carelessly and headfirst into fights... As a player new to the CoD franchise I can't understand how to do that. I don't understand how people get information about where enemies are, and where the fights will be. They seem so random to me

Shoot down Bob in Ground War. The Cargo Chopper can turn the tide quick. It can be a nuisance with constant reinforcements. It can even take a point nearly instantly with a good coordinated team attack. Gunned ground vehicles can do quick work of them. Some players don't seem to know that.
cargo choppers completely ruin groundwar for me, the increase in tank spam is annoying but constantly having enemy paratroopers shoot you in the back is unbearable
my toxic trait is thinking I can double peek snipers/MRs with an SMG
a lot of times I run into fights and start to spray, been trying to improve though, i also like never use the minimap

Huge tip to anyone that sees this, you can use DLC Weapons to make progression towards polyatomic, so far the Chimera, M13, Bas-P, and Victus have came out since release last night i just finished my gold camo grind and i counted that i have 52 weapons gold and all of my launchers are still level 1 a not gold. i can still get polyatomic and orion camo without the launchers

I'm hating this game a lot of the time right now. As a solo player, someone who likes to run a sniper build primarily, the game is just ridiculous. Maybe I'm picking the wrong mode in playing too much Ground War but there just seems absolutely zero opportunity to play a hide, hit, move game as you used to on the original MW2.
Personally I love the slower gameplay with fast TTK. More like Battlefield 4 was.
Bf4 had a slower ttk than this, snipers were 2 shot kills and full auto guns were really innacurate at range
Bf4 got weapon class balance right, this game did not.
@@KekusMagnus true. I just mean the slower pace reminds me of shooters I used to enjoy. Everything is getting too much about jumping, hopping and sliding your opponents at 100mph.

How to be good at MW2:
1) Use the current meta weapon.
2) Do your stupid hippity-hopity when going around corners or when getting shot (don’t worry, jumping while shooting barely messes up your aim)
3) Have your aim sensitivity super high.
4) Drop shot
5) If you’re on PC and if you still suck (for some reason), just cheat. You’ll most likely won’t get banned.
Is anyone else experiencing a bug when you try and use your SAE and it doesn't allow you to select the 3 targets and you have to let the timer run out before you can click out of it???

Ok, going to put myself out there because the game is only a week old and I'm already wanting to give up. With each COD or MW game, I go into it with great vibes and quickly realize the frustration. I basically suck in multiplayer. I mean suck.... I'm averaging bottom 3 ALL THE TIME. People are faster, people know exactly where you are and one shot you. Aiming down sights and trying to steady the gun, gets me killed 99% of the time. To give you an example, I love and still play TitanFall 2. LOVE IT. They screwed the community on coming out with TF-3 but I digress. With that said, in TF-2 multiplayer, I'm consistently ranking in the top 2. Every single game. I know the game metrics are different, but it's soooooooo damn frustrating to see the massive difference. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to hate this game, but. I also play on console, which I personally believe is a huge disadvantage. Even with the Elite controller. FML. lol

I used to only play hardcore. As a result, in normal mode I forget to look at the mini map unless I hear the UAV call out.
Don't worry, I'm quite sure they will release hardcore pretty soon.
Sometimes, no matter how I play, I take a few steps or go round my 1st corner and immediately get one shotted by somebody who is moving faster than a bolt of light.
