You're not wrong for calling them K-pop, since they went through the idol system. It's just that they became so legendary they broke the "k-pop" barrier, which used to be a niche thing

@lisaloveshearts, yes LISA you can definitely say that EXO-Ls we’re always in competition once BTS started winning all of the big Prizes at the major Award Shows The MAMA and MMA’s!
I remember back in 2016 when BTS one “artist of the year “and EXO-Ls went absolutely ballistic!
I believe there was a fight outside of the show between Korean ARMYs & EXO-Ls?!
Sometimes what is so ridiculous is that if you go to RUclips reactors who react to K-pop and BTS is brought up to react to I always see 1 or 2 EXO-L and even BLACKPINK ‘s BLINKs, if something negative to say about BTS in the comment section!

23:56 let me also tell you, the year when they were not even given a waiting room was also the year they got their first Daesang as in the grand prize. that's how the show treated an artist that by that time was big enough to compete with the most popular kpop groups
but it was not brought up to attention, because it was everyone's attitude towards BTS at that time and before that
here's BTS memoirs book quoting V: "It's fine if other teams are named as candidates for the first place [instead of us]. We just need to work harder. But at the broadcasting stations, we'd always be the first to say hello and greet everyone, sunbaes (seniors) and hubaes (juniors) alike, but some people just ignored us and passed right by. Or mocked us for not even being candidates for the top place"

The 3 youngest were still in school at BTS debut. So the school boy trilogy made sense. They have also written songs about each stage of their lives as they pass through them. What this does not show was the injuries and illnesses caused by over work. RM is the leader his moving speeches were impactful. They wanted to derail BTS rapid rise to success. Most of the toxic commenters are not really fans. They have been doing that since the break wings project. At the Busan festival it was the event organisors posted that they were not performing. They told BTS as the cameras were not on BTS would not be paid. BTS performed for the fans anyway. Despite the danger of slipping on the confetti.
ARMY has organisations within the fandom, For instance lawyers, educators, translators. It wasnt just translators created the White Paper Project it was also historians teachers and proffessors and university students. ARMY is the right name for the fandom it is organised and quickly mobilises. Go to any concert and you will also find they are the kindest nicest most considerate fandom
Venues have remarked on how ARMY picks up their trash and the litter is markedly less after a BTS concerts. BTS created Weverse because they were not being treated fairly by Navers. UTube also wipes out half of BTS views

All the members receive so much hate for every single ridiculous reason, but I do think Namjoon is often the target, and besides the usual, I think he is specially hated by antis for two main reasons:
    1. When they debuted, he didn’t fit the ridiculous “beauty standards” of the idol industry, but my man is fine and more important, has a hella impressive personality that makes him the main character in every room, which must make antis foam at the mouth.
    2. He is BTS’ foundations. Not only he was the first member the group was built around, but he was also a big influence in their musical direction, to the point that tools he used to “educate” his members about music are now used by bighit for their trainees.
    3. He is the leader. The hate against BTS will naturally target him the hardest.
Having said that.: All the members receive a lot of hate, both from antis and solos. It really hurts, because they’ve always been nothing but sweet , kind and respectful.

So many questions to answer. The misogyny accusations is the song called the War of Hormones. Please check out the song it is so tame compared to western music. The fandom of EXO was brutal to BTS and army and the reason was because BigHit was not a part of the big3 music labels. They were prejudice because BTS came from a small company. K-pop fans in Korea are weird. They are loyal to label companies and any solos and groups coming out of that company. We armies are different as we are loyal to BTS and not the company. We want the company to do well because of BTS. The Big3 companies are SM, JYP and YG. Because of BTS BigHit/HYBE is now bigger and richer than all 3 companies combined. Kmedia has always been against BTS and still do. They are pissed that BTS grew worldwide and dominated to this day without following their rules and didn’t kiss their asses.

    • @FioMJ

Complementing is also about the money, and it happens in America as well. BTS never needed traditional media to rise, so media outlets such as radio and television have not obtained any earnings because of BTS. They even created their own shows to promote themselves and still have the power to decide which shows they attend.

