Turtle tank is only useful against small drone. Large drone and multiple drone strikes can still easily destroy it. This construction also limits the mobility and turret movement of the tank. So it is only useful as armoured carrier and clearing the mines.

Everyone thought the new strategy of making the tanks slower using extra armor was a good idea, they just found out.
