I find your observation of Nico's "old soul" spot-on Anwar! I am the test case-65 year old classic rock guy musical background; fallen in love with these two. I didn't realize that one of the reasons may be that especially Nico, but also Vinz are both "old school". I've heard that from my niece who teaches dance that she thought they had a striking old-school vibe about them.
But your point is perfectly taken-he exemplifies the old school in this duo, even more than Vinz.

Wild and crazy thought in my twisted mind. . .would love to see these two front a heavy metal song. Not likely, it seems, as the Scandinavian cultural pop-melodies, as you correctly pointed out, are a big part of their musical mix.
However, this live performance by Nico and Vinz of their song "Intrigued" is about as close to a heavy song you're going to hear from Nico and Vinz to-date.
Nico's the short one, Vinz is the tall one.
Dude, in regards to the clothing, they're Norwegian! Scandinavian culture! Likely going to be a lot more 'frumpy" than American dress.
