She's my favorite female singer in Korea . She's only. 25 big future in front of her.
She just turned 25 in January. She is arguably one of the best vocalists ever based on her age. Her vocal range, breath/vocal control, and vocal emotive are already master class. Most of the "legendary" singers you can think of were nowhere as good as HYNN is when they were 25. She will only get better as she ages as long as she is able to take care of her health/vocal chords.
There aren't any singers that can sing HYNN's songs, that's why they don't really try. They either have to sing in a lower register or they just expose themselves for struggling with breath control being able to sustain the highest of notes. Check out this compilation video of K-pop idols trying to cover her song, you can easily tell the difference and/or how they struggle:

Two things, first, someone said she turned 25 in January. That is true and maybe not so true. Everybody's age in South Korea goes up on January first. God only knows what goes on in North Korea. So you may have been born in May, but according to the law your birthday is January first. The second, is the story she told a radio show. They said your parents must be proud that you are making an album. Hynn said, 'My mom is worried how well it will do when her daughter has such an ordinary voice?' It's nice to have supportive parents.
I first saw this young lady in 2017-18. A picture of her and some Korean writing with one English word 'Higher' I couldn't resist because she is beautiful and I wondered if this were a song I knew. This turned out to be her audition to the TV show SuperStar K a kind of Korean Got Talent. I watched and was impressed so I chased all her performances I could find and got wrapped up in the whole show. I followed Hynn and also Kim Young Geun and Lee JiEun, any of these could have won the show. I am giving you two links first to her audition and the second to her third song 'I Stand Up For You' which got to me and might touch your heart too.
Watch the judges at the end. Pretty good stuff. There are some other great singers and stories from this show. Like the winner who showed up for his 5th try and finally made it to the judges audition show. Not only did he make the big audition he went on to win the whole show.
