I began using Ultra in 1994/95. First machine lasted me 15 years , became a little slow ,bought my next Ultra in 2011,still going strong except for the electronic start button. Going to buy this model ,this week . I am sure it will also last me another 15 years , which means probably till the end of my life! I only wish younhad given the same purple border for this model too instead of red.
We are still using the first model of Ultra wet grinder that we bought more than 20 uesrs ago, they are the best. Will buy this as a new one if at all of the old one goes bad, but touch wood it should not.
We are using ULTRA grinder from 14 years it's perfect till now. I can buy this grinder in future. This design is space saver and so convenient.

Good features
Batter is watery. For medhu vada and cutlet , very little water has to be added but here first one cup water has to added before adding any item

Recently I bought this model. Very nice .grinding time very less only 35 minutes for 1.25kg rice and 250gm dal .I am very happy .cleaning also easy .stone less weight. Very fast grinding .sound only little high because of rpm .that no problem

It's getting slightly heated up in case of rice. Any suggestions? As a result idli isn't as good
Add ice water and ice cubes
Don't screw more, but put screw slightly tight by twisting not more than 2 rounds for a very smooth batter. Generally one round will be enough for smooth running without heat.

Does anybody know the price of this grinder? I am seeing that a lot of people have asked this question a long time ago but the Ultra guys have not bothered to answer this question. Since they have very conveniently ignored to answer, maybe this is too costly and not value for money. Bur still, if in the meantime any of you have purchased the same, kindly reveal the price and how you find it.

Its only suit for two people only.. I am using past 10month..i am grinding 1kg250gram rice for first 20min and it getting heat on 15th minites itself.. Uriad dhall not grinding properly.. And when I got this product first grinding itself the white ring with stone attachment was broken.. Now second time also getting crack.. Now I want change this grinder any option is there..
