Why 4 Years Degree
1. Alignment with Global Standards: Many countries, especially in the West, offer four-year undergraduate programs that provide students with a broader and more comprehensive education.
2.Skill Development: Longer programs can allow for more in-depth skill development and specialization. This can be particularly relevant in fields like technology, where the pace of change is rapid, and students may benefit from additional coursework and practical training. As per the proposal 8 credit we are allocation to learn skill acquisition.
3.Research Opportunities: Extending the duration of undergraduate programs can provide students with more time to engage in research and project work, which can be beneficial for those planning to pursue advanced degrees or careers in research and development. It will create research aptitude and orientation to degree students.
4. Employability(Adaptation to Changing Job Market): Some proponents of four-year programs argue that graduates may be more competitive in the job market with a more extended and diverse educational background. It can also allow for additional internship or co-op opportunities. The job market is evolving rapidly, and employers are often seeking candidates with a broader skill set. Longer undergraduate programs can better prepare students for these changing job market demands. Shelf life of a skill is shortening. Today if you learn a skill will be obsolete after two to three years then you have to re-learn.
