Powerwise I do think he could beat Tobirama, but in-character I just think Tobirama is way too experienced and familiar with fighting Uchihas to fall for most of Itachi's hax. I think it'd be a battle of whomever lands the first hit, which would just be Tobirama more times then not, though I do acknowledge that Itachi could always manage to squeeze out a tough W.

The problem with "full power" Itachi is that he isn't a character you can powerscale - he's a walking plot device to save characters from otherwise impossible situations. In other words, he's not just strong, he's straight up broken. He's the OP character in a game that breaks the balance, only this time there are no devs to patch him. You can't have any weaknesses if they're not "programmed" into the series. With other characters, you eventually see their weaknesses/limits. Itachi never got that far, so he will forever remain "invincible".

Full power itachi is not all that when compared to the top tiers and gods. He doesn’t have the chakra or abilities to compare, everyone else can spam their big jutsus meanwhile itachi would fizzle out half way through
@@TheLightningBlade Yeah, after all you have to have some frame of reference since we don't know how much stamina/chakra he had in his prime, and on top of that we never saw any version of Itachi go all out, he's always either nerfed (illness, Edo) or suppressing himself (vs Sasuke, vs KCM Naruto, vs Kabuto). But then for the physical scaling itself you have to give him his Edo feats, since he would be unquantifiably stronger when alive and healthy.
Itachi and Minato were meant to be unscaled. They acted as the benchmarks for the protagonist to Surpass. And when it comes to both of their stories specifically, it’s about their genius and how no other was like them. The only version of Itachi people can realistically scale is the one that purposefully held back, almost blind and near his deathbed from terminal illness yet he still outlasted Sasuke after fighting Orochimaru as well in chakra and ran out the moment he died meaning his chakra reserves are higher than some believe and it’s only his stamina from illness that was the issue. As seen with Edo that was only a glimpse of what Healthy Itachi is capable of. And for those talking about speed, he was able to rival his older best friend who was also talented and feared for their speed like Minato. Which shows when he dodged KCM Naruto and Bee simultaneously. A healthy Itachi would be much faster and his reserves would be intact for those that don’t know he used chakra and heavy medication to subdue the illness.

First off, my scaling for healthy Itachi is as follows: His Edo version kept up with KCM Naruto, and if Naruto wasn't going all out neither was Itachi since he didn't even have the MS active. However, that Naruto had already sent his clones to the different battlefronts, so just from this we can't say Itachi is definitely above KCM Naruto. But then if we analyze his fight with Kabuto, where he was suppressed because he couldn't simply kill or seal Kabuto away, and was asking Sasuke to be careful as well, we see that Itachi is able to move at the same pace as Kabuto, and only gets hit from a surprise attack and then he lets Kabuto stab him with Sasuke's sword in order to set up Izanami. Just as Madara said after being revived that he had become used to fight carelessly because he was an Edo Tensei, Itachi made Kabuto stab him multiple times in order to set up the repeating pattern for Izanami because he could afford to take damage. Knowing this, it's disingenuous to say Sage Kabuto can simply blitz Edo Itachi. But we also can't say neither Kabuto nor Itachi were on the level of KCM2. Given that the Edo Tensei can't bring a person back at 100%, we know Itachi was nerfed to an unquantifiable degree. Therefore, a conservative estimate for his prime self, not yet afflicted by his illness, would put him a little bit above his Edo version, probably above KCM Naruto and below KCM2, and either equal to or slightly above Sage Kabuto. As for Minato, Tobirama himself states he's better at "Shunshin" than him. Normally that would mean Body Flicker, but apparently Tobirama uses the term inconsistenly, sometimes referring to FTG as "Shunshin", so that's contentious. But regardless, he's faster at one of them. And Minato is more proficient with FTG. So I think it's safe to place him above Tobirama. I've seen people argue that KCM Minato is relative to SM KCM2 Naruto, which is not true for many reasons. Depending on how you interpret the Raikage's statement, KCM Naruto is relative in speed to either Jounin or Hokage Minato. In the interest of not downplaying him, let's go with the argument that "the yellow flash" refers to Jounin Minato and the Raikage never saw what Hokage Minato was capable of. Plus, there's the comparison with Kakashi mistaking Naruto for Minato right after he unlocks KCM2. With that said I think it's fair to scale Hokage Minato to around KCM2 Naruto. Now it depends on how much you think Itachi was nerfed as an Edo. Was he relative to KCM2 Naruto before the illness? If he was, then he's relative to Minato and definitely wins because he has a better arsenal. I personally don't think prime Itachi would have been that strong/fast. If Minato has the edge in speed, he can win. He doesn't blitz because Itachi is still very fast and has MS precog. If Minato is faster, then Itachi has to compensate by using his MS abilities, which would gradually drain his chakra and his eyesight. Minato's win cons are outlasting Itachi or marking him. Itachi's win cons are the Totsuka Blade, Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu (only with strategy, as Minato is fast enough to dodge it normally), and maybe comboing those with Izanagi so he can catch Minato off guard (though Minato is a sensory type). Minato is faster, Itachi has more durability, AP and hax. Both are geniuses, so even if Itachi is a bit smarter it would be hard to outsmart Minato. This is a very interesting fight, but I have to give the win to Minato because I believe he's faster than Itachi. It's definitely not 10/10 though. IDK what number to give, but Itachi can win high diff. Tobirama is weaker than Minato. His Water Style would be able to counter Itachi's Fire Style but they don't matter against the MS techniques. Tobirama would have to rely on FTG. As with Minato, he pretty much wins if he can place a marking on Itachi. But by definition Itachi would have less of a hard time fighting Tobirama than fighting Minato. But he's not too far below him, and if we want to be fair all we know is that Minato > Tobirama. And his Edo version was reacting to Juubito, therefore he must be above Rinnegan Obito, which I believe is relative to Itachi and SM Kabuto. Hiruzen we have to definte which version we're talking about. For prime Hiruzen, we have to give him his Edo Tensei feats. He doesn't perform much worse than Tobirama, and he's also able to react to Juubito and understand the nature of the Truth Seeking Orbs at the same time. Maybe this version loses to Itachi, but not his alive, young self. His prime has to be stronger than his Edo version, though still inferior to Minato. Prime Hiruzen is either slightly above or below Tobirama. However, he doesn't have FTG and he never showed any hax abilities. He still outscales Itachi but he has a very bad match-up in terms of arsenal. Either once can win mid-hard diff. As for Old Man Hiruzen, he gets stomped by even sick Itachi. Tsunade is the only one that scales below Itachi, so she definitively loses. Oh, yeah, we also know that Itachi is stronger than Kakuzu, so this means he's relative to Hashirama. Given his superior intellect + one-shot abilities, I'd say Itachi wins low-mid diff.
So in summary my ranking would be: Hashirama > Minato > Tobirama > Prime Hiruzen > Healthy Itachi > Edo Itachi > Byakugou Tsunade > Sick Itachi > Old Man Hiruzen > Base Tsunade.
@@giannixx minato is overrated. He is strong mainly because of ftg but ftg depends on kunai so he is easily countered by itachi. Also minato's ftg is faster than tobirama but his movements are not. The most obvious is when minato encountered the two brothers AB: when minato's attack had not yet reached A, B had already pushed A, when minato used level 2 ftg to attack B, he was counterattacked so to be exact his movements were not faster than B. As for kcm minato, look at the moment when ems sasuke saved naruto from obito six paths, while minato didn't even have any action

