It might be possible. You need to get an Archmage with Twister on the rightmost spot on the right side - this way the Twister will actually hit that path and not the others. With a healthy dose of stalling, it might just be possible to kill more Bluegales on wave 10, and then you might be barely able to survive wave 15. Edit: I managed to beat wave 10 without losing lives, by using Ashbite. Wave 15 is so deadly, though.
I’ve seen someone beat this level! I don’t remember what difficulty or who did it or if they used that Statue to zap. I was on normal with no statue on IOS. But it may be possible with good micro and the right tower upgrades to kill Bluegales with Death Rider, and for tornadoes to stall everything long enough
Dante might be a decent hero for beating sunken citadel, his ability that removes an enemy’s resistances can be useful. With enough stalling and twister upgrades, you might be able to take out a few more bluegales

Imma say it, Archmage's AoE skill should be his default attacks. That way, it's justify it's slow firing rate. The upgrade should be focused on that (upgrading the tower range, the AoE range, and firing rate) instead of numbers and damages since what's the point of that if it all gonna be RNG based anyway?
I have more, quite possibly impossible challenge for you though. The KR with the most magic resistant enemies...KR Origins. Rules: Use only mage towers Towers only upgraded to level 3 Hero: Eridan, as he is quite possibly the worst mage hero in KRO Max difficulty Skill tree you're allowed to have max mage upgrades. However if you want it to be harder, you are only allowed to have it up to third upgrade, Crystal Gazing. The fourth upgrade gives you the chance of mages dealing triple damage, we dont want that to happen do we
Dang. Did you see my KRO solo magic challenges? I’ve done 3 so far: just LV3 mages, just high elven mage, and just wild magus. Search them on here! I may consider more, but it always boils down to just the last 2 levels in the campaign since there’s so many spiders, mostly Mactan’s Retreat, and they have high health and high magic resist
Impossible? Nah bro. I would have used Alric or Bruxa. They're very strong still. Even with no hero it's fine to beat it just magic. Necro and Arch combined do fine.

It’s rough. Maybe if you could use save states at wave 11 or later, then try different strategies. This level is hard enough normally.

Interesting. It’s already a good tower. I think it’s the first or second fastest boss killer, maybe. I’d like guaranteed AOE though
