i am most grateful to Mr. Walsh for presenting the information about the knowledge of higher mind. it is always a pleasure to listen to someone with such a thorough knowledge of the subject matter. i am not as well versed as Mr. Walsh, and my attempts to find out what is at work in this realm of experience was null and void for the first 25 years of my life. thanks to the internet, we are now able to find speakers from all over the world on this type of experience. however. i am often left with "blind spots" which will not allow me to feel completely comfortable with my orientation to this type of experience. most recently, in the past few years, ( i am 69 years of age now ) it has become more clear to me (IT SEEMS, OR APPEARS ) what keeps me from really understanding this experience, is the human experience at the time which brought these teachings about. how can i genuinely know life as they did, as predominately experience. there is no logic, reasoning may not exist either. there is only raw experience. what you do to survive is the only way you understand existence. maybe, if you are wise enough, you might begin to see your place in the scheme of things and rise to others levels of awareness of your environment and yourself/fellowman. in this sense, to be ignor-ant means to ignore your environment, your course of actions, and the resulting experience. as you participate and reflect, then you are creating a sensory feedback loop to propel your well being. growth and change are the only experience to behold. ... fast forward to the contemporary experience, where information trumps experience, or the emotional or mental posturing necessary to appreciate the fundamental notion of teachings relating to existence is no where to be found. the resultant is an exercise in systematically generating a vast and diversified range of individuals and experiences. a perfect environment for chaos and confusion. we don't live by the body of knowledge pertaining to nature and development of the human experience, but by opinion. i do not mean to be negative, but, only express the type of experience that is predominant. in fact, the more information we can generate about manipulative capacities, or range of various types of experiences, the more productive we feel we are. .... the human experience and context is not a static one, but that which governs experience, referring to the sensory capacities of the human being has not changed since these sanskrit teachings, or before, so what was true then is still true now. but, for me, to experientially posture Lao Tzu's PRIMAL VISION, or the buddhist teaching of MIND AS A MIRROR", is fundamental to connecting to the experience of awarness. at the same time it has also occurred to me that the Zen / buddhist teaching of " detachment" has become packaged as "scientific objectivity" which is intentionally without any "heart for experience", not recognizing the "fundamental nature" of the human being, which stands alone with the senses and consciousness, caring for the human experience, in the natural world within which the human being is acting, for all that i can manage to understand, detachment is akin to the notion of non-possessive or non-clinging. so, knowing yourself as of the "fabric of life", but not "clinging", you "stand" free and unencumbered, "straight and true" within it. in this way, ones experience of self awarness is aligned with heaven and earth. am i making the right connections for proper understanding of the subject matter?
Yes. if . you look closely enough you will see that the knower, the known and the knowing are all perceived but something more subtle. That "thing" is the ultimate knower which is beyond all duality.
You are the ultimate knower. But that knower is non-dual so it can't be known in the way we normally thing of knowing, that is an an object. Mooji calls this non-phenomenal recognition.

If I understood it correctly the use of the word knower implies a duality & objectivity. whereas knowing non-objective & non dual

i do not here the word knower use. I understand that knowing can only happen to a knower but i personally feel more comfortable with the word knower.
