really good video . people hating on the "umm" s are just being mean . thanks for the info :)
It's not being mean, it's called criticism. I also found the video irritating to watch while having interest in the subject, so he should improve his speech to make the videos better and the content more easy/enjoyable to follow.
@@tomvandebroek2203 exactly. people who think criticism is hating are whinging little babys that dont understand reality. criticism is the way we learn. your feelings are YOURS dont tell us all about them, grow the fuck up. you are a whining baby just like all these uni students with no life experience telling everyone they know everything.
stop hating on him peolpe , lets all talk about our feelings. lets all whine about our feelings as a priority rather than focus on real things like function and working systems and ways to better each other. who would want that.... not those that control you thats for sure. they would prefer you all argue about your feelings. grow up bitch.
exactly what I wanted Thank you!
one more reason of using a shield is to prevent the backflow of current from motor as it can ruin the board
Ok, so what is the minimum voltage I can apply to the shield?
Bro till how much mah battery we can plug to motor driver shield bro can I use 4.2 v 6000 mah battery of 2psc is the motors works good bro plz give me a solution bro plzz
Thanks for the tutorial
Thanks for the video it very was helpful. I had a doubt, can we connect two DC motors and one servo to l293d motor driver?
Hello can you tell why power jack of aurduino doesnot work itried it from 5 to 12 vdc? Does not power the aurduino on!
@@Meganano thanks, but I fixed it long ago. That was my first arduino board and it was a bad board, that doesn't work and now I make arduino board for myself with atmega when I need one.
Can you drive two bi-polar stepper motors with one shield...
Can i power 4 DC motors with one motershield?
hello, I am an arduino beginner and I search a code for turn in one direction a motor with this card, coule you sens me this type of simple code please
Commentary is too jumpy and code poorly explained
Code plzzz
Hi guys! How many steppers can you put on this shield?
Wow this is really good 👍
Thank you for posting. Question...I have a similar Motor Shield but its not from Adafruit. Its from China. I bought it on Ebay. Since the motor shield is based on the same chip set, would the Adafruit libraries work with my motor shield? Thanks in advance.
nah i got difficulty
hard to search code example...
Getting a sub for this one
Can I connect a 7.2v battery with 6600mAh, for a drill motors? Doesn't afect the arduino or the shield that level of current?
I don't think you can...600mA...not 6600mAH...
You can, the mAh part is just the batteries capacity, bigger that is, the more juice it stores, longer it will last compared to a lesser mAh version!
it means 6 amps,
i used 1.2 amp battery and my mega burnt
Very nice! Bonus points for adding the p/n information and not adding any idiotic music. Thanks!!
can the motors be driven separately and what controls can be added to control their motion?
You talk about stacking as if that somehow expands the Arduino pinout: it doesn't. And this shield uses 4 pins per stepper, leaving only D2, D13 and the analogue pins unused. There's nothing left for any other function. A shield that uses a proper stepper driver requires only 2 pins (step and direction) per stepper, so it could drive twice as many steppers from the same number of Arduino pins, and if it only had two drivers per shield then one other shield could be stacked to get 4 drivers (but they usually come with 4 drivers per shield, so stacking is not needed).
Also, the shield has just one configurable component (a jumper) which is very important to get right, but you don't mention it!
Can l293d motor driver have pins which doesn't get placed on the breadboard
Thank you so much for Great explaination.
Can I connect 12 V 1200 rpm brushed motor with l293d and arduino uni as I want to replace normal dc gear motor with 12V 1200 rpm Brush motor ... please reply me
Thanks

please my IDE GIVES ME THIS ERROR "call to 'AF_DCMotor::AF_DCMotor(uint8_t, uint8_t)' uses the default argument for parameter 2, which is not yet defined
" EACH TIME I RUN THE "AF_DCMotor motor(4);" MY WEMOS D1 BOARD
please my IDE GIVES ME THIS ERROR "call to 'AF_DCMotor::AF_DCMotor(uint8_t, uint8_t)' uses the default argument for parameter 2, which is not yet defined
" EACH TIME I RUN THE "AF_DCMotor motor(4);"
I have a stepper motor that actually runs on 3.5V DC. could a motor shield run it, or would I have to use a 3.5V battery or what?
can't we just use jumper wires to connect only the required pins from shield to the arduino instead of mounting the whole shield over the arduino ???
man good um video up until ah i couldnt um take it anymore um and i had to umm ah turn it off.
lol u r so meaaan
liam no lmfao
can the motor driver control multiple number of motor that have different voltage rating?