Another thing to note about Itachi’s fight with Sasuke is that despite holding back he had to give the illusion that he wasn’t, meaning it wouldn’t be unreasonable to assume that Itachi was fighting uncharacteristically. Keep in mind that nobody would know Itachi’s body more than himself, he realistically isn’t going to be throwing out techniques and praying they’ll land or using them unreasonably like he was during that fight. He’ll try to end the fight as quickly and effectively as possible. He won’t use very taxing techniques unless he’s 100% confident that he’ll land them. This means that even if the fight is drawn out, assuming he’s not killed he’ll still manage for a long while whilst trying to get around his opponent’s defenses because he knows once his illness kicks in his performance will drop. There’s zero incentive to use up chakra where it isn’t needed. So sure Itachi may not have the biggest reserves but unless you’re on the higher tier of characters and can force him to use up his chakra, he’ll be fine.
Every Itachi video would be so different if they hadn’t given almost all of his abilities to sasuke after his death. Imagine if we didn’t know how amaterasu worked or the sussano. Also we have this assumption that fights wouldn’t end in a genjutsu 1 shot because the series kinda ignores genjutsu after a certain point but realistically he would probably 1 shot at least 1 of these hokage with tsukuyomi.
@@jackloughridge7617 They should have given Sasuke his own unique skill set instead of nerfing Itachi’s through Sasuke. Black Flames that could eat other flames and is as hot as the surface of the sun yet somehow burns slowly but Itachi was able to pierce a supposedly impenetrable toad belly with it. It spawns near instantly yet somehow characters who are not sensory types could avoid it. Itachi’s abilities as a whole seems more potent than Sasuke’s who could use his abilities more fluently. At least in the 5 Kage Summit where Sasuke was noted to still be inferior to Itachi outside of being able to construct Amaterasu which is a MS ability.
People heavily underrate Hokage Kakashi just because he isn't shown on screen much, and hasn't he still not done anything in the manga? I don't keep up with it, but I know that technically speaking, all of Kakashi's feats in the Boruto anime are non-canon. But still, if you ever imply Kakashi is say... Hypothetically - Summons like Gama Bunta sorry if I misspelled it, are basically useless in ninja battles and only really shine when their opponents have summons to.. narratively they could perform a lot of help in situations, but normally only called for cool battles and I'm happy about that.
Itachi was constantly stated to be the most prodigious Uchiha that Sasuke looked up to. The novels just go more in depth on why Itachi was considered a genius in the Uchiha. He was compared to Minato and stated to be a man that only comes once a century by Danzo. He thought differently than everyone else since the age of 4. We have just never seen Itachi go all out in combat and when we do see him, he’s has illness and already near blind and still outlasted Sasuke in a 2v1. Itachi was purposely meant to be unscaled because his power is great but his intellect is his greatest weapon.
I think the existence of Minato automatically makes people down play Tobirama. Yes Minato is faster but this notion that Tobirama can’t possible mark most of the people y’all put him up against is crazy to me. I don't agree with the idea that itachi could "possibly" deduce how to counter FTG from seeing it once. I know he did this with chibaku tensei but FTG was a jutsu created by the second to counter the sharingan, itachi wouldn't have enough time to figure out its weakness because it happens too fast. Also another bit of information on tobirama that you got wrong is he didn't lose to ginkaku and kinkaku, the kinkaku force was a squadron of entirely S-rank shinobi (akatsuki like ninja) who he fought off to a standstill until eventually going down to them. Ginkaku and kinkaku weren't apart of the ninja in that squad it was named kinkaku for unknown reasons

