Poets of the Fall is one of those bands that actually sound even better live. Marko has amazing tone in his voice and incredible voice control. I'm a "metal head", but I must say my favorite song of 2020 was the acoustic version of Angel by Poets of the Fall. (Alexandre Theatre Sessions) Goosebumps every time.... You should check that one out. Oh and btw its kinda funny that two of my favorite finnish singers are both named Marko. (Marko Hietala and Marko Saaresto)

Why have you not heard of this song/band, before? Because, like me, you have been gallivanting around listening to much more mainstream material, and missed this band entirely. And at such a loss--considering how incredible they have been. Marko is seriously invested in his music and puts his all into every performance. Their live performances are glorious to watch, and listen to.

It's called The Alexander Theater Sessions...12 songs, one each month. I recommend False Kings, Jealous Gods, The Sweet Escape, Lift, and War...but you pretty much can't go wrong with any of them!!

Movie of highchool kids going to a train museum of some sort and its like the bus crashes and tgey go into a carnival that appears outta nowhere and jack is a black eyed humanoid figure trying to kill them. In my opinion its a very underated movie.

the best advice I could give you if you want to hear his lyrical capability is to just listen to the entire Alexander theater sessions album. Words cannot describe how absolutely amazing and wonderful that entire album is and the order of the songs is perfect. I've been in recovery from drug addiction for 14 months now I've been listening to Poets of the Fall since Laker by came out back in the early 2000s 2003 somewhere in that area.. and I got to say their music hasn't just helped me in my addiction or I should say my recovery from my addiction.. even before that it's just raw powerful emotional and.. how I don't even know. Check out the Alexander theater Sessions album in it's entirety... You're very well may be some of the most beautiful vocals and music you ever listen to. Music is life.
I can't be the only one that hates when reactors pause the music right before the chorus (or anywhere). It completely breaks up the flow of the song. Just listen to it through and comment at the end. It's a much nicer experience for yourself when you don't break up the flow in the music, especially the first time you hear it 👍