If put 12v battery and two motors, what is the tension to each motor ? (sorry for my english) Thanks
can you demostrate this operation under STm32 and correct the 2 library files? please!
Really cool. But it is better if you provide codes in description and also use arduino ide in maximize mode.
dou you have with mblock programme with grove shield?
Why is it called a "shield"? It's basically an auxiliary board.
can we use the Arduino shield for motor control using fpga?
Oh, Can I put six stepper motors on this shield?
whenever i plug my motor shield to 4 dc motors no matter what frequency i use it keeps making a beeping noise
if I have a arduino mega and I put the shield on top of it, can I use the rest of the pins on the mega?
what is the breadboard for??
you didnt really really how to put the motor shield on arduino
hi great vid!! Could you please post the link, where to download motor shield library..thank you
what is ur power supply configuration? how much volts and amps?
Sir can I apply a higher than 12 voltage in motor shield ? like 40v, 20v can motor shield handle or I rather use relay shield? Sorry for wrong grammar
Good
Where to get this book?
Pretty basic video to be honest, got alot of that from the manual
code of this project
I was about to comment on the aaahs and mums, but I was beaten to it. Commentary seems to be on the fly rather than thought out beforehand.
Thanks a lot for the info
if you stop moving the part around, this video might be more enjoyable to watch.
don't you have a pause button?
Nice video but just for you to consider please reduce the um and aa
i shouldnt iram castillo
u couldnt keep watchin after the second clear throat
AAAH 110 TIMES
How many times are u going to say "ah..ah...ah"
thank you -clarified everything for me
Can u pls do a video on how to add the library for this motor shield
Akash Sunny // download it from adafruit, and add it like any other library in arduino IDE
can i use it to drone dinamo (tarantula x6 dinamo)?
motor driver
Great video !! can i control a synchronous AC motor (48v) with this shield ?
No I think you'd need some sort of transformer (DC - AC) for that.
is this motor shield can run 4 dc motors ? I do not quite understand that part
yes, 4 can cause you have 5 places on each end for total of 10. For dc motors, you have 2 wires, one for each place, and 4x2=8. You have 10, so yep it can do it. It cant do 5 because then it would have 1 wire on each end of the 5th motor, it has to be on same end for both wires on a motor.
Zzzzzz... is there any way to use 4 servos with this shield ?
Yes, read my comment in this comment thread.
What is it code?
I also have a same motor shield.
can we give 12v to this motor shield
Shubham Dhiman yes we can if its DC
You can give more than 12v but you need a higher capacitors, so just solder higher ones on.
um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um
DUCK TAPE you forgot ahhhhhhhh ahhhhhhh ahhhhhh
Came here to learn about Motor Shield. But I learned how to pronounce "Umm", "ah".
Found this difficult to watch, due to overuse of "um and ahh". Perhaps you could work from a script?
Really a shame, because You have a lot of knowledge worth sharing.
where's the code
in the video.
where can i geth the code for this
+Vaughn Doerr playground.arduino.cc/Main/AdafruitMotorShield
You need to download the library, as shown in the video
Thank uhh you for ahhh helping me. I umm appretiate amm it
You ahumm guys criticized him ahummm to the death))))) He ahumm stopped his video lessons. Ahumm what a pity!
what pins does the shield use to control the motors from Arduino. reply fast I want use other components also in my model...

no ise la tarea
like si estas de acuerdo
This was hard to watch. Hopfully you're not saying "ahhh" & "ummm" 100 times in all your vids.
video could have been 6 minutes without the 'um's "
STONEDay talking is hard keep up the good work, you'll get better! Thanks for the vid
this comment is so nasty and unnecessary, he is trying to educate people, teach the skills he has and make them accessible to others. get over yourself
