i quite enjoyed this series.it's an interesting premise, where human consciousness can be transferred from one body to another..so technically speaking no one dies unless the stack(where it's stored) gets destroyed.it can get a bit too graphic at times though..not for the faint hearted. and well this paring is criminally under rated so that's one of the main reasons i was inspired to vid them.

The hard thing with shows/movies where the bodies can be switched, different actors have different chemistry with others. These two have amazing chemistry, better than his and Quell's. BUT I thought Quell and the original Kovacs had great chemistry. But yea, I want Kovacs and Ortega to be together, preferably these two sleeves.

Exactly! And it's tough not to ship two characters that show so much development throughout and then you realize that their bodies are replaceable, and they may not stay the same sleeve (let alone stay with each other at all). Joel-Kovacs and Ortega def show amazing chemistry, while Will-Kovacs had an amazing one with Quell, so it's a struggle with what to expect next.
(Spoilers) I am heartbroken. I wanted them to end up together, despite all the things going against them. I really hope this show continues and that in the end, they choose to with each other, forever and always.

It sucks that they didn’t end up together, but at the same time Tak still loves Quell and I think it’s beautiful he’s still going out there to look for her. I really hope they bring Joel back in Ryker’s sleeve tho!
I’m obsessed with this show. I really don’t know who to ship, but I enjoyed the dynamic between these too. It did kind of piss me off how he just sort of took off in the end and the whole thing between them was kind of swept under the rug. I really liked this vid. Perfect song choice. Thanks!

And I still believe what he said about the sleeve ... He feels for Ortega part because of the sleeve and she feels for him part because of Ryker's sleeve too.
Can't blame her though, I must say I find him way more attractive in Ryker's sleeve than in "his" too ...
Ivan Anonym - I know he has to find the other girl, because, you know, poor girl... BUT I prefer him with Ortega. Althouth, I like Ryker sleeve more than Kovacs true sleve... But people are their mind, in my opinion XD.

I first tried reading Richard Morgan's book.but midway through book 1 I couldn't take it anymore..when I heard the show has cast Joel Kinnaman as lead I was immediately interested..and I think it was pretty well made,vfx was cool..tbh I enjoyed takeshi and ortega's chemistry a lot..Quell on the other hand seemed like a religious zealot..😢I really hope they somehow bring Joel back..if they do a 2nd season..I wouldn't watch it.I got too attached to Ryker's sleeve

This is the most amazing thing I've seen. How I ship these two dumbs and how sad I am about the finale. As I know there will be no Joel in season 2, so this ship is lost foreeever.

You just like how both of them look together, so its not the kovacs&ortega Ship you want but the Ortega/Raiken... Bc joel was beeing Kovacs all the time, but at the same time it was the body of Raiken. Since Raiken will most likely get again his body(joel), your ship isnt lost - if that makes sense :D

oh ive missed your vids babe, I need to watch this show but this is so beautiful (side note: its so HD what??????), this song seems to fit so perfectly for them and i loved the flow and pacing in here. Following the lyrics rather than the music really set the story in this, this is just wonderful!

Like other people said in the comments, the "problem" with the show is that one person can have different sleeves, so the actors can have different chemistry... I mean (sorry, I'm not a native English speaker), I LOVE the chemistry between Kovacs and Ortega, because I love the chemistry between the actor who plays Ryker's sleeve and Ortega. BUT, I don't think Ortega would have the same chemistry with the actor who plays Kovacs' true sleeve... And I don't miss Ryker because we didn't get to know him well. So, I'm confused... It's like I need another show with the same actors being a couple but being always the same minds, in order to ship them properly XDD. But I enjoyed the season.