Regardind the military subject; amrys were on the same same page as the boys. Every time media tried to take armys' interviews on the subject, most answered with "whatever bangtan chooses"or "no comment" , it was as if they were media trained😂
And the boys went out in style.
Their last ot7 concert( Yet To Come Busan) was held for the World Expo 2030 bid and many were saying that the boys agreed to it to encourage the military exemption discussions. Many important political figures were in the crowd.
The very next day , HYBE reports BTS will enlist starting that year. If you could see the chaos😂
Looking back it's funny, but it was such a smart move from them. Getting that exemption would have most likely put them at the beck&call of the government, as if they owed them something.

What made that show even funnier was the performance of “Cypher PT. 3: Killer” right to those politicians faces that I heard were front rows of that concert. Especially when BTS and Big Hit had to pay out of pocket to put on the concert while the government did jack ****.

Ugh, that concert was a hot mess when it came to the city, officials, politicians, original venue, security, infrastructure,..... You name it. I think Big Hit recognised the would be sh_tshow and who would've been blamed for it and that's why they paid for all the changes for a concert they'd already gifted the city *for free.* But to then see the set list consist of FU songs and songs about empowerment and them as a group and then Jin's enlistment notice the next day was just pure *chef's kiss.* So satisfying!

There is a term called BIG 3 in kpop which are basically three big companies - SM Ent, JYP Ent (where Stray kids are from) and YG Entertainment. These companies are known to have connections and influence over Korean media. Bighit entertainment achieved greater success than BIG 3 but their achievements were looked down upon because they didn't have the power like BIG 3 have. Now BTS built hybe, which has become even bigger than Big 3 but still doesn't have same influence like BIG 3 have.
If you look at the stats of BTS on any chart, you'll be shocked to see the gap between BTS and rest of kpop, they're the only artists capable of challenging mainstream artists.

The thing about the School Boy concept is that, for BTS -- their work was an honest reflection of a school boy experience and thoughts.
The outfits reflected the material they are singing about.
For other groups, the aesthetic is completely arbitrary -- just a trend to try on and move off of for the next look that has little to nothing to do with the music itself.

an important point to understand is that bts became popular overseas first and then sk followed, while in kpop sk market is targeted first. bts were not targeting western market really, but since their opportunities in the common media institutes used by kpop were limited, bts used internet to release content and connect with fans. no one in kpop was doing it before bts, it only became a standart after bts succeeded and won a billboard award for social activity. but because they were using internet as the main platform for promotion, in the early years bts were getting popular among international internet users, not kpop audience. so the sales and hype might have not been present in sk itself, that's why a lot of haters used it as a proof that bts were manipulating the charts, because they didnt see bts impacting the same market other groups do. but bts just had power in other countries and the sales were coming from all over the world

But luckily, the members have each other and ARMYs to lean on. I believe that this trajectory contributed profoundly to the construction and growth of what BTS is and everything it represents for us today. These boys are not perfect, nor do they pretend to be. The names of groups were censored but it's Exo, cannot stand them bc they've also looked down on bts PUBLICLY at an award show just because bts won over them before. Then their company, one of the big 3 threw a tantrum by not allowing their groups to attend the award show next year. People can't even say that one of the members weren't talking about bts when no other group from a non big 3 company won over them. A lot of the censored groups were Exo, Shinee, and Big Bang btw, their fans are constantly on bts, even to this day. (Less of shinee stans but they're just as awful). The phone call you were a bit confused about was an Exo stan which is why it was "*** Stan", they were the ones who send the petition to the blue house and were also the ones in the photo you saw about V's grandmother. This video stops with the hate from k-pop fandoms and companies. However, a whole other video could be made about the racism and disgusting behavior of the American media and music industry. BTS made it big in the US without all the tricks used to get ahead in the American music industry (payola, bundling, etc.). Interviewers, with a few exceptions, treat them like shit, the Grammys used BTS’s fame for views, Billboard plays with the algorithms to make BTS’s songs free fall. If the industry can’t make money off them, they will try everything to make them fail. But ARMY is strong and will not let them get away with anything. We may be toxic at times, but sometimes it’s necessary.

The part mentioned about the Japanese colonial era in Korea is referring to when Japan invaded Korea and perpetrated human rights violations against the Korean people. Korea sued Japan and won, so some Japanese were so angry about it that they took it out on BTS by not letting them perform using the t-shirt as an excuse.