In my opinion Itachi is one of the most Unique, Authentic and Influential characters from the series. The thing that people underestimate about Itachi fights/encounters, isn't just his power, (it's mainly writters or Kishimoto's fault for making Itachi seem or to look very powerful throughout the series) but how smart and intelligent he is during various situations, he never, ever underestimates his opponents because of his composure and his way of being, the level of thinking he's on honestly dwars most people in the series, with only people like Minato and Shikaku comparable with him. More precisly, Itachi isn't just any ordinary Shinobi also, he pretty much knows and he's also aware that all strong opponents have weaknesses (including himself), and he specializes in finding those "weaknesses" and exploiting them ("*Even the strongest of opponents always has a weakness*" - Uchiha Itachi) because he's that type of character who can exceed almost any expectations. Itachi is very unique and authentic, especially in the factor of facing various encounters approach, his unpredictability in his way of fighting style approach it's his key factor in all of his encounters. Being blind or nearly blind has never slowed him down (especially when he's pretty much serious, but that's the point, he has never go all out against anyone during the series.) Itachi it's that type of character who can exceed almost any expectations. (at least that's what we were shown in the anime by the creator Masashi Kishimoto). Moral of the story, never underestimate Itachi. He did more sick than most healthy ninjas do in their entire life. In my opinion No One should underestimate such an unpredictable Shinobi like Itachi, even Madara (I won't say that Itachi can beat him, but at least he will be pretty much able to put a decent fight that Madara will also be impressed in my opinion). Also how can some of you guys even consider that Totsuka Blade it's slow when no such speed feat has been shown through the Shippuden that state it that it is slow? All of you are assuming it to be slow it may not be the case... Its not that the sword is unavoidable but it clearly has a very long range and is a very long blade. If you look at the manga, Naruto, Bee and Itachi are all relatively small from Nagato's point of view, and you can see the Totsuka Blade extending all the way from Itachi, piercing through Nagato, and still managing to nearly pop out toward the reader out of the page. I would say its fast because Kabuto coudldn't even react to it, and its not like Nagato was completely immobile to the point that he couldn't sidestep the blade. Also, Kabuto controlling people from far away is never stated to inhibit the Edos' reaction speed in any way. Being controlled by someone thousands of miles away didn't stop the Third Raikage from dodging KCM Naruto's Rasenshuriken. And as for Orochimaru, the sword struck him in between syllables of a word during his speech. I think that that is pretty fast. Pair the Totuska Blade with a good feint and its lethal because its ethereal, meaning it can pierce through any object. If the sword didn't live up to its reputation then Orochimaru wouldn't seek it out. People need to stop downplaying Itachi and denying the very clear speed feats of Totsuka. There is no room for interpretations here. The advantage of being an Uchiha, especially for Itachi and Madara, is that during an encounter against them, they always have a counter because of their unpredictable way of fighting factor, they don't run out of options or techniques, they almost always have a counter in their arsenal, even forbidden jutsus seems irrellevant against them, only a few Uchihas know a certain way to approach the situation with a certain and effective technique, that's why is hard/difficult to fight against them in my opinion. ☯️ 🤷🏻♂️ Here are the things that make Itachi so formidable. Tsukuyomi - A genjutsu so powerful that you literally can't escape it unless you have the same blood as Itachi, as stated by Itachi himself and proven later by Sasuke, or you're a jinchuriki. Jinchuriki are supposed to be immune to genjutsu but it hasn't been proven, but when Bee was fighting Edo Nagato and Itachi with Naruto, he said to watch out for Tsukuyomi explicitly. Literally 99% of all opponents fighting Itachi have no way of stopping Tsukuyomi. You could have the power to split the planet in half and it wouldn't matter. (Want to know why? - Kakashi pretty much state it in the actual anime and manga that Tsukuyomi it's such a dangerous Genjutsu Technique because it happen in a instant, even if you realize that you are trapped in the Tsukuyomi, it will be too late, because Itachi could approach you during that time in the real world (or he can use an Explosive Clone to approach you without you even realizing it in time and he can pretty much finish you before you can even realize, - 72 hours in Tsukuyomi realm means 1 second or a couple of seconds in the real world. Tsukuyomi can't be broken, when used to it's fullest.) The Sword of Totsuka and Yata Mirror - The Susanoo itself is a near invincible defense but these two weapons take it to the next step. The Sword of Totsuka can seal "anything" if it even touches it. It's completely OP. It's hard to fight a guy that can seal you away if his sword even touches you. The Yata Mirror is even a bigger deal in my opinion. It doesn't block attacks, it's "negates" them. You could throw an Amaterasu covered Bijuu bomb at Itachi and the Yata mirror will negate it, making it so the Susanoo doesn't even need to take a blow. You could punch the Yata mirror and the force will completely be negated. His biggest strength of all: tactical intelligence - Itachi always outsmarts and plans for everything because the plot demands it. You're physically strong? Itachi is already 2 steps ahead of you knowing exactly what to do. You're extremely fast? Again, 2 steps. You're going to try and outlast Itachi in a fight? Good luck. To add to this, some of the 3 most powerful techniques in the verse are due to his intelligence and planning ability; Izanami, Izanagi, and Kotoamatsukami. Izanami - A forbbiden genjutsu technique that allows you to alter someone's destiny. Impossible to break out of even if you know you're in a genjutsu without complying with the users set destiny for you. Even someone like Bee, a perfect Jinchuriki, can't escape Izanami unless he does what Itachi wants him to. Izanagi - You somehow gained an advantage over Itachi? He makes it so that advantage never happened. Kotoamatsukami - Though Shisui's technique, Itachi has his eye which effectively makes it his weapon. A genjutsu so powerful that the person it's cast on doesn't even know they're under a genjutsu. Like the Tsukuyomi, completely OP. To add to all of this, Itachi is pretty good at hand to hand combat (his Taijutsu it's exceptional and underrated), is great with shuriken, is extremely fast, is great with regular fire techniques, is slippery and unpredictable, and has the extremely dangerous and fast Genjutsu style of fighting approach that can caught you off guard almost at any time. With all of these things considered you've got one dangerous ninja. Lastly but not least Kishimoto made sure that Itachi was seen as someone special and he did an incredible job in establishing that in the story. When Itachi Uchiha awakened his Susano'o, he was seen wielding legendary weapons of the Totsuka Blade and the Yata Mirror. The former allowed Itachi to seal anyone he pierced in a world of genjutsu forever, while the latter gave him the ability to deflect any and all attacks thrown towards him, regardless of whether they were physical or spiritual in nature. According to Zetsu (who was around since the period of Kaguya time era until the present of Naruto) he state it in the anime and also in the manga that these weapons, when combined with his Susano'o, made Itachi Invincible. This is why Kishimoto basically had to give him a handicap: Naruto AIDS. 🤷🏻♂️ ☯️

