Been to some great places there in southie, the only place ive been is barking crab. It was alright, but places like Capos, locos, stillwater, and the bakerys were amazing.
I have to agree with you after eating affordable seafood in the 1950's and 60's , ( $2.50 ) for a HADDOCK plate with fries and coleslaw. Now It's $25 and $30 for a lobster roll.
Durgin Park closed in 2019. Abe & Louis OG on Boylston Street in Back Bay (sadly think of Marathon bombing). You do have some very good suggestions though.
As a lifelong resident of Boston, Thank you for NOT saying Legal Seafood !!!! Legal Seafood is Beyond Overrated, overpriced and ONLY for tourists !!!!!!!
The best seafood restaurant in BOSTON was DINI'S sea grill on Tremont street one block from the STATE HOUSE. All the politicians ate there almost everyday...Peter Gilloni was the greeter and Jim Pioli was the chef. The food was spectacular and priced so everybody could afford it.....I'll be 90 next year.
Clearly have never been to Boston and just read a couple tourism articles. Of the list, Abe and Louie's + Capital Grille are pretty great if you have deep pockets.
Sorry, do you have taste buds? Union oyster house is not good, but it's interesting to look inside. During Park has been gone for years. All the others are just tourist traps, do if that's what you're looking for then by all means.

OMG Lifelong Boston resident, these are the BIGGEST tourist traps in Boston. There are way better restaurants than this list.
Tell me where please ?! 😂 I’ll be there in month or two never been nothing fancy but I want some good food. I’ll be in near Boston college
I see a lot of comments in here about places like these been tourist traps but no recommendations 👀

Lol.....Capital Grille is a chain, Abe & Louies is on Boylston St and is more of a steakhouse than anything else.
I love how the entire north end was kept a secret 🤫🤫🤫🇮🇹
Carmelina's :)
Mayor Wu saw to that

Thank you for sharing your experience.
Abe and Louie’s also isn’t on the water is on newbury st far from the water
I noticed that people from Boston are weird. They criticize the hosts restaurant choices but don’t tell people where they SHOULD be going
Durgin Park is no longer open.
Please take the capital Grille off the list. It’s in almost every city.
Top 10 but not one restaurant with Asian/Latin food. More like top 10 that serve seafood or steak.
Asian food in Asia 😂😂😂
