    Great teaching. Thanks. In this problem, the 2 i2 current source must be directed the other way since i2 is negative. So, 2(-8)=16A of current MUST flow down instead of up as shown. That will fit perfectly ok with i4 + 16A =26 and then, by the lower lead of the 40ohm resistor, this node will give 26A + i1 = 26 -7 = 19 which work perfectly with the 19A current source.

    sir please let me know if we have current dependent source replaced with voltage dependent source in your given circuit than we don't know voltage across it and it also doesn't cancel how to solve it. Its in my University Assignment question

    Why don't you consider the voltage across the current source? Shouldn't it be something like 'Va = 40(ia-ic)' ?

      +hafsa ahmed I dont know what exactly book this professor has been taken but you can find several similar examples on books like basic engineering circuit analysis, J. David Irwin.
