o_O _HOLY_ *SHIT* O_O Where do I buy this amazing anti wire-gape-or-break-tape? This would have saved me so many headaches back in the day, it is just ridiculous and it bogles my mind to think about it! 🤤🤤 How would I get my hands on a roll of this stuff if I were to live in the Netherlands? I mean like, I have to get my hands on some of this stuff, because this incredible Heat-o-Magic invention of yours almost seems like magic! Is it really as strong, durable, and easy to apply as it seems? And does the utilized cold-acting adhesive really retain its sticking power all the way through the heat shrinking process? I made you guys a very, very bad beat, but I spent some time on it so I didn't want to just throw it away and waste it. If you guys actually do end up using some material from my comment, even if just a small part of it, please consider compensating me for this! 🥺 Please think about tossing me some money, or if that isn't a possibility perhaps you guys could spare some free samples from your product range? Either one of those would be incredibly greatly appreciated 👍☺️ I realize it is very doubtful any of this'll ever happen 🤣, I know, but still, it can't hurt to add this disclaimer just in case some random stroke of genius hit my brain tonight or something 🤓 Okay, here goes, here comes the beat. Please don't laugh, okay? 🤣
Just Prep-n-Wrap, then Hold-n-Heat and before you know it, its good as this beat!
Thanks for reading my message, kind stranger! ☺️ I hope you have an awesome and very happy holiday season and a great 2022!!!! 👍🤓 And just in case, you guys can reach me via either responding to my comment, or if this comment is over a year old, you can reach me at the email address listed on my RUclips profile page, or at utubez_shrinktape_replies_20211224(at)rick-soft(dot)com 😉 (please replace (at) with @ and (dot) with an actual dot --- and yes, that is an actual, real email address and I will for sure, with 100% certainty, receive any and all emails sent to it! (unless they go into my spam folder of course, but anyhow, technically I'd still have 'received' that email 😉) [⚡nerd power intensifies⚡ 🤓🤓🙌]

I use a lighter to shrink the regular heat shrink. Would it be ok to still use the lighter on this?

Hello there. Although not recommended, if properly installed yes a lighter would help shrink the product. The reason why we typically do not recommend a lighter with the Shrink-N-Repair products is that if not done properly the wires behind the protective covering may melt or create soot on your wire.

I also use a lighter. Always have. That being the biggest drawback would be the occasional soot stains it'll will leave on the shrink wrap. So if it's for something that's meant to be seen (like my PC wiring) I try to go very smooth and methodical. Also if you're new to using shrink wrap id recommend not using a lighter as it's very difficult to control heat spots, etc. Like the comment above.
