A dream set for me... top to bottom. I've been chasing an Amazing Grace & a Paul & Silas for some time now, my first show being Summer 2011!! So so cool.. & the encore songs were the first & last songs from my first show at Camden in 2011.. pretty neat!
they were razor sharp back then when it came to playing live..............im so glad I got to see them during this era of the band...........I would take 1 show from '93 over all 4 shows at the sphere...............
Great Bag,Stash & YEM. We did the 3 n-west shows from Van to Seattle to Portland and it is one of my favorite mini runs of my life. Vancouver has to be officially released, it's so 🔥. Also the 2nd set Portland was very intense with some very electrified paper given out to anyone who wanted to trip before showtime. Bobby Vega was at the show which was cool. Go hunt down those 3 pacific northwest shows' SBDs immediately. They are around and need more hype. ✌
Back in 93 when we went to shows way more than half the crowds at venues like this were first timers. Love watching the old shit. People left the gigs with minds blown. My hobby was giving out Phish bootleg tapes EVERYWHERE I went. This was when Trey played with a chip on his shoulder.....something to prove. Those were the days. Ahhhh
He's a local NWmusician from Seattle area. very eclectic and beloved by the faerie community. A staple of the iconic Oregon Country Fair. I notice he hasn't played since 2018, so not sure what's up w/ that. Look up his Palindrome song, it's amazing. I attended the Portland show after this one where they actually played one of his songs "Bats & Mice" together.
I just realized part of the vocal jam is the same vocal jam from the Baby Gramps song played the next night - so I assume either he threw it out at them unexpectedly or perhaps it was planned as a sort of rehearsal for the next night.

One of my fav Phish years... just on a level above. Trey's fingers were on fire! That Possum, wicked! Good times!
he just rips that guitat in '93/'94! Holy f&(k! Foam for gods sake!
Thanks for this!
My first Phish show. They used to tour on the west coast twice a year in the 20th century.
I love Trey's quote in Daniel at 12:25: "We've only got 2 gigs left on this tour after this, and so we're gonna kick ass tonight. Thank you."
Said and done.
...and then they play Sample lol
Yeah, and sample rips. Don’t lie. 🤷🏻♂️
@@darwinblinks Sample is a fucking rock anthem and it's incredible.

My first show! Thanks, guys!!!
Mine too!
Best Foam ever
Props on the sound editing for the acoustic stuff! I was ready to go for a volume dive at the end of those songs, but you got that handled already 👍👍
Love Trey's hightops

That yem is no joke
Some spooky vocal jam after Trey shreds the skin off his fingertips
indeed... gets deep it's like funkadelic meets nirvana for a minute there
Summer 1993 Phish 🔥
You want my old Phish back.

Don’t need dinner for this movie

Holy shitballs
Um, POSSUM?!!?!?!?! Goddamn.
Was Trey pumping iron in that era? He's got muscles. :-)
Milk does a body good. #HOOD
Did treys guitar cut out for a minute around 28 minutes or was that a bit he was doing?
What's the story w/ Baby Gramps