Izuna is definitely a good case for Tobirama, but Izuna also didn’t have the hax abilities and weapons that Itachi does. In terms of hax is might even say Itachi could possibly beat Izuna. Especially if we’re considering he and Tobirama relatively close to each in terms of power and at the same time considering that the gap between Izuna and Madara is the same as Hashirama and Tobirama

im one of the people that use novels feats seeing as they are cannon. I see potential win cons for itachi against kakashi however there are a lot of thing to take account for. like the fact the tsukuyomi requires eye contact and it requires itachi to have superior chakra control than his victim. kakashi has far superior chakra control so there would be no way for itachi to control the flow of chakra inside kakashis brain. even jiraya states this twice. all if itachis other attack are to slow seeing as kakashi is faster than base koji who is faster than delta who is relative to supressed kcm 2 six paths naruto . who is obviously faster than base naruto who is faster than or relative to kaguya. fire mist jutsu has country level ap/ dc and overcame hagoromos chakra so i dont really see itachis surviving this . kakashis can also just outlast. i think he takes it 8 or 9 times out of 10.

Yes Itachi put Orochimaru in a genjustu that doesn’t mean do they actually fought he wouldn’t have to exert effort. We know that Hiruzen even just a few years younger is stronger than the Sanin by a good margin. I think Itachi’s genjustu feats early in the series exaggerates the gaps in power between him and others. I agree he definitely beats hiruzen comfortably
Tsunade didn’t break Sasuke and Kakashi out of Tsukuyomi, Sasuke’s lasted 24h hours and Kakashi 72h mentally, but at the end of their fights they were out of the Genjutsu and were able to communicate with people, what she did was heal the phisical and mental toll the genjutsu had on their bodies. Tsunade being immune to genjutsu is one of the stupidest headcanon I have ever seen

Itachi in character goes for genjutsu off rip, we only see Tsunade using her advanced healing techniques when she really needs to. That being said it’s more than likely Itachi lands a genjutsu then Tsunade can activate her seal. And even if she could resist basic sharingan genjutsu, amaterasu because of the nature of how it operates would essentially force Tsunade’s seal to enter an “overdrive” state. It’d use up too quickly and the fight would be history at that point.

Couldn't Minato just teleport from the flames. I mean Obito had him in Kamui but he just teleported away and nullified the effects. I don't think Amaterasu will travel with him in the dimension void he uses Hiraishin with. Plus Minato reaction time is good enough that he'll only take supplemental damage from the flames before he teleported away.
i would say minato is fast, but it only takes one glance at Itachi's eyes, since he's proficient and fast enough to put many in a genjutsu before they even notice.
Itachi knows how to fight speedsters. His best friend was shisui uchiha. Shisui is faster than tobirama. I also believe itachi is eqivalent in strength to minato since the story kinda gives you a hint where obito says that people like itachi are a nuisance. Just the same as obito thought of minato.

Yall are saying Tsunade can't hit itachi but she hit madara unassisted with his ems while he's attempting to dodge her punch and got blown up for it. She's fast enough to pressure itachi and keep him on his toes. Madara could react and block V2 Ay's speed before being amped by ohnoki. For amaterasu, Tsunade can remove the uppermost layer of her skin to nullify the technique, she can use a chakra shroud like naruto did to remove amaterasu like he did vs sasuke. Thanks to the byakugou seal her and Sakura are the two most resistant to genjutsu as they are most in tune with their chakra flow. Add katsuyu to this and she's just going to be almost immune to genjutsu, katsuyu can remove amaterasu from Tsunade's body and herself, she's fireproof so reg firestyle won't work on her, her acid can oneshot itachi and can affect yata mirror as its sage energy and natural acid as well as the most acidic based attack in the verse. Katsuyu can split apart on a whim to avoid being sealed or reshape her body to dodge attacks as she can liquefy herself. Tsunade can also dodge thanks to her evasion prowess that she taught sakura. Tsunade has body pathway derangement which is game over for itachi as they will engage into h2h. You're saying Tsunade doesn't have an long ranged attacks but she does as just being in the aoe of her attacks can kill or seriously injure you she can easily replicate war arc Sakura's punch. She can also deflect itachi's long ranged ninjutsu back at him with her chakra shroud deflection and coupled with her strength it would be moving back to itachi at quite the speed. She tanked madara's magatama beads point blank without damage so itachi's ain't doing anything. Itachi doesn't have the reserves, endurance, durability or stamina to keep up with Tsunade. Tsunade could also just break the sword with her chakra enhanced strength as her fists are coated with chakra and not physically/directly touching the sword. The only way I see Tsunade losing is if she decides to tank a hit from the blade and play possum like she did vs madara and then tries to break the sword before she's sealed but its a sealing jutsu but also a sword at the same time😅. She has broken all versions of madara's susanoo swords except perfect susanoo. Then again, before being sealed, a katsuyu clone can always reverse summon tsunade to its location on the battlefield so 🤷♂️
Lol your head canon is like mine for hiruzen. As far as I'm concerned ino shika cho formation with shadow clones is 1 example of the crazy style he could have had. Not handy against maybe multiple kage level opponents, but 1v1 is a crazy advantage

Very Biased video. But am not surprised at this point. The only people Itachi absolutely defeat in that list are Hiruzen, and Kakashi. And he can't defeat Hashirama, Tobirama will beat him 6 out of 4, Tsunade will be a tie (5/5), and Naruto will beat him.

