My favorite parts of the Snapcube fandubs is when someone says something and someone else repeats it. For example, in thr Sa2 dub during the cutscene before the final Sonic vs. Shadow battle, the intercom says "Welcome to funland, Sonic." It then cuts to Shadow who says the same thing. I don't know why these moments make me laugh so much.

The closest the game gets to that is Lava Shelter and Black Comet’s opening cutscenes making Shadow stand in different locations depending on what level he just completed. The game instead opts for the idea that the GUN Commander’s story is the one Shadow believes as truth over Eggman’s lies. Shadow himself in the recap scenes after Iron Jungle have him doubt the validity of the statement, saying something along the lines of: “I’m… an android?! I don’t want to believe it, but to know for sure I need to get the remaining chaos emeralds!” Additionally, on top of the GUN Commander’s statement, Shadow directly asks Black Doom for the truth of his existence in the hero ending of Cosmic Fall, which he obliges. I like this level and this is tied for my favorite game ever, but I have a few complaints revolving around this level and it's storytelling. Egg Breaker. Right before that bossfight, Shadow is told that he is an android. If you were doing the Neutral Mission, this would be fine. But if you did either the hero or dark missions, all of the sudden that plot point is just completely out the window. But it gets worse. This level is fine if you were just going to Lava Shelter. But what's not fine is if you were going to Lava Shelter from another level. You either just saved the president or destroyed the Ark's defenses. How the hell does that cause Shadow to realize that he's an android?! Just how?! Eggman never told him. He never met the Shadow Androids. I can kinda understand how he'd know he was a copy of Shadow by doing the Space Gadget Dark Mission. But not if he did the Air Fleet Hero Mission! And he wouldn't know either way how Eggman was responsible for his recreation!
@@Cyanmartinez the sequence of events leading to Shadow thinking he is a android makes no sense.
