You did your job, now it's our time to repay you. I've been following your dozer videos for a long time slowly building mine. Took it to work the other day. The guys went crazy lol
Dave Dollars hahahaha that's awesome! Thanks for your support. I never got it right the first time and had to learn trial and error. My backyard is too nice to dig up and I'm not in the country like I was before. One day in the next two years I plan on moving out to the country and get back into the dirt.
A big thumbs up from Perth Western Australia !! Very impressed bud and always enjoy all of your videos , as you had inspired myself to make a 1/8 dozer all from scratch and now in the process of making a 1/14 scale Cat 993 loader .. Good luck and good health to you my friend .. Cheers ,, from down under . Good on ya mate .!!!
mark barnett thanks for the generous comments, much appreciated! There is so much more parts out there these days to choose from. Good luck with your build. I subscribed to your channel in hopes I can follow along.
Not much left for the dozer to do. Hey take a look at my dozer if you want. Still need to do body work. Works though, my tracks clog with snow and mud, Then the chain gets to tight and stops the dozer.
Dave Dollars absolutely you could! A small weed eater motor powering a 12v DV generator. You would have to have something like a car alternator to produce the amount of amps/volts. But there may be a 12v gen out there that will work. Bet there's a video on here (RUclips) somewhere.
Forgot to thank you for your service to our country. Thank You!
Dave Dollars thanks!!! Come 01 October I'm officially retired from the Army after 23 years. No more playing Army it's time to go to work.

Any way of speeding up my dozer? Would a bigger sprocket with more teeth help

mine did that, especially with the mud! just have to keep the tracks free of dirt. Checking it out now
Heres a thought, is it possible to run a small gas motor to power a small generator which would power both windshield washer motors?

Thanks, my dozer runs off the powerwheels battery. Dies after 15 minutes. With the gas set up possibly be able to run a lot longer. Next dozer build
Dave Dollars wow, mine will run for at least a hour. I get tired almost before it dies
I'll make a video of mine this weekend. Not as nice as yours
Dave Dollars definitely looking forwards to seeing it!
Do you know what rpm the motors are? or ratio?
Daniel Dufour they are 116rpm. This is the motor info. AME 218-series 12V 212 in-lb LH gearmotor - long shaft
I got them at robot marketplace
