The good thing is that real hip hop is like reggae, it lasts forever. Turn the volume up and solidify the volume knob. If its too loud, u r too old or too young...

@@hectormugwump5530 You spam the same comment over and over again. Shut up.
I was 18 when this came out living in Sinaloa mex. This album gave me hope on hiphop since everyone was goin too commercial and less artistic. This album gave balance to the rap-game
no you weren't. no it didn't
I remeber this year I was 14,you are wright, those year was fully of commercial rap and rawkus give some freshness to hip hop, peace
Realest from rawkus. It was just for hip hop fans
i was 19 Long Island
Proper album. Only slightly ruined by Evil D self promo hype tourettes.
Who remembers the time when you had to order Rawkus singles and merchandise buying their records and using the mail-in form?
Alluviale Daempfer Sandbox!
Directly from the records! But yes I remember Sandbox Automatic, they wouldn't ship to where I used to live so I had to wait till Rawkus opened a UK office
Alluviale Daempfer and this cassette was 25$ Canadian back than!
Was worth every penny though

Such a classic 97 was a great year!!!
no it isn't. no it wasn't
97 was a good year for hip hip. Co flow is still a staple for me. And Mos Def...the best hip hop is underrated.
KRS ONE VS JUICE
2024, AND EVERYTHING ON THIS MIX IS CRAZY RELEVANT..... SALUTE TO THE ONE AND ONLY "EVIL DEE"!!!!!!!
The sickest intro of all time.
Raw as F@[K. Any party startin' like that get people mad. El-p and scaramanga make all around you ill. Dj Chris crossfader cutted heads off . God bless undeground
I was always a huge hip hop head but This album along with New York reality check 101 mixed by preemo completely got me addicted to indie hip hop from about 97-2003.
You nailed it. NY Reality Check & this was the beginning of a whole new way of seeing

What a legendary album 🔥 There I was in my early adult years back in Poland in the 90's listening to this on a CD! I still have goosebumps listening to this album now! Nothing these days comes even close to this! And let's not forget about Sounbombing II ! These albums were so legendary that even underground hip-hop fiends like myself in Poland knew about these
up to Soundbombing 2 EVERYTHING Rawkus dropped was the biz. The Soundbombing cd's were gold for us in Europe.
Legendary albums for sure. Munich/ger here.
R.A Rugged Man what a mad verse.

I’m happy to say I met DJ Evil Dee! Super nice guy!!
This album is classic!

The Fire In Which You Burn - Company Flow/ Indelible Flow. My favorite song that has Big Jus killing the beat, on the strength! He made the beat his concubine. I can put that track repeat and chill for a long time. I was a drummer in school and that beat is genius to my ears. Peace
No it's not. no he didn't.
Can't believe I'm this listening to this in 2022!!! Classic!!!!
I’m English and don’t live the life these black men did. But I love their art. Bloody amazing. Love the beats. We sample then and make jungle or dnb from then here.

This the shit that needs to be drop again like it's new never heard shit, dope man in the house
Is your weed better?
Yeah, and considering how little the kids of today actually pay attention to the classics when hip hop was truly thriving (remember when every Tuesday had fucking bangers getting released it was nothing?!), you could probably drop this exact album to them and say it was brand new and they'd have no idea. Maybe that would be worth it.... "Evil Dee, who?! Man, I gotta check this new shit out!" Some kids starts actually giving a damn about the art behind lyricism and beat production from DITC-ing and perhaps a hip hop revival is on our hands. No, hip hop is not dead. It's alive and well in the underground (where it has ALWAYS thrived), but I know that I definitely wouldn't mind if more younger generation kids had access to the true and beautiful stuff and that spawned some kind of renaissance in the industry.
we expose them, jamin Jidenna- classic man
