I have almost enough money because I can trade in my iPad Pro and that Apple Pencil for the hers kind of iPad and the Apple Pencil 2nd gen! I just need to ask my dad and ill pay him back but any who yes you should buy it its literally great for anything especially if your a student. You can tell apple that you a student and you will get a student discount!
I recommend getting a cheaper iPad, like the iPad 7th or 8th gen, or the iPad Air 4, which is cheaper and actually better than the iPad Pro, they all have Apple pencil support

also a quick tip julia, you probably already know this but when you were decluttering your macbook i noticed that when you cleared it all up the stuff were kind of like everywhere in the folders but you can actually right click and then click either clean up or sort by and then choose what you want it to be sorted by! Hope that helps and I LOVE this video because i a saving up for an ipad!!!

I love using my iPad! I have an older iPad (from like 2017), and I’ve been interested in getting a new one this one looks amazing!! *my zoom wasn’t working on my laptop either! I started copying and pasting the zoom meeting ID into the zoom app on my laptop and it worked!*
You can access all the brushes ( for 18 hours) in ibispaint by watching the ads, i find that it's more suitable for manga/anime style of drawing because of the features

If you want a cheaper version, iPad 6 gen and up is great! And less expensive, and the first gen Apple Pencil is cheaper too!

another really good procreate alternative is Autodesk Sketchbook! no ads and you can also get it on a windows computer if it has a touchscreen.