As a baby ARMY I watched this video so I was aware to an extent of what BTS had gone through. But it really hit home to me when I was nerding out one day and researched early awards BTS did NOT win. In 2016 they were up against EXO (the group that was bleeped out in most of this video) for a Best Male Dance award. I expected to watch EXO’s MV and think the dancing was good but prefer BTS because I’m ARMY. But I was totally shocked; the EXO MV choreography was barely average. You hear that the Big 3 companies in South Korea had advantages but when you watch the MVs that were nominated side by side the corruption is crystal clear.
I do not wish to pick on EXO though. EXO and BTS get on great - with mutual respect as far as I can see. It’s the EXO fan base that has (yes, present tense) the problem with BTS’s success.
If you continue on this BTS journey you will see evidence of the attacks on BTS and understand why ARMY continues to be protective. Right now there are various twitter campaigns by antis, including recent rehashed plagiarism accounts- all whilst the 7 were still in the military so naturally ARMY had to rebuke these on BTS’s behalf

I actually like the song boy in luv. there was nothing misogynistic what you said was completely right. Crazy thing about this is BTS continuously apologizes for things that they shouldn't have to apologize for up until recently rm song groin is him after 10 years of being graceful and turning the other cheek to all the hate finally popping off with that song💜 girlll if you were mad now you should hear about what BTS and army are dealing with now thanks to a crazy ex executive of their company min hye jin launched a smear campaign against the BTS while they're in the military because she thinks if she can take BTS down she can take the company down and in the media of course has latched on reporting the bts is connected to a cult. Which is complete bulshit I say again

Also, I completely understand your frustration and anger while watching this video. I’m glad xCeleste made it. I became an ARMY just 3 yrs ago, and I was mad about all the stuff they went through that was shown in this video that I cried. But it made me appreciate them even more. As an Asian myself, I’ve gone through racism as well. These amazing men have comforted me through their music and after watching their show “Run BTS” made me realize that they’re so real and relatable. They are so inspiring and I’m so proud of them. 💜

Rise of Bangtan, RUclips Series does a really good job of taking you through what they went through while tying the music they were making to those times of hardship and hope, definitely don't miss Rise of Bangtan, especially if you are an RM stan, his speeches are incredible. that german host guy... he recieved a huge backlash. armys all over the world were bringing the issue about the racism towards asians, not only for the sake bts but in general too, because of the increased aggressions due to the pandemic
he and his company tried to apologise a few times stating that he "wasn't intending to be offensive" (yeah calling them "little pissers" and "blasphemy" on air is not offensive at all) and "attempted to express his feeling in an exaggerated manner that hurt the feeling of bts' fans". they claimed it was just a joke and never realized that jokes can be racist too and can have drastic consequences
they also never realised that it wasn't exactly about hurting armys feelings. we never made it about our feelings. we were fighting the blatant anti-asian internalised racism
with every attempt to save his image the guy was burring himself even further, saying he can't be called racist because he uses a korean car (it was japanese but it doesn't even matter, how a car can be compared to the respect towards a nation), saying he just underestimated armys power along the way calling us "fanatical followers of a musical cash machine" that "distorted his statements" by the "currently very popular racist stick". it was a mess. a mess that perfectly shows you what kind of environment bts and army have to deal with regularly
an interesting info from the Weverse publishing: "BTS’s latest collab “My Universe,” was made through a kind of understanding between the group and Coldplay. The collab itself had been under consideration much earlier, but Coldplay’s name came up when a German DJ made racist remarks about BTS in early 2021 while preparations were being made. Both BTS and Coldplay clearly opposed the idea of racism. Consequently, this social awareness found its way into the final product when it was eventually released, making the collaboration about more than just the song itself."
and the lines from the song are "they said we can't be together because we come from different sides"

***Stan refers to the other 3 letter group fan... so fan (stan) of *** Army don't bother going into the details of the others... as we've explained below... (the page on the hate that Tae rec'd when his grandmother passed though, clearly shows the name of the other group for those who may or may not be interested..... Let me be clear also... it was the fandoms mainly... not the members of the other groups... ) And yes... Army wrote that 166 historical paper to support and defend BTS... antis used Jimin's Tshirt as ammunition to spread some more hate about them... it's ongoing.. .but don't take Army on... we normally win with facts and common sense.... On the military change... other fandoms were annoyed because BTS got the extension from age 28 until age 30 due to being recipients of the Cultural Medal... there was not and has not ever been anything stopping those other groups or artists from attaining the medal themselves... all they needed to do was put in as much effort and civil/community service as BTS has.... to sit back and complain because you're not eligible for it but not do anything to prove you're worthy of winning it just doesn't make sense to me.

