I don't understand. Why didn't hisoka fight and eager to fight illumi as he is obsessed with fighting strong opponent
I think hisoka is confident in defeating all of the hunters, they're strong enough to please him but not enough to beat him, illumi on the other hand is so strong that even hisoka ranked him as high as 95% so maybe he's just "saving the best for last" or maybe he simply doesn't wanna fight him bc illumi is the closest thing he ever had to a friend and doesn't wanna lose him, but the latter is unlikely since both of them are emotionless "or so how they've shown so far"
I think he just saw Chrollo first and decided that was the order he was going to fight them in.
I think it's because illumi helps him to fight stronger enemies as in lets him reach them not helps in the fight
We saw him planning to fight and kill killua and then get illumi to fight him for killing killua in the camera ant ark....
Illumi's fighting style is an assassin one , he must kill his opponent in the most fast an efficient way receiving the less ammount of collateral damage possible, a fight against him will not be a epic fight like chrollo vs hisoka , it will be an assassination act that will last a lapse of seconds .
