@@ashwinvarma9349 my fundamental question is , when some people come from other region to work or study or earn or spend in another region, they should atleast respect that area's culture, tradition, language etc.. We have one famous quote, Be like a Roman when you are in Rome. Why doesn't that implies in our circles. How can anyone tolerates the other person's domination over him/her or over one region's domination on another region. I don't have any hatred towards others, but have plenty of self respect towards my region, and I have more respect towards the one who loves their religion and culture. If tamil, telugu or any southern language is made compulsory for entire nation as one common language, even the north would learn it happily. Mark my words that they wont mind. I'm a kannadiga , i stayed in delhi for a year. I took upsc coaching there. So I have friends from all the parts the parts of the country. We people speak hindi so fluently like them and if someone don't know then they'll try to learn. We never criticise them. One of my North Indian friend told me that you south Indian people don't have patriotism. I got angry very badly and i told him that there is India in south India. Many people tell South India toh alag h. You people eat only idli dosa. You people are black. And of course exceptions are everywhere there are many good friends of mine who likes south India a lot because of our politeness, our respect for girls the way we treat them. They just love south Indians. What i observed in delhi is among south Indians karnataka people learn hindi very fastly and can talk very fluently. I too used to tell to my friends that adu kannad alla KANNADA. I feel happy to be an kannadiga. 😚

Nice video. Having born in brought up in Bengaluru in the 50's, and having all my ancestors lived and worked here, I feel sad that Kannadigas are being ill treated in their own state, by guys from other regions, just because of the fact we tolerate it without aggression. I am afraid that if we do not promote and encourage others to learn Kannada, possibly through legislation, we will be a minority in our own state. Kannada nadu namadendu, kannadagarige gudiendu - jai karnataka mathe.

@@VisibilityVideos can u take vedios, when it industries boomed, lot of fresh talents from karanataka moved or deputed to us and europe from local companies... and then the next wave of people, teenage boys, many high brain resource people opted for overseas ug , pg, ms studeis in us and settled there... there is a sad point, the parents of this boys and girls where left alone in their rich and middle class home during the precious carring and loved needed old age time.... bangalore is the garden city and the houses are build in tredtional heritage manner.... it was said many lands, big house where left abandoned or no one to claim...as the children migrated to us... now time has changed, IT industries are n the second generation .. 90 kids, 2000 kids... have starteed, social media boomed, many praised kirik keerthi now say he is wrong for protesting and shouting in from acenture company.. and take self vedios on mall without the permission of others and making other as bhakwas or ullu so that he can become one day mla cm of karnataka...
i guess people from other state respect languages... there are some hyper head may speak silly on other people mother tongue...
one thing we should not forget, that geneue people are living in bangalore from other state due to work nature or study.... give, rent , advance for staying in house to locals, local owner of land of the soil, student pay money to colledge admission, exam, sports , canteen, room rent etc, out state people pay eb bill, buy groceserys, furniture, electronic equipment tv , mobile phone, gst, tax is paid, k government get money from this sources.. local formers, merchands are getting benifits, tea shop getting benifited, hair cut shop getting benifited, they bring there family to bangalore for weekend visit.. auto drivers of bangalore loot 500 to 1000 rs in night to drop at their home the orignal amount would 100 to 150 rupees only...they earn the lot, now ola, uber has come, but if internet roaming is not enabled, . then again they no other option for auto driver, the looting continue... this is the fact and one cannot deny... and these outsideers people are talents, high scores in college work in banagalore.. so their brian is used for the company , and company get profit via this talents.... there are dark head even in their own state...

A good message indeed. This was shared by my Kannadiga friend who made me think from his point of view. I particularly liked the part where the lady gave a hard hitting message about how you guys give space & freedom to practice one's own culture and customs, no matter where they come from.
Being a Tamil living & working in Bengaluru, I was deeply pained by the recent developments on both sides. Why can't we just sit across the table & talk things out amongst ourselves? What would we gain by bandh-s & violence?
I earnestly request you to send a powerful message via this medium to those trouble makers (on both sides) that targeted violence, loot & arson will not solve anything. I sincerely feel there's more that unites us than some things that separates us. Sadly, some people forget this & get carried away by mob frenzy.

I am born and brought up from the great Sandalwood state of Karnataka - the city of Bengaluru, living in US for over 20 years.
The Bengaluru I grew up (Pre 1975 and now none of these exist):
-Having over forty natural lakes
-Circles with water fountain and color lights
-ample parks, and streets with lot of trees
-Pleasent weather we never used A/C
-Birds chirpping and mist was welcoming each morning
-Organic food was ample
-Kindest people with openess and innocence
- peaceful and a safe place to live without crimes
- ample water, electricity
- no mosquitos
- no pollution
- no traffic congestion
- highly educated and knowledgable population
- large kannada speaking people nevertheless welcomed outsiders to come and stay
People all over the world continue to pour into this awesome city and some if not many, outrightly refuse learning Kannada. Those who refuse to learn Kannada you are all losing something valuable in life.
One should adapt to the local culture, respect the local custom, learn the local language which ever becomes their new home.
In New Jersey, USA our local kannada koota brindavana.org is striving hard to promote kannada & our culture to the kids born and brought up in US. It is amazing how our local kids in this place are so fluent in kannada and know a lot about our culture and heritage.

We as Kannadigas speak Hindi just so that the people from the Northern Part Of India feel comfortable.
But why is that when we go to the Northern Half of India, we aren't being replied in Kannada.
Where's the equality?
I believe we should stop being so good for our own good & start using Kannada with everyone.
Until the Northern Half of India speaks just enough Kannada as we speak Hindi.
