If we forget about the stories and generalize a bit, it looks like a fresh variation of 7 wonders to me. Simple, thematic but still competitive and enjoyable.
Nice preview and critique of the prototype of the game. I backed Old World and appreciate how that game makes you feel like a Witcher adventuring around. I was close to backing this one for the story aspect, but held off. I definitely appreciate the story aspect and how you guide the story as your character, but the gameplay definitely feels a bit detached. I held off backing for now, but you never know.

Great to hear I could be of some help :> Yeah, I felt similar about these two. I see the potential of the new one, but just different target.