Itachi was able to counter Sasuke who summoned his Kunai. He has shown that he could easily counter Minato’s Shuriken with his own Shurikenjutsu without needing to expend chakra. This would also give Itachi a clear viewsight of where Minato is plotting on attacking him from. Itachi also has multiple ways of placing someone under Genjutsu outside his Sharingan and both he and Minato are skilled Shadow Clone Users. Itachi could also one shot Minato who has no knowledge of Tsukuyomi. I think they are equal and comparable.

I think Itachi could beat Minato tbh. Itachi has a pretty good move set to counter Minato. Itachi’s Kunai/Shuriken skills can deflect Minato’s ftg Kunai’s. Base to base Itachi is relative to Minato in speed. Minato also has to watch out for genjutsu/Tsukiyomi and Amaterasu. Furthermore Minato can’t break Itachi’s Susano and Minato has to watch out for the Totsuka blade and Yasaka beads. I like Minato and he is strong, but I think Minato would be overwhelmed especially with them having similar BIQ. @TheLightningBlade I do want to know your thoughts on the Kunai/Shuriken argument. I did copy and paste this from the community post but no one brings up Itachi’s Kunai skills in deflecting the flying Raijin Kunai for some reason. You said that Minato has to much going for him but I think the opposite in favor for Itachi. I have this going 6-7 out of 10 with Itachi winning most of the fights. Of course not Kcm Minato, but alive Hokage Minato. W vid though.
@@derekseago9647 Itachi kept up with Kcm1 Naruto with a 3 tomoe Sharingan. The same Kcm Naruto that out ran the Raikage’s fastest punch. So base to base they are relative. Minato is only the fastest ninja when he is using ftg.

The problem with "full power" Itachi is that he isn't a character you can powerscale - he's a walking plot device to save characters from otherwise impossible situations.
In other words, he's not just strong, he's straight up broken. He's the OP character in a game that breaks the balance, only this time there are no devs to patch him. You can't have any weaknesses if they're not "programmed" into the series.
With other characters, you eventually see their weaknesses/limits. Itachi never got that far, so he will forever remain "invincible".

But then for the physical scaling itself you have to give him his Edo feats, since he would be unquantifiably stronger when alive and healthy.

Itachi and Minato were meant to be unscaled. They acted as the benchmarks for the protagonist to Surpass. And when it comes to both of their stories specifically, it’s about their genius and how no other was like them. The only version of Itachi people can realistically scale is the one that purposefully held back, almost blind and near his deathbed from terminal illness yet he still outlasted Sasuke after fighting Orochimaru as well in chakra and ran out the moment he died meaning his chakra reserves are higher than some believe and it’s only his stamina from illness that was the issue. As seen with Edo that was only a glimpse of what Healthy Itachi is capable of. And for those talking about speed, he was able to rival his older best friend who was also talented and feared for their speed like Minato. Which shows when he dodged KCM Naruto and Bee simultaneously. First off, my scaling for healthy Itachi is as follows: His Edo version kept up with KCM Naruto, and if Naruto wasn't going all out neither was Itachi since he didn't even have the MS active. However, that Naruto had already sent his clones to the different battlefronts, so just from this we can't say Itachi is definitely above KCM Naruto. But then if we analyze his fight with Kabuto, where he was suppressed because he couldn't simply kill or seal Kabuto away, and was asking Sasuke to be careful as well, we see that Itachi is able to move at the same pace as Kabuto, and only gets hit from a surprise attack and then he lets Kabuto stab him with Sasuke's sword in order to set up Izanami. Just as Madara said after being revived that he had become used to fight carelessly because he was an Edo Tensei, Itachi made Kabuto stab him multiple times in order to set up the repeating pattern for Izanami because he could afford to take damage. Knowing this, it's disingenuous to say Sage Kabuto can simply blitz Edo Itachi. But we also can't say neither Kabuto nor Itachi were on the level of KCM2. Given that the Edo Tensei can't bring a person back at 100%, we know Itachi was nerfed to an unquantifiable degree. Therefore, a conservative estimate for his prime self, not yet afflicted by his illness, would put him a little bit above his Edo version, probably above KCM Naruto and below KCM2, and either equal to or slightly above Sage Kabuto.
As for Minato, Tobirama himself states he's better at "Shunshin" than him. Normally that would mean Body Flicker, but apparently Tobirama uses the term inconsistenly, sometimes referring to FTG as "Shunshin", so that's contentious. But regardless, he's faster at one of them. And Minato is more proficient with FTG. So I think it's safe to place him above Tobirama.
I've seen people argue that KCM Minato is relative to SM KCM2 Naruto, which is not true for many reasons. Depending on how you interpret the Raikage's statement, KCM Naruto is relative in speed to either Jounin or Hokage Minato. In the interest of not downplaying him, let's go with the argument that "the yellow flash" refers to Jounin Minato and the Raikage never saw what Hokage Minato was capable of. Plus, there's the comparison with Kakashi mistaking Naruto for Minato right after he unlocks KCM2. With that said I think it's fair to scale Hokage Minato to around KCM2 Naruto.
Now it depends on how much you think Itachi was nerfed as an Edo. Was he relative to KCM2 Naruto before the illness? If he was, then he's relative to Minato and definitely wins because he has a better arsenal. I personally don't think prime Itachi would have been that strong/fast. If Minato has the edge in speed, he can win. He doesn't blitz because Itachi is still very fast and has MS precog. If Minato is faster, then Itachi has to compensate by using his MS abilities, which would gradually drain his chakra and his eyesight. Minato's win cons are outlasting Itachi or marking him. Itachi's win cons are the Totsuka Blade, Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu (only with strategy, as Minato is fast enough to dodge it normally), and maybe comboing those with Izanagi so he can catch Minato off guard (though Minato is a sensory type). Minato is faster, Itachi has more durability, AP and hax. Both are geniuses, so even if Itachi is a bit smarter it would be hard to outsmart Minato. Tobirama is weaker than Minato. His Water Style would be able to counter Itachi's Fire Style but they don't matter against the MS techniques. Tobirama would have to rely on FTG. As with Minato, he pretty much wins if he can place a marking on Itachi. But by definition Itachi would have less of a hard time fighting Tobirama than fighting Minato. But he's not too far below him, and if we want to be fair all we know is that Minato > Tobirama. And his Edo version was reacting to Juubito, therefore he must be above Rinnegan Obito, which I believe is relative to Itachi and SM Kabuto.
Hiruzen we have to definte which version we're talking about. For prime Hiruzen, we have to give him his Edo Tensei feats. He doesn't perform much worse than Tobirama, and he's also able to react to Juubito and understand the nature of the Truth Seeking Orbs at the same time. Maybe this version loses to Itachi, but not his alive, young self. His prime has to be stronger than his Edo version, though still inferior to Minato. Prime Hiruzen is either slightly above or below Tobirama. However, he doesn't have FTG and he never showed any hax abilities. He still outscales Itachi but he has a very bad match-up in terms of arsenal. Either once can win mid-hard diff. As for Old Man Hiruzen, he gets stomped by even sick Itachi.
Tsunade is the only one that scales below Itachi, so she definitively loses. Oh, yeah, we also know that Itachi is stronger than Kakuzu, so this means he's relative to Hashirama. Given his superior intellect + one-shot abilities, I'd say Itachi wins low-mid diff.

