No need to take it too seriously, it is simple. Being paler is not superior, but some ppl wish to be is also fact, while some white ppl also wish vice-versa look darker by tanning their skin.

Am also an Indian but I stop travelling by train whether it be first class for many years now since it's very unsafe , crowded & unhygienic it is better we travel by flight if we can afford it.
I still remember when I was traveling from Jaipur to Ahemdabad in 1st tier train. There were three ajushis and they initiated talking first. It was really nice talking to them. They asked me about my profession and were impressed by the fact that I was a banker just like them. They were really talkative despite the fact they knew less English. Asked me that “How Indians are so great in English” and stuff!!! Offered me fruits and food but I was really reluctant at the end couldn’t deny anymore as it could be disrespectful then my family offered some snacks to them as well. This cultural encounter was something beautiful. I was even surprised when they asked for selfie with me and called me a pretty girl. One of them said I reminded him of his daughter. That was really touching. In the end they said namaste and parted their ways by stopping on Ajmer station. It was a really memorable moment. I guess they like to be respected that’s what I did. There are some “overexcited” people in India and they should respect other’s space. But hey we love our guests!!
I have visited India twice . It's a really beautiful country. I really love Indian food specially pav baji, , golgappa, chicken masala curry , nan , and panir tikka ( when I first saw panir I was thought that it's tofu 😂 ) . I wish to visit India again.

You should have taken the private class one. Tho it’s expensive but it has more safety and privacy. Not all trains provide food that run through out India. But yeah the thing others said was right, Indian trains are indeed very dangerous and crowded. Glad that you like our country! 💜
Am also an Indian but I stop travelling by train whether it be first class for many years now since it's very unsafe , crowded & unhygienic it is better we travel by flight if we can afford it.

I still remember when I was traveling from Jaipur to Ahemdabad in 1st tier train.
There were three ajushis and they initiated talking first. It was really nice talking to them. They asked me about my profession and were impressed by the fact that I was a banker just like them. They were really talkative despite the fact they knew less English. Asked me that “How Indians are so great in English” and stuff!!!
Offered me fruits and food but I was really reluctant at the end couldn’t deny anymore as it could be disrespectful then my family offered some snacks to them as well. This cultural encounter was something beautiful. I was even surprised when they asked for selfie with me and called me a pretty girl. One of them said I reminded him of his daughter. That was really touching. In the end they said namaste and parted their ways by stopping on Ajmer station.
It was a really memorable moment.
I guess they like to be respected that’s what I did. There are some “overexcited” people in India and they should respect other’s space. But hey we love our guests!!
