You’ve basically got it with the lore. BF gets into a majority of his rap battles with either GF’s parents or people they’ve hired to kill him. They really do not like him even though him and GF have a very loving relationship.
You should watch Spooky Month, it's a series created by Sr Pelo. It's really good.

The gunman is named Pico. He's from an older Newgrounds game called Pico's School, and according to the FNF lore, him and BF used to date, hence why BF said Pico was "blowing on his pole". So it wasn't just about the money for Pico in this case, man was just jealous that BF found someone else lol
We need a part two of boyfriend and pico and maybe even one with girlfriend and pico fighting over bf later in the lore and bf in the middle of it
Fun fact: boyfriend can talk he just make boop sound's so he doesn't have to talk to people.

An interesting detail is that when he battled against the Spooky Kids, BF didn't say any curse words to them. It's shows that while he is quite the punk, he has some self-restraint to not diss children.

so in week 2, those are kids the skeleton one is skid and the other one is called pump and basically they love scary stuff and they always think it’s spooky month / Halloween. so yea hope this information helped

I think you should watch Spooky Month there is 6 Episodes Episodes 1-3 are kinda short with Episode 3 being longest out of those 3 at 10mins but episodes 4-6 are 20-30 mins long but the Series is really good you should check it out
Also for the story For the base fnf Game and most likely this mod Week 2 comes after week 4 after the battle with mommy mearest (Gf's Mom) which on halloween Gf's Family in a Very spooky manor thing (Could be their house i dont remember) They giving out candy when Skid And Pump show up who are friends with Gf and her family come in and Bf rap battles them normally there is a 3rd song in week 2 but they didnt add it in to this mod yet where The Monster (Or what the Community calls them THE LEMON DEMON) shows up and he the only one out of the whole base game who SINGS REAL LYRICS and then bf rap battles The Lemon Demon and its all that is it

fnf weeks are a bit complicated, canonically, week 2 comes first. Skid and Pump are simply kids in costume. Week 4 with the Mom comes 2nd.
