Made me realize how alike Burr and Javert are! Both stick to a moral/life code that society theoretically approves of, but they keep getting bested by the guy who runs outside of those constructs, then they meet their doom when they realize the futility of their current path and learn to see things from their adversary's point of view.
In the cast descriptions, Burr's described as 'Javert meets Mos Def' so it was probably intentional, and probably the _reason_ for this particular Ham4Ham.
Oh, wow, thanks! I do know that Lin really loves Les Mis so I kind of wondered if Javert was an inspiration, but it's nice to know for sure.
Javert has beliefs though... Burr has none.

Okay the interactions between the Les Miz cast and the Hamilton cast are my favorite thing ever. I mean, they've done Ham4Hams together, this piece of perfection, and then of course they go bowling together.
Apparently one time in the alley they ran into Aladdin whooping Fiddler's ass.

Leslie Odom Jr is a amazing singer! I am so glad that Hamilton allowed people to find him. He has such a strong yet soft/reverent way of singing, it's wonderful.

So intense & amazing. Who assembled these incredibly talented people? This is like The Avengers of Broadway. I'm so impressed by it all.