Another thing to note about Itachi’s fight with Sasuke is that despite holding back he had to give the illusion that he wasn’t, meaning it wouldn’t be unreasonable to assume that Itachi was fighting uncharacteristically. Keep in mind that nobody would know Itachi’s body more than himself, he realistically isn’t going to be throwing out techniques and praying they’ll land or using them unreasonably like he was during that fight. He’ll try to end the fight as quickly and effectively as possible. He won’t use very taxing techniques unless he’s 100% confident that he’ll land them. This means that even if the fight is drawn out, assuming he’s not killed he’ll still manage for a long while whilst trying to get around his opponent’s defenses because he knows once his illness kicks in his performance will drop. There’s zero incentive to use up chakra where it isn’t needed. So sure Itachi may not have the biggest reserves but unless you’re on the higher tier of characters and can force him to use up his chakra, he’ll be fine.

Every Itachi video would be so different if they hadn’t given almost all of his abilities to sasuke after his death. Imagine if we didn’t know how amaterasu worked or the sussano. Also we have this assumption that fights wouldn’t end in a genjutsu 1 shot because the series kinda ignores genjutsu after a certain point but realistically he would probably 1 shot at least 1 of these hokage with tsukuyomi.
@@jackloughridge7617 They should have given Sasuke his own unique skill set instead of nerfing Itachi’s through Sasuke. Black Flames that could eat other flames and is as hot as the surface of the sun yet somehow burns slowly but Itachi was able to pierce a supposedly impenetrable toad belly with it. It spawns near instantly yet somehow characters who are not sensory types could avoid it. Itachi’s abilities as a whole seems more potent than Sasuke’s who could use his abilities more fluently. At least in the 5 Kage Summit where Sasuke was noted to still be inferior to Itachi outside of being able to construct Amaterasu which is a MS ability.

Hypothetically - Summons like Gama Bunta sorry if I misspelled it, are basically useless in ninja battles and only really shine when their opponents have summons to.. narratively they could perform a lot of help in situations, but normally only called for cool battles and I'm happy about that.

Itachi was constantly stated to be the most prodigious Uchiha that Sasuke looked up to. The novels just go more in depth on why Itachi was considered a genius in the Uchiha. He was compared to Minato and stated to be a man that only comes once a century by Danzo. He thought differently than everyone else since the age of 4. We have just never seen Itachi go all out in combat and when we do see him, he’s has illness and already near blind and still outlasted Sasuke in a 2v1. Itachi was purposely meant to be unscaled because his power is great but his intellect is his greatest weapon.

I think the existence of Minato automatically makes people down play Tobirama. Yes Minato is faster but this notion that Tobirama can’t possible mark most of the people y’all put him up against is crazy to me. I don't agree with the idea that itachi could "possibly" deduce how to counter FTG from seeing it once. I know he did this with chibaku tensei but FTG was a jutsu created by the second to counter the sharingan, itachi wouldn't have enough time to figure out its weakness because it happens too fast.
Also another bit of information on tobirama that you got wrong is he didn't lose to ginkaku and kinkaku, the kinkaku force was a squadron of entirely S-rank shinobi (akatsuki like ninja) who he fought off to a standstill until eventually going down to them. Ginkaku and kinkaku weren't apart of the ninja in that squad it was named kinkaku for unknown reasons

