Unfortunately, it sounds like they may have patched this :( Now the sand breaks when it hits the cobwebs. This will still work in slightly older versions though!

Tip: to make it un noticable make a quicksand and make the quicksand randomly to make it unnoticeable don't make a quick sand in just one place
You can also make it a abstract shape to make it look natural. Or you could cover the entire area in quicksand so you don’t have regular sand to compare with.

For those wondering the reason the quicksand is darker isn't a "hint" that mojang is gonna add quicksand it's just that falling sand has a darker tone and since the sand is kinda falling it has that color which is why when making this the worst you could do is add torches

@@DaL4y No it’s only for Bedrock edition. It doesn’t work on Java edition but sooner or later an update will happen where Java and bedrock edition of Minecraft will be combine together.

Hello WhuGno, you may not read this but i have a question. Is this trap counterable with water? Since the water will wipe the web. And do i have to reset the trap after every once in a while

I did the steps and I made sure there was no bugs, it was working fine until it broke, hell I even made a different version of my previous build but it was no use so your using a previous version of minecraft or on ps4 or 5.

The drowns will float but it will be harder to parkour because T R I D E N T
This would be a good tutorial if it worked on pocket edition if it does work on your pocket edition then something is wrong with mine because the sand just breaks when it goes into the cobwebs
We now have white quicksand, called powder snow.
Last time I made quick sand i used shipped box sand and cob webs

Do a manhunt with the sand
This is a cool trick for builds but won’t be any good in manhunts. You’re going to need cobwebs, which will require you to find a mineshaft, abandoned village, or other things, and not only are you going to need a ton of them if you want to even make a decently sized trap, you’ll also need silk touch or shears to get them. Then you’ll also need soul sand from the nether, which will also take time to find and get a bunch of. The water isn’t too difficult to get, but you still have to place all the soul sand, all the water, all the cobwebs, and all the sand, which you’re then going to have to break. All this will have to be done in the over world and without the hunters noticing you build this entire trap. The only times I’ve seen the hunters not bother Dream for a very long time are when they are camping the end or end portal, which will make this trap useless as they don’t want to follow you.

@@WhoGnu you’re underestimating the hunters, the difference in shade of the normal sand and quicksand is pretty noticeable, and it’s pretty unlikely that they’re going to give Dream the half hour he needs to obtain and set up this trap