government was holding enlistment over bts' heads for years, "discussing" if they deserved to be exempted or not. but the truth is that they use it as a power play. if bts were exempt i think they would've still enlisted on thier own accord just so they wouldn't owe anything to the military ministry. in the last months before bts announced their decision to enlist the government was preparing a bid that would allow (make) bts take days out of their serving duty to keep practicing, attending different shows and hold concerts. basically, the government wanted bts to do both at the same time, which is a huge concern about overworking the boys. all because they were scared the soft power of SK would go down with BTS not present in the scene. but they didn't actually want to exempt bts because it would've became a precedent for more music artists to demand exemption. and also bts serving is a free military ad for sk citizens aka "look even bts are enlisting"

They know ARMY always has their back, and they also know the struggles ARMY goes through because of all the love and support we show to them. theyre literally not. koreans were saying it just yesterday that bts isnt kpop and theyre above kpop. idol doesnt = kpop. kpop is a western term that has been misconstrued by english speakers especially english media.
kpop has never been a genre its a industry but bts always had 1 foot in and 1 foot out of being idols and as of 2018ish they took the other foot out. they still are proud of being a idol but they also dont like its limitations and dont wanna be called one at the same time. idol came out 2018. dionysus came out 2019 "born as a idol reincarnated artist". i think ppl need to actually listen to what bts say because they are allowed to change their minds, theyre allowed to mentor and help their countries artists theyre allowed to be proud of being a idol while also not wanting to be called one. and not wanting to be limited to the idol box. theyre allowed to get angry and upset at being looked down on for being idols and not wanting to be called idols while also getting angry at non koreans speaking badly on idols and korea. its like the i can laugh at you but no one else can type of relationship they have with the idol identity and label. they dont mind it when its positive but if someone uses it in a negative way to diminish them they will remind people theyre not the typical idol.
its nuanced and people should listen to what they and other koreans say about it not about what they are seen as according to google or western/english media calls them.
if they truly liked being called idols why would they have other songs lyrics and interviews where they say the opposite like the members saying its not kpop its bts-pop. and koreans agreeing. two things can be true at once and everyone always yells at us when we say theyre more than kpop when they literally are. theyve always had 1 foot out of the industry. and its the reason how they went farther than every group before them.

