My campanieres don't get nutty when over ripe, they get more sweet. I wonder if your tree needs a little more maturing... Mine are also not as green when ripe. Mine are more yellow when ripe. Leaf pattern on this one is quite unique too. I love this fig. It's my mother in law's favorite out of my entire collection. In my top 5
