During a large family trip last June, there was huge rain storm that was keeping us in our rooms. I made the spur of the moment decision to go to splitsville and our entire party had a blast. Ages 2-65, very single one of us had a great meal and the bowling was awesome. It was such a pleasant surprise. Boma for sure got shafted. My husband and I went for the first time for dinner early in our trip and liked it so much we immediately made a reservation for breakfast later in the week. Also, it's pricey, but we rented a pontoon to watch the fireworks at MK from The water. It was hands-down the coolest thing I've ever done in disney. Novel over. Great show!
I like your honesty: if it's good it's good, if it's not it's not. I don't like those who think that everything that the Disney Co. touches is gold, because its simply not true.
Haunted Mansion is my all time favorite attraction. I think its more because of the history behind it, Walt's involvement, and the mystery and stories behind it.
I would like to see this updated!! With how some prices went up, some rides disappeared, with one park basically closed down... it would be interesting to see the difference.
Great show! We just came back from our first trip. Our favorite ride at MK was Haunted Mansion, at HS Toy Story, and at Epcot Spaceship Earth. We didn't get to AK this trip but that just means we have to go again. We went to Splittsville in DTD and had a great meal. The bowling was a bonus. Be Our Guest for dinner was very good.
MK: Pirates,, People Mover (Tony's is actually wonderful now, much improved, and Pecos Bills for Quick) EPCOT: Soarin', Spaceship Earth (Sunshine Seasons for sure is incredible value, and sit down I like Chefs d'France) HS: Rockin Rollercoaster, TOT (Brown Derby and Writer' Spot and also nut cart!!) AK: Nemo, EE (haven't eaten there) Agree, Landscape of Flavors is delish! Love the butter chicken! Love renting a little speed boat at Contemporary and driving over to stare at the castle.
MK haunted mansion, pirates, Crystal Palace (breakfast) Harbor House (lunch) 1980's King Stefan's (dinner) mint crepe (look it up) Studios Movie ride, tower of terror, Sci Fi (lunch) Epcot Spaceship earth, Horizons The Garden Grill (lunch) Mexico (dinner) AK Everest, Kali, Rainforest (lunch) Resort Port Orleans Boatwright's and sit after dinner and listen to Bob Jackson Downtown House of Blues
Hard to believe you spent 49 minutes discussing "must do's" at WDW without mentioning the Main Street Electrical Parade, which is at the top of my list. Also Reflections of Earth.
Shaun is right, a nice relaxing ride on the water can't be beat.
Seriously no RocknRoller Coaster you can't miss that!!

They need to bring back Mr Toad's wild ride, not the old one, but a new concept, new technologies for a dark ride.
Probably my favorite episode to-date. Heading to Disney in October for first time since 2007 and plan to view / listen to it again and take notes.

Love this segment. Please do more like this. :)
The one ride that I love and never miss is 'The great movie ride' on DHS and the animatronics on that one also need a refurbishment desperately ...
This was such an awesome episode! I loved it!!! Great idea to the person who suggested it.
I'm with Shaun...give me a nice, relaxing boat ride anytime! Great show!

I also love Boma just like Shaun (plus we have the same birthday). I'm not a stalker, I swear lol.
Liked this show! How about another one of these with non-park "must dos"-- your favorite local eats, activities etc?
I have been there many times but have yet rode the Dinosaur ride
Best restaurant in the parks is Via Napoli,in Italy in Epcot
What is wilderness explorers?
So agree that the great movie ride is outdated

Is Landscape of flavors at Art of Animation considered a quick service meal??
I agree with Sean, the food in EPCOT's Germany is not good German food.

it was attractions and dining. I don't think they included the parades just cuz they're already obligatory. idk