Big Hit was near bankruptcy at their start and BTS almost didn't get a chance to debut at all because of lack funds. The group was actually basically disbanded in 2013 for that reason and they were asked to vacate their dorm. But the Rap Line refused to leave the dorm because they had nowhere to go and stayed for like a month. Fortunately, Big Hit had a last minute investment and BTS was able to return to their dorm and prepare to debut
About the bad articles you've seen recently, they just went through another smear campaign at the start of 2024 in South Korea. Those smear campaigns' only goal is to throw a bunch of accusations, bombarding the media to damage an artist's image in the general public's eyes. No matter if those are baseless accusations, this does a lot of damage and it's extremely taxing on the artists. It also conveniently happened in the small window of time where all the members were away for their military service, before Jin came back. And the media is controlled by the Big 3 (SM, YG and JYP). This isn't the first smear campaign against them and it sadly won't be the last...
Oh, trust us, people can actually be bold enough to copy almost exactly what another group did. It happened a lot after BTS' global rise, for example - everyone was copying them (not plagiarism but it was very obviously inspired sometimes). Although, all the accusations against BTS were ridiculous and childish. They won all their cases when they went to court over those same accusations
The alleged misogynistic lyrics were mostly from 'Boy in Luv' and 'War of Hormones'. Most of the "problematic" lyrics were either mistranslations or not bad per say. In 'War of Hormones', they deliberately used words that described teenagers and young adult men's feelings toward women. The MV was even completely unserious and overexaggerated on purpose. So, yes, it was exactly that. It was not misogynistic, just honest. If girls had done the exact same toward men, they wouldn't have had any problem. And I never saw any of those "misogynistic tweets"
Clarification: they are K-pop but they go beyond K-pop. There's a lot of history between K-poppies (≠ from K-pop fans, K-poppies are entitled K-pop BTS Antis) and ARMY. K-poppies have for a long time tried to ostracise BTS and ARMY from the K-pop scene so some ARMYs don't like to be associated with K-pop at all. And because they are always put in the "K-pop" categories in West when they should compete with global artists. They also suffered a lot from K-pop's prejudices. All those things contributed to some ARMYs reluctance to label them as K-pop
Antis is the name of haters in general. Not just people who dislike an artist but those who go out of their way to hate them
Unfortunately, there are still a lot of fandoms who team up to bully BTS and ARMY. There's an on-going series called 'Karma is an ARMY' which really fun to watch but also quite infuriating. Recently, some fandoms teamed-up to vote against JK for 'Seven'. Those people hate BTS and wish to see them lose more than they want to see their own favs have recognition. They refrain from voting for their own favorites to vote for the second option just to try and beat BTS. It's quite pathetic from those people and sad for artists who end with less 5% of the votes just because their fans wanted BTS to lose more than support them
BTS, since their debut, has always been shunned by the K-pop Industry because they come from a small label. The Big 3 controls the media in South Korea. They created an environment where only their artists can compete for the top spot. But BTS started competing and winning over their artists no matter how much they tried to shut them down and ended up completely out of reach for everyone else. The Industry has always seen BTS as a problem and not only in Korea. Watch 'Why the Industry is terrified of BTS' to understand more
The event about V's grandmother passing is honestly so disgusting. I don't understand how some people can look at themselves in a mirror after mocking someone in such a vulnerable moment of their life
The reporter who asked about plagiarism accusations came from another label's news website. They sent him to put the group in trouble if they had lost their temper or responded something that could have been twisted. Fortunately, they all are trained and Yoongi answered in the best possible way
The problem with MBC is that they gave more attention to NBC's program instead of MBC's so they got petty. FYI, even if they officially "made peace" with HYBE, MBC is still being petty toward BTS specifically. NBC gave more coverage and reach to BTS and it was a unique experience for them. They seemed so excited to be there! Unfortunately, it got ruined a bit by the rude and hypocrite host of NBC's program in the end...
Ok, so, the Big 3 created an environment where only their groups are allowed to compete for the top and exclude other artist from the media so only their groups get the most media coverage - BTS was not different. But they decided to promote outside of the traditional media outlets. They used RUclips and promoted a lot in other Est Asian countries. It gave them a more international audience. That's part of why Koreans were surprised of their "sudden" climb to the top. The Korean media didn't report about their accomplishments at all and they "suddenly" started to win over the top groups in South Korea. Their growth was never inorganic or sudden, even in the US but the media refused to give them attention to lessen their credibility and reach. The Industry (International and Korean) are salty because BTS actually makes money from their music and don't give them any of it
It was so funny that they tried to use BTS' name to get a revision but the government said: "Yes, you're quite right. BTS does bring a lot of money to the country. Let's f* you all over and make a new law where only them qualify!" 😂 They never intended not to go anyway 😌💜

Some great "rage" or maybe rather "outrage" songs from them would be Ugh! (requires the explanation video by DKDKTV), Not Today (inspired by a quote by Martin Luther King Junior), We On, Baepsae (requires the explanation video by DKDKTV) and in a more subtle way Spring Day (requires the explanation video by Italian ARMY, linked below).
Spring Day is also called "The Queen" because it's been on the South Korean Gaon chart non-stop for seven years so far, the longest for any song in the history of the chart. It's possibly one of their most important songs politically speaking as well. Trigger warning for that one though as it deals with a national tragedy involving kids and you *will* be needing tissues. 😢

The burger incident is sad since Jungkook was just a kid. He was only 19....first time in a show without his older brothers aka the members and they took advantage of that as well as their lack of clout.

The hate they continue to receive to this day is insane. I truly don't know how they do it (keep going & push through the hate). They get it from ALL sides. I'm just so grateful that they have each other.

