    Nice graphics. I wish they could engineer a way to recover the silt before it shoots into the Gulf. Louisiana is sinking pretty fast.

    The map graphic several times shows the Tennessee-Tombigbee waterway going through Jackson, MS to New Orleans. It runs to Mobile!
    Edit: what I thought was a river on the graphic was the watershed boundary.

      The Tenn-Tom isn’t depicted in this product. It is not a part of the MR&T Project. The river system depicted in Mississippi is the Yazoo River.

    One more reason for a strong federal government. States acting on their own behalf could never have accomplished what the Corps of Engineers has done.

    The Corp will never gain dominance over water. It will win when it wants & cause even more damage than when it was wild. Just saying !!

    You can tame the mighty miss but you can’t build a wall to keep enemies out , thanks our wonderful US ARMY . When you go vote this nov, ask yourself, you feel safer today than 4 yrs ago?
