    I love many elements of this mororhome. IMO is the best option in its price point. I would LOVE to have that back screen door! More motorhome should do this!

      It’s a great option on the rear door, especially for loading luggage- and it has awesome airflow !! If it’s nice weather- you can sleep with the back door open and it’s kind of like tent camping.

    I purchased a 2013 model similar to this one in 2018 for $36,000. It had 23,000 miles on it.
    Same motor and transmission. Power awning and living room slide out.
    I love it but it doesn’t quit fit in a regular parking spot unless I can back in and let the rear hang over a grassy area.

      I am also not understanding why all RVs seem to put the toilet next to the door when the sink would probably fit better there and you would have the elbow room of the empty shower.

    How do you actually turn on refrigerator

    • @TheBlockPartyRV
      @TheBlockPartyRV  9 месяцев назад

      The fridge is a two way fridge meaning it can either run on electricity - or - Propane when you are driving or boondocking (not hooked up to shore power). I usually leave it in the automatic mode where it just switches between electricity and propane on its own. So far it’s worked great - zero issues. Thanks for commenting !

    I like this floor plan. I’m still working and will need an office. This back space could be awesome! I like the lack of slides. Bathroom- sucks but I’d prefer a “composting toilet” so probably would switch it around where the sink is where the toilet is. I also like his curtain addition. This gave me some things to think about. Thanks.

      @TheBlockPartyRV  Год назад +1

      Good luck on your search for the right rig - the owner of this rig has had a few issues, the AC and fridge have both had to be replaced and both were out of warranty, so there is some truth to the lower level/cost rigs using poorer quality appliances. Thanks for commenting !

    How would someone manage use and storage of a ramp for a motorcycle? Thanks.

    • @TheBlockPartyRV
      @TheBlockPartyRV  9 месяцев назад

      I think it could be done, but a ramp of some type would need to be utilized to get the bike into the rig, the back door is pretty big though, so I thiink it might fit through the door.

    I purchase a 26ds 2022 with ford series450 about a year ago .
    The only good about this purchase was The ford truck the building itself is deteriorating ,falling apart as we speak, constant silicone to glue parts from falling apart,leaks from both shower n kitchen sink ,holes in both slides that according to Brittney at Ron Hoover in South Houston she also told me that if I held a water hose to the front shield she had no doubt water would come throw. Same as it does threw the holes in slide on the rv,biggest b's I've heard from a rv service mgs. Both the rear n front jacks had crossed wires did not worked,I asked salesman I wanted to see the jacks working the salesman said the tech was out this particular day. So on so forth I got more b's for later,I tell no lie

    Looking seriously into this rv. Those mods are fantastic & this video allows me to go forward eyes wide open. Question: does the outer back door (near bed) have a magnet to keep it open? I'm assuming yes. TIA for any info!

    • @TheBlockPartyRV
      @TheBlockPartyRV  2 года назад +1

      The rear door swings to the side and it just stays open when you open it, the other doors either fold down - or the rear kitchen door has a latch that holds it open. I should be posting a follow up video to this one fairly soon, and it answers a lot of the viewer questions from this video. Thanks for watching

    Great review, any chance you can share the dimensions of the cargo area with the bed raised?

    • @TheBlockPartyRV
      @TheBlockPartyRV  2 года назад

      The cargo area is accessible from the back and it is 22 wide x 25.5 tall x 54” deep. There is no storage under the bed, the outdoor kitchen is under the left half of the bed and the rear storage is under the other half of the bed. I will be going over this in detail in my next video. Thanks for watching !

    I like the soundproofing of the cab. I have a 22b chateau and it’s quite noisy. Where did you get the acoustic curtain? Thanks for sharing.

    • @TheBlockPartyRV
      @TheBlockPartyRV  2 года назад +2

      Brad the owner of the rig made the sound deadening thermal curtains himself. He took two drapes and inbetween he glued in sections/ 6” wide strips of thin 1/4” insulating foam. He just hung it with a curtain rod. The difference “before and after” was dramatically different in both sound as well as keeping the cab cool - and it darkened the cab at night as well. Trifecta idea - I told him to patent and start making them for retail distribution ! Thanks for watching !!

    Hi there, thanks again for a great review!
    One other question: Some rvs have a furnace that runs on propane and is almost like a miniature wall furnace in a house. I would expect to see this installed in an exterior wall so that the exhaust vents to the outside but the heated forced air blows inside the living space. Does this rv have such a furnace? This is not the air conditioner on top of the rv.
    I would use such a furnace for winter camping if it was there.

    • @TheBlockPartyRV
      @TheBlockPartyRV  2 года назад +1

      It does have a furnace that runs off propane, the vents are near the floor. Shore power is not needed to run it, it can run off if the 12 volt house batteries for a few days.

    • @TheBlockPartyRV
      @TheBlockPartyRV  2 года назад

      It does have a propane furnace, it has vents near the floor that are in the cabinets, and it blows hot - you can get the rig toasty in just a few minutes time. This is a true well insulated 4 season rig that has heater tanks so you can use it in sub freezing conditions. I’ll check the vent location and post it in an upcoming video. Thanks for watching !

    you don't need a outdoor shower if you use a 2 way after the pressure reduction valve . The best feature is you don't have to winterize the 2 way or drill a hole in your camper

      Ive ridden in the rig probably 1000 miles, and it drives fine out of the box, it being such a small rig I don’t think an upgraded sway bar or shocks are needed. We pulled an 17’ bass boat with no issues as well.

    Can’t say I’m a fan of the battery system….believes it to be lead acid, so power would be an issue (most parks only allow a generator for a few hours a day and generators are simply too loud) but you can likely upgrade to AGMs or lithiums for a few thousand dollars. Otherwise impressed with the value. There is a lot to be said for keeping things simple! Like the rear door!

    This is my problem with rvs: bathrooms. Why are they always so cramped? There's more than enough space for a full size bathroom (with tub) as we've seen with rv renos & tiny houses. YET companies continuously make the bathrooms absurdly small. The position of the toilet is the worst! No human should have to squeeze into a spot to do their business.

    • @TheBlockPartyRV
      @TheBlockPartyRV  2 года назад

      Agreed, the toilet and the sink MUST switch positions for the bathroom to be functional in this unit. You have to go to the restroom with the door open - no option. My personal Motorhome is an Entegra 25R and I am a very very big guy and I fit in the shower and use the toilet no problem. There are some rigs with decent bathrooms, but they are not the norm by any stretch. Thanks for watching.

      He bought it at the beginning of Covid and before Motorhome prices jumped radically due to recent supply chain issues and inflation. I bought my motorhome for $89,500 in 21 and have recently had offers for it for $100,000 and the unit is 2.5 years old ! That’s how bad inflation is right now.

      It for sure is not as well insulated and a 4 season Motorhome like our Entegra, and you can see some of the workmanship is not that good - and they used some lower grade materials and cut a few corners, but all that said - we have used it hard, ran the generator about 18 hours a day, took it on back dirt roads, and it really held up fine. And most importantly - we had a real good time. If this was the only unit I could afford, I would not hesitate to buy one. Thanks for the comments, it is appreciated - and happy Camping !!