17:51 They are part of the kpop industry, but armys refer to them more towards pop music than idol music (a more correct term for K-pop, since K-pop is not a genre), so when army talks about BTS not being K-pop is a matter of details commonly known by armys, for example, they didn't come from Big3, they had much more artistic freedom with their work than any other idol group, they write their own lyrics and leave their work grow naturally, without much influence from the company, without jumping from one concept to another without reason (they are artists before idols), they do not have a musical focus in the way that is generally seen in K-pop (edm, dubsted, or the infamous noise music), and saying this sometimes creates confusion with both armys and other fandoms, because it is still taboo to say that they are not kpop, so, you understand, among armys, we get used to recognizing this difference, but outside of our line, in the media, and among multifandoms, you will commonly see them referred to as kpop

Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. Love ur energy. My fav reactor Caitlin Benson got similar vibes but she still learning to ignore the haters. I am glad u pay them no mind. Love your eyeliner. It's so cool. Rosan(xCeleste) does a good job with this summary. She is a 2014 army. I hope she updates this video or does a part 2. Not pleasant info to hear but I don't want to run away from things that make BTS who they are today. I was really taken aback by 1st listen/watch as baby army. And u know the USA media do the same thing. They barely talk about BTS. They make u think oh this music is for young girls. This will not be my thing. But that is so wrong. I ignored BTS for years. It makes no sense. I love anime and am a big otaku. I like Asian fashion and food. Why would i ignore BTS? I am still mystified years later. Appreciate your honesty. Liked your passion too. Really happy to be your sub. Love hearing ur thoughts. A few months ago i watched the full video of that doc explaining BTS and the white paper project. Army is truly amazing. BTS are BTS genre as we like to say. If that helps. =0] That same host actually is Suga's friend. He apologised to them. It was a misunderstanding. He thought BTS were nasty ppl but they not. He was a baka but he was forgiven. Anties are used for all haters. But there are also solo's who are bad news and sasaengs(stalkers). The festival thing was due to the contract. The contract said all members had to be there. So it was just bad timing. Peachy the shirt did not cause an issue. Japan just used the shirt and BTS as scapegoats for their anger at losing money in court. The reporter was hired by another enternaimnet company to cause issues for BTS. Netizens means citizens of Korea. Like regular ppl. So the more guides u watch and the documentaries the more u will understand that before BTS SK artists gave up any hope to get into USA markets. Everyone knew it was not possible. What BTS and army did was show that it was possible and if BTS can do it so can others. Stray Kids are doing very well in USA and growing steadily. So are some other groups. BTS paved the way. BTS = Bangtan Seoyeondan (in Korean) aka Bulletproof Boy Scouts (translated). Next BTS reaction - Your Eyes Tell, Mic Drop ft. Steve Aoki, Fake Love, DNA, Boy with Luv ft. Halsey, Black Swan, ON: Kinetic Manifesto film, Fire, Not Today, Save Me, Blood Sweat & Tears, Dope, Airplane pty.2, etc. I guess u should also watch Who Is BTS, This Is BTS: Introduction (part 1), BTS contribution to music, BTS from nobodies to legend 2019. "The Most Beautiful Life Goes On: A Story of BTS" 2022 by Rice Squad, A LONG AND HELPFUL GUIDE TO BTS (2024) by Purple Snow. If u want to know them more :) Hugs. -NY USA 2019 Army💟
P.S. I would pay attention to that military law because SKs have to enlist as well. All Korean born men have to do army, or navy, etc. If they fail the physical test than they got to do civil service for 21 months. Ouch. Navy is 21 months too. Army is 18 months.

when it comes to that performance bts did at the festival in 2016 when RM was injured but they still performed with no cameras rolling, confetti on the ground (which was dangerous to dance on) and bare minimum lighting because the festival wouldn't let them back into the regular lineup, it's a part of army lore at this point. armys who were there were furious at the festival organizers and refused to leave the venue. bts themselves wanted to perform and finally managed to convince the people in charge to let them do their small 3 song set (fire, save me, dope) which you can find fancams of on youtube. a small detail you will spot is that many people said you could visibly see jimin was still irked by what happened and he danced more aggressively than usual. it was pure sabotage. and you can see there were many armys there so it made no sense to dump them from the lineup because they got more hyped than some of the big company acts who were in the regular lineup. 2016 was the year bts slowly started dominating the industry and kpop companies who were at the top did everything in their power to derail them even more than before. luckily, bts and armys persevered. but we still do get bs situations like this, just less overt than this one.

38:25 The thing is (if I remember correctly) BTS are the youngest people to ever get this award, everyone else was over 30, so them saying other artists need to get at least recommend for it before they turn 30 was a huge slap in their faces. Also these other agencies used BTS as example for exemption/postponement and with that acknowledged their success. But when this new "BTS law" was introduce's they whined because their own artists aren't even remotely close to have what BTS has so there is no way they would get exempted.