Naaah I think The gap between Hashirama and Itachi is definitely wider than Itachi and Hiruzen.
In my opinion Itachi is one of the most Unique, Authentic and Influential characters from the series. The thing that people underestimate about Itachi fights/encounters, isn't just his power, (it's mainly writters or Kishimoto's fault for making Itachi seem or to look very powerful throughout the series) but how smart and intelligent he is during various situations, he never, ever underestimates his opponents because of his composure and his way of being, the level of thinking he's on honestly dwars most people in the series, with only people like Minato and Shikaku comparable with him. More precisly, Itachi isn't just any ordinary Shinobi also, he pretty much knows and he's also aware that all strong opponents have weaknesses (including himself), and he specializes in finding those "weaknesses" and exploiting them ("*Even the strongest of opponents always has a weakness*" - Uchiha Itachi) because he's that type of character who can exceed almost any expectations. Itachi is very unique and authentic, especially in the factor of facing various encounters approach, his unpredictability in his way of fighting style approach it's his key factor in all of his encounters. Being blind or nearly blind has never slowed him down (especially when he's pretty much serious, but that's the point, he has never go all out against anyone during the series.) Itachi it's that type of character who can exceed almost any expectations. (at least that's what we were shown in the anime by the creator Masashi Kishimoto). Moral of the story, never underestimate Itachi. He did more sick than most healthy ninjas do in their entire life. In my opinion No One should underestimate such an unpredictable Shinobi like Itachi, even Madara (I won't say that Itachi can beat him, but at least he will be pretty much able to put a decent fight that Madara will also be impressed in my opinion). Also how can some of you guys even consider that Totsuka Blade it's slow when no such speed feat has been shown through the Shippuden that state it that it is slow? All of you are assuming it to be slow it may not be the case... Its not that the sword is unavoidable but it clearly has a very long range and is a very long blade. If you look at the manga, Naruto, Bee and Itachi are all relatively small from Nagato's point of view, and you can see the Totsuka Blade extending all the way from Itachi, piercing through Nagato, and still managing to nearly pop out toward the reader out of the page. I would say its fast because Kabuto coudldn't even react to it, and its not like Nagato was completely immobile to the point that he couldn't sidestep the blade. Also, Kabuto controlling people from far away is never stated to inhibit the Edos' reaction speed in any way. Being controlled by someone thousands of miles away didn't stop the Third Raikage from dodging KCM Naruto's Rasenshuriken. And as for Orochimaru, the sword struck him in between syllables of a word during his speech. I think that that is pretty fast. Pair the Totuska Blade with a good feint and its lethal because its ethereal, meaning it can pierce through any object. If the sword didn't live up to its reputation then Orochimaru wouldn't seek it out. People need to stop downplaying Itachi and denying the very clear speed feats of Totsuka. There is no room for interpretations here. The advantage of being an Uchiha, especially for Itachi and Madara, is that during an encounter against them, they always have a counter because of their unpredictable way of fighting factor, they don't run out of options or techniques, they almost always have a counter in their arsenal, even forbidden jutsus seems irrellevant against them, only a few Uchihas know a certain way to approach the situation with a certain and effective technique, that's why is hard/difficult to fight against them in my opinion. ☯️ 🤷🏻♂️ Here are the things that make Itachi so formidable. Tsukuyomi - A genjutsu so powerful that you literally can't escape it unless you have the same blood as Itachi, as stated by Itachi himself and proven later by Sasuke, or you're a jinchuriki. Jinchuriki are supposed to be immune to genjutsu but it hasn't been proven, but when Bee was fighting Edo Nagato and Itachi with Naruto, he said to watch out for Tsukuyomi explicitly. Literally 99% of all opponents fighting Itachi have no way of stopping Tsukuyomi. You could have the power to split the planet in half and it wouldn't matter. (Want to know why? - Kakashi pretty much state it in the actual anime and manga that Tsukuyomi it's such a dangerous Genjutsu Technique because it happen in a instant, even if you realize that you are trapped in the Tsukuyomi, it will be too late, because Itachi could approach you during that time in the real world (or he can use an Explosive Clone to approach you without you even realizing it in time and he can pretty much finish you before you can even realize, - 72 hours in Tsukuyomi realm means 1 second or a couple of seconds in the real world. Tsukuyomi can't be broken, when used to it's fullest.) The Sword of Totsuka and Yata Mirror - The Susanoo itself is a near invincible defense but these two weapons take it to the next step. The Sword of Totsuka can seal "anything" if it even touches it. It's completely OP. It's hard to fight a guy that can seal you away if his sword even touches you. The Yata Mirror is even a bigger deal in my opinion. It doesn't block attacks, it's "negates" them. You could throw an Amaterasu covered Bijuu bomb at Itachi and the Yata mirror will negate it, making it so the Susanoo doesn't even need to take a blow. You could punch the Yata mirror and the force will completely be negated. His biggest strength of all: tactical intelligence - Itachi always outsmarts and plans for everything because the plot demands it. You're physically strong? Itachi is already 2 steps ahead of you knowing exactly what to do. You're extremely fast? Again, 2 steps. You're going to try and outlast Itachi in a fight? Good luck. To add to this, some of the 3 most powerful techniques in the verse are due to his intelligence and planning ability; Izanami, Izanagi, and Kotoamatsukami. Izanami - A forbbiden genjutsu technique that allows you to alter someone's destiny. Impossible to break out of even if you know you're in a genjutsu without complying with the users set destiny for you. Even someone like Bee, a perfect Jinchuriki, can't escape Izanami unless he does what Itachi wants him to. Izanagi - You somehow gained an advantage over Itachi? He makes it so that advantage never happened. Kotoamatsukami - Though Shisui's technique, Itachi has his eye which effectively makes it his weapon. A genjutsu so powerful that the person it's cast on doesn't even know they're under a genjutsu. Like the Tsukuyomi, completely OP. To add to all of this, Itachi is pretty good at hand to hand combat (his Taijutsu it's exceptional and underrated), is great with shuriken, is extremely fast, is great with regular fire techniques, is slippery and unpredictable, and has the extremely dangerous and fast Genjutsu style of fighting approach that can caught you off guard almost at any time. With all of these things considered you've got one dangerous ninja. Lastly but not least Kishimoto made sure that Itachi was seen as someone special and he did an incredible job in establishing that in the story. When Itachi Uchiha awakened his Susano'o, he was seen wielding legendary weapons of the Totsuka Blade and the Yata Mirror. The former allowed Itachi to seal anyone he pierced in a world of genjutsu forever, while the latter gave him the ability to deflect any and all attacks thrown towards him, regardless of whether they were physical or spiritual in nature. According to Zetsu (who was around since the period of Kaguya time era until the present of Naruto) he state it in the anime and also in the manga that these weapons, when combined with his Susano'o, made Itachi Invincible. This is why Kishimoto basically had to give him a handicap: Naruto AIDS. 🤷🏻♂️ ☯️

