- salut les gars and welcome back to my channel !!
in today's video I get into detail about the application process for international students applying to study a first year bachelor in France.
if you are from one of the 46 countries included in the "Etudes en France" procedure, here is the link to the page where you will complete your application - www.campusfran...
here are the links to the DAP applications - drive.google.c... (blanc)
drive.google.c... (vert)
here is the link to the information sheet for the dossier blanc application -
AND finally the link regarding TUITION for 2021/22 - www.campusfran...
and my insta link if you're interested - / euro.aussie
ALSO I FORGOT TO MENTION!! - The reason there is only one box for your choice is because you need a separate application for each preference! Sorry ;)
Hey ! so this means for each university we want to apply in it we must fill out another DAP ( we have the right to choose till 3 universities ??)
@@chillwithmusic491 yep on page 2 in the second section it says you need to fill out a dossier for each preference ;)
@@euroaussiedoes it mean that we can write different motivations for each university, too?
Thank you for this video! It helped me when I applied.💌
Also, as a student that applied through DAP this year, I wanted to mention some things that might be helpful. When choosing the 3 options of universities, pay attention to the "taux d'accès à l'université", they show the statistics of how many people are accepted. If you want to study something more sélectif (as psychology in my case), make sure you put one choice with a bigger chance of acceptance. I didn't know about this and risked, finally got accepted just in one university out of three.
Good luck!!
if i may ask, what does "direct access" mean ? and how are things now ?
Bruv this was so helpful! I've had the DAP papers since February, but was so intimidated by them. Thanks a lot luv, really appreciate you making this video
It does thank you .. so are the courses in english? Or french ?
@@dinamarkos6263 I'm mainly applying to a uni in Pau and all the courses here are in French.
I did see an option for international courses in the university of Bordeaux, but idk much about that. Also I'm majoring in chemistry, so that's a factor as well. Here's the link for the uni of Bordeaux [ it's in french ]:
jechoisis.u-bordeaux.fr/Choisir/Sciences-et-technologies/Licence-Chimie
@@fekrytesfaye1058 so some level of french is needed to apply
glad it helped!!
with the courses it depends which course you're choosing, which establishment etc. however when I was applying, most courses at universities were in French
Thank you!! I was very lost.
no problem :)
THANK YOU SM!!! There’s literally no video that explains any of this. Going to apply this year and really nervous :’) Also, and this might sound very dumb, how long does it take to learn French at a B2 level?
you're welcome! I'm glad it helped :) I learnt for 4 years during high school but my level didn't really pick up till I really dedicated time and effort. The more motivated and dedicated you are the faster you can reach the level. I got a B2 in German after 1.5 years of really pushing but you could easily get it faster. Hope that helps!
@@euroaussie same! I had French for 5 years in high school but I’m at A2 level at the best. I watched your video about learning French and I’ve changed my phone’s language to French now!
oh my god thank you so much!! I've been so confused
no problem :)
This is helpful, do you have any information on how to register the DAP vert.
+1
Thanks for the content. I find that 4 lines is quite a small amount to respond to the motivation questions. Is it possible to add a CV and a separate motivation letter?
yep it's even written
Hey where do I send the dap online or copy it and how do I send the document
You didn't do the research in the correct way there are a lot of mistake on the part when u start talking of how to fill this dossier blanc (( we have 3 choices each one in one dossier blanc formulaire not all in one )) you said the inverse of that and it's mention on the notice be careful guys and about your documents I guess u need to printed 3 times and send all of them
yes you're right! I pinned my comment correcting myself...I didn't realise they changed it since the year I applied :/
Hello this is really useful thank you so much! I just have one question which is on page 5 the second question of vos motivations "si vous changez d'orientation, donnez les raisons de ce changement" now here are they asking whether I'm changing my feild of studies right now or if I change my feild of studies in future so I should provide reasons for that?
How long will it take the French ambassador to send the DAP document?
