Awesome video girl, these r55 n are really a scatter on youtube. As an owner, I'm happy to see this baby in nice hands. Def. a good takeaway from your vid. Keep it going!
Love you 😘 I was amazed how wimpy the oem intercooler is on the mini. I replaced mine on an N18 as my first modification. I was also amazed that these engines do run hot. I put a gauge in mine and just street driving I see coolant temperatures as high as 224 F.
Good work, but you should have changed the intercooler pipes to, I did the same to my R55 and its like a little rocket now. Also a good mod is to charge the turbo oil feed pipes to memba pipes
I have a 2012 Mini Cooper S clubmen I live in Garden Grove California I would like to do some mods on it could use some help could be a good Collab video.
@@BadKarma714 I actually don’t live in California these days, but I’d recommend MMS Autosport for any work you need done ! Good luck with your Clubman !
@@JulietteHallie thanks this is my second car. The first car was a 2001 PT cruiser. I’m loving the Mini Cooper. The car is scary fast and it makes all the right noises just had a break upgrade with the carbon fiber, ceramic pads, and the zincoxide rotors what are suggested upgrades/modifications do you recommend?
@@BadKarma714 on these engines maintenance is #1. You need to replace your thermostat AND water pipe every 40k. If you haven’t done that or it hasn’t been done that’s a TOP priority. (Preventing catastrophic failure) I’d also expect coil packs and spark plugs every 50 ish thousand miles. Make sure you check oil every 500 or so miles. Then once all that’s done I’d suggest intake, downpipe, intercooler, tune, etc
How did you clear the CEL codes for the O2 sensors? I got 2 codes after my catted do install and it’s now in limp mode/half power. Also installed the NM engineering power module that you have and it’s not communicating or else it’s the limp mode blocking it.
Hm interesting. Even with O2 codes with car was fine no limp mode. I don’t have an NM mod on this car. The NM mod was on my F56. Do you know what the codes are? Also your DP is catted ?
Yes, catted PLM dp P0136 P0141 Both bank 1 sensor 2 May have to go back to stock dp and see if things reset or go to someone that can find stored codes that my generic scanner can’t read.
Question a little off topic than the work you're doing here, but would changing the engine mount be a pretty easy project? The rubber is starting to crack and would rather change it myself than pay 1k at the dealer. Lol
@@JulietteHallie I've got an F55 4door. Saw a video in spanish of a guy replacing the mount that sits next to the front right headlight and didn't look too difficult. You seem to be quite the mechanic with your own tools so thought your opinion on the matter would help. This happens to be the part in the link. www.outmotoring.com/engine-mount-22116875630.html

I’ve noticed that with my minis! Their street temps are SO HIGH
Thank you for the support! ❤️
As an NA guy, I learned something. Thanks 🙏🏽
Boost is lifeeeee 😂
I must say I'm amazed... Sounds delish!

After downpipe change, does engine light come on?
Me yes, even with o2 spacer
Great vid! What would the plate say? Couldn’t make that out?
It’s supposed to say Club Soda cause it’s a soda edition clubman !
Where did you get you jack from?
Do you still have the clubman? If so will there be any new content on it?
Unfortunately the clubman is sold

Make sure a new water pipe and thermostat are in your N14/N18 every 40K! If it hasnt been replaced in those intervals, start now!!!
I love that hoodie where can I get one?!
The green one??
@@JulietteHallie yup
@@mintyzee3000 I got it like 6 years ago from a company called “Welsh Wear” idk if it’s still in existence but that’s where it’s from! 🥰

It’s not too bad depending on which one it is. If you’re able to lift the motor and have mechanical abilities it shouldn’t be too tough.

All you need are spark plugs and you can get a stage 2 tune lol