im one of the people that use novels feats seeing as they are cannon. I see potential win cons for itachi against kakashi however there are a lot of thing to take account for. like the fact the tsukuyomi requires eye contact and it requires itachi to have superior chakra control than his victim. kakashi has far superior chakra control so there would be no way for itachi to control the flow of chakra inside kakashis brain. even jiraya states this twice.
all if itachis other attack are to slow seeing as kakashi is faster than base koji who is faster than delta who is relative to supressed kcm 2 six paths naruto . who is obviously faster than base naruto who is faster than or relative to kaguya. fire mist jutsu has country level ap/ dc and overcame hagoromos chakra so i dont really see itachis surviving this . kakashis can also just outlast. i think he takes it 8 or 9 times out of 10.

We know that Hiruzen even just a few years younger is stronger than the Sanin by a good margin. Tsunade didn’t break Sasuke and Kakashi out of Tsukuyomi, Sasuke’s lasted 24h hours and Kakashi 72h mentally, but at the end of their fights they were out of the Genjutsu and were able to communicate with people, what she did was heal the phisical and mental toll the genjutsu had on their bodies. Tsunade being immune to genjutsu is one of the stupidest headcanon I have ever seen

Itachi in character goes for genjutsu off rip, we only see Tsunade using her advanced healing techniques when she really needs to. That being said it’s more than likely Itachi lands a genjutsu then Tsunade can activate her seal. And even if she could resist basic sharingan genjutsu, amaterasu because of the nature of how it operates would essentially force Tsunade’s seal to enter an “overdrive” state. It’d use up too quickly and the fight would be history at that point.

Now that I've watched the video, I agree that Hashirama can maintain the distance to keep that from being an issue.
Couldn't Minato just teleport from the flames. I mean Obito had him in Kamui but he just teleported away and nullified the effects. I don't think Amaterasu will travel with him in the dimension void he uses Hiraishin with. Plus Minato reaction time is good enough that he'll only take supplemental damage from the flames before he teleported away.
i would say minato is fast, but it only takes one glance at Itachi's eyes, since he's proficient and fast enough to put many in a genjutsu before they even notice.

And what use is Minato's marking against clones? Speaking of, crow clones use less chakra than normal clones. The guy with the most battle IQ running out of chakra first is a contradiction.
Btw, Itachi has better blindside feats than Minato. And he doesn't even need FTG to accomplish. To answer the age-old question of how fast is Itachi? He's perception-blitzingly fast. He even managed to perception blitz an EMS user and perfect sage. What more do you want?

Yall are saying Tsunade can't hit itachi but she hit madara unassisted with his ems while he's attempting to dodge her punch and got blown up for it. She's fast enough to pressure itachi and keep him on his toes. Madara could react and block V2 Ay's speed before being amped by ohnoki.
For amaterasu, Tsunade can remove the uppermost layer of her skin to nullify the technique, she can use a chakra shroud like naruto did to remove amaterasu like he did vs sasuke. Thanks to the byakugou seal her and Sakura are the two most resistant to genjutsu as they are most in tune with their chakra flow. Add katsuyu to this and she's just going to be almost immune to genjutsu, katsuyu can remove amaterasu from Tsunade's body and herself, she's fireproof so reg firestyle won't work on her, her acid can oneshot itachi and can affect yata mirror as its sage energy and natural acid as well as the most acidic based attack in the verse. Katsuyu can split apart on a whim to avoid being sealed or reshape her body to dodge attacks as she can liquefy herself. Tsunade can also dodge thanks to her evasion prowess that she taught sakura. Tsunade has body pathway derangement which is game over for itachi as they will engage into h2h.
You're saying Tsunade doesn't have an long ranged attacks but she does as just being in the aoe of her attacks can kill or seriously injure you she can easily replicate war arc Sakura's punch. She can also deflect itachi's long ranged ninjutsu back at him with her chakra shroud deflection and coupled with her strength it would be moving back to itachi at quite the speed. She tanked madara's magatama beads point blank without damage so itachi's ain't doing anything. Itachi doesn't have the reserves, endurance, durability or stamina to keep up with Tsunade. Tsunade could also just break the sword with her chakra enhanced strength as her fists are coated with chakra and not physically/directly touching the sword. The only way I see Tsunade losing is if she decides to tank a hit from the blade and play possum like she did vs madara and then tries to break the sword before she's sealed but its a sealing jutsu but also a sword at the same time😅. She has broken all versions of madara's susanoo swords except perfect susanoo.
Then again, before being sealed, a katsuyu clone can always reverse summon tsunade to its location on the battlefield so 🤷♂️

Itachi was able to counter Sasuke who summoned his Kunai. He has shown that he could easily counter Minato’s Shuriken with his own Shurikenjutsu without needing to expend chakra. This would also give Itachi a clear viewsight of where Minato is plotting on attacking him from. Itachi also has multiple ways of placing someone under Genjutsu outside his Sharingan and both he and Minato are skilled Shadow Clone Users. Itachi could also one shot Minato who has no knowledge of Tsukuyomi. I think they are equal and comparable.

Itachi’s Kunai/Shuriken skills can deflect Minato’s ftg Kunai’s.
Base to base Itachi is relative to Minato in speed.
Minato also has to watch out for genjutsu/Tsukiyomi and Amaterasu.
Furthermore Minato can’t break Itachi’s Susano and Minato has to watch out for the Totsuka blade and Yasaka beads.
I like Minato and he is strong, but I think Minato would be overwhelmed especially with them having similar BIQ.
