To be fair, if you applied make up directly on top of facial hair and attempted to cover it it probably wouldn't work out too well. You gotta work around the facial hair.

Honestly, this is one of the most wholesome trends I've seen in a long time. I love the challenge to "traditional" masculinity also, the women in their comment sections have just been falling over themselves to help them perfect their looks. My only regret is that I never got into make up due to sensory issues so I have no advice to give them, I can only cheer them on from the sidelines.
I just hope they’ll challenge the things that actually cause us trouble while they’re at it!! Means nothing when men wear makeup if they’re still aggressive and refuse to do their share of domestic work. Hopefully it’s a step in the right direction 😊
@@EmL-kg5gn I know the first guy has been super respectful and listened to all the advice. He pops up from time to time on my FYP and he tends to call other men out for their bad behavior.
But yes I hope it spreads and it is a step in the right direction because there's a lot of guys who expect women to do all of that make up stuff, housework, childcare, cooking, AND still look perfect all through the day, which is just impossible unless you have hired help.

Yes!!!!! Side note, after speaking to someone newly transitioning, I understand unwanted hair can be a real pain in the butt. I personally have an at-home laser hair remover by Braun and I cannot recommend it enough! It's not terribly priced and is well worth the investment! Just make sure you use it consistently once a week, and it makes hair much more fine and slow growing. Sending all the best to you both!
Coincidentally I'm a guy who since this months just started to play around with make up, and watching this channel really helps a ton! I'd been watching make up videos for a couple years and this months finally decided to say "fuck it it's pride month, let's do something fun". And it truly is a lot of fun

It was so nice to see these men give it a shot and not degrade it at all. They seemed really sincere. I grew up in rural US farm towns, and there is so much toxic masculinity in those communities, so it was wholesome seeing country boys give something typically seen as more feminine a try.
As someone living in the southern US, I RAN here 🏃🏻♀️ I didn’t know this was a trend

I’m just impressed dude can even get that eyeliner that close to his eye. The hardest part for my bf about doing makeup is he’s super squeamish about things touching his eye.
My husband is the same way. He asked me to do his Goth guyliner a couple times a year and he just blinks and pulls his head away. We had to settle for a shadow stick smudged rather than the pencils or pens.
My son just uses one of those large kajal liner crayons and lets it smudge naturally throughout the day.
The first guy has "similar" (i use that word very loosely) eyeshadow style as Roberts, if you bought a version of him from wish. 😂

Sounds like my first eye ‘look’ when I was 12 in the 80s! Blue cream eyeshadow, blue mascara, blue eyeliner 🤣 with frosted pale pink lips! Luckily my mum knows how to do makeup well, and she put me right (although she bought me the makeup in the first place lol)

Only halfway through the first guy but my golly bless his little heart! He deserves big props for even being willing to attempt putting on makeup and is just adorable. Omg! I clocked the second guy having "bedroom" eyes. He would slay with a 1920s vamp color story. The first guy had very pretty eye color and skin. They both had great skin. They were learning and having fun. Makeup is for everyone. I love this energy. ❤

Seeing this makes me appreciate all the bits of knowledge I was given from the women in my life while I was growing up♥️ I can imagine this would be intimidating to try for the first time as an adult, especially if you grew up in a culture where you were specifically discouraged from any activity viewed as “feminine” (I’m from Tennessee, so I know this is probably the case for these guys). I’m glad we’ve reached a point in society where this can be fun instead of shocking and taboo. Makeup is a form of expression, and everyone deserves to dabble if they want to💕
