This is incredible but there is no way to tell what screens you sell come with the flex. I ordered some 13 lcds and they came with it, but the 13 soft oled that says ic transfer compatible did not. Furthermore you do not sell the flex separately on the site which would be ideal
I have so many questions.... Does the chip flex come with the screens? Which screens? LCD or the OLEDs? If you have to swap the chip why does the R200 exist and support 12s and 13s? Do you have to do both?
still closes fine and as to your question, not really no. If you've ever removed the ic you'd find that it is quite tricky to do without issue. The most practical way to do it without this method would be to carefully grind the chip down to its pads without damaging anything so that you can solder the chip to it which also presents a risk of damaging the display with the amount of heat it takes to solder the chip. In short being able to do 99% of the soldering off the screen makes a world of difference and not having to worry about the chip is amazing.
So Derek I was able to do this on an 11 pro Max using a mobile sentrix replacement lcd. I was successful but ran into a couple speed bumps. What temperature would you recommend to remove the oem ic, and on the replacement screen after I remove the touch ic there is alot of glue on the flex where the ic was, do you recommend a specific solvent?
Welcome to Apple's locked parts policy/scam. The mere fact that you have to do this craziness just to replace a screen and other parts, is the #1 reason I would never use an iPhone, period. smh
What was the temperature and airflow ?
Awesom work, what temps did you use?

Hello, what temperatures did you use?

I can’t wait to do this. Will this be an option on other series like the 12?
Hopefully every model than needs it will eventually have something like this
When I tried to install the screen the ic was putting too much pressure and creating pressure point on the screen how do I avoid the in the future?
Isn’t re-balling the Chip providing the same result? Tag on flex usually create space issues. Does the phone close properly?

@@MobileSentrix less heat on the screen is a factor. Cant Disagree.
do you know if transferring the second chip ( the thin long one - next to the chip you just worked on) serves any purpose? or is it not necessary?
I believe that holds ture tone data