Hi ! Thanks for this very helpful video :)
Do you have any idea if now people living in the UK have to apply through Etudes en France and not via the form you went through during the video ? Because this is what i can see on the website, thanks
Wait I finished my application 3 days before the deadline but it was suppose to be send by post one month earlier what do I do
Hi! I am a swiss citizen but my diploma is International GCSE and ALevel, would I have to do the DAP or the Parcoursup? Thank you!
as Switzerland is not apart of the EU or the EEA I'm not sure which one you'd have to fill out. Contact your French embassy and they will be able to give you a better response :)
Hey thanks a lot for this video, when you’re filling out your motivations, do you also have to fill out the second one “if you’re changing orientation, give the reason”, like are they talking about a hypothetical change or is this for people who are changing and therefore I should leave it empty?
I just had a look at my application and yes I just crossed that question out - pretty sure it's only for people that are actually changing orientation
@@euroaussie okay thanks a lot!!!! I dropped a like on your video and subscribed for having immensely helped me!!!!
@@alexnihha3557 aww!! glad I could help :)
Thank you, this video helped a lot!
But I still got 1 little question: What should I fill in the table in the 3rd section on page 4 if my case is B3 and if I do not have the university diploma yet?
hiii do you know the answer to this?
Hi. What if I am doing my French Course in my country but by the time the lessons start I will have my B2. But can’t have it by the time the applications are open. Can I still apply and explain my situation ?
Please I need help.. 😢 maybe someone to discuss the procedures with.
So if you’re applying for programs taught 100% in English you still have to take the DELF? And I believe the closest dates for the DELF in my state (Florida) is sometime in early December, would that cause a problem when sending the application and deadlines?
Do i have to apply on campus france first then apply to university?
can someone send link to the informaton sheet for dap documents procedure thanks
hi, do you need to type the document or hadn-written? and what if i'm applying to a course in english and won't need to do DALF?
as long as all the information is there I don't think it matters whether it's typed or hand written. I think everyone needs the language certificate anyway, even if the course is in English - but you could contact the embassy or the international office at the uni to be sure
And in section C when you’re filling out again the fiche-temoin do you also have to squeeze your three choices into the university and the mention or do I send out three different copies of the application form each with the different university,? Thanks a lot!!!!
Wow!! I completely forget to mention that part - it's changed since I applied two years ago! But yes you have to fill out an application for each choice and you have up to three :) hope that helps!
@@euroaussie thanks a lot Life saver!!!!!
I have a question; did you have to apply for the Formation Continue since you had a gap year? Or can you just enroll directly?
I just enrolled directly into first year :)
Can we fill three different universities in just one form or each university has it own form ?
a separate form for each uni
@@euroaussie thanks a lott 🤍 !!!
And how should we send it?
Everything is in french is there no English version? .. plus where exactly in the website is this form found coz I can’t find it
Unfortunately there is no English version. About the DAP form, here's a link to where i got it from. It's in pdf form in a small box to the right. Hope this helps!
www.enseignementsup-recherche.gouv.fr/cid24146/-dossier-vert-demande-prealable-a-une-inscription-en-premier-cycle.html
yeah like Fekry said - unfortunately there's no English version! :(
also, can i send it to embassy where i currently live but not a permanent citizen of?
if you are a resident of where you are living now I believe that you send it there but I can't say for sure - it would be best to contact the embassy directly
Please Do I have to have the diploma for the delf or just the result and how long does it take for the delf result to come out because I saw the result comes out first before the diploma can I apply with the result?
if you can wait until the diploma comes then send that, but you could probably send just the results - but you'd have to check. try contacting campus france ;)
@@euroaussie thank you!
Where is the Dap link
Does it have to be handwritten or can or be typed?
I would also like to onow
It doesn't specify but when I was accepted my application was hand written.
@@euroaussiehello can i know the education background needed to get accepted
Thx a lot, in section C for pays do we put France or what country do they mean?
For section C when you fill out the section "remplir par le candidat" you put the address where you live - so whichever country that may be ! :) hope that helps.
Do we really need to answer the motivation in french?
yes! the entire DAP application is to be in French :)
Hello Euroaussie, is there any way I can communicate with you?
you can send me a dm on instagram :)
@@euroaussie I just did, I hope we can talk soon :)
So i need to hire someone who speaks french to write my exams and write my application to be accepted
Thanks, but if France stay the last country in the world, i will never study there or even a visit 🤮
I'm sry but if i want to prepare or studying baccalauréat in france yk , so i've to go to parcoursup web site ?? , i've finished the high school in my country so what should i do , I'm confused 😅
I was so confused at first by the complicated process but THANKS TO YOU 😭🤍
