It's very cool that Endor Luke has that removable belt with the holster that can actually hold the blaster. It's a common thing on modern figures now, but it was unusual back in the 80's for Star Wars figures. I used to make my own ways for figures to wear their accessories by twistie tying the acessory to their waist or leg or across their chest like a bandolier with the black twistie ties that came on things. I lost the belt to my Endor Luke long, long ago. Now, he as to make do with a black twistie tie for a belt. He's still cool though. I like putting him on the Speederbike. When the Power of the Force 2 line came out, I got a second Speederbike to go with the original one that I got as a kid. That way I can have a Biker Scout on one of them and Endor Luke on the other. Looks neat!
The A-Wing Pilot is pretty neat! One of the more unique looking pilots. Nice that he has the extra detail on his chest and his suit is a neat green color. It was cool how the pilots of different ships had different uniforms. Never had an A-Wing ship or pilot, but I always liked them. The A-Wing was fun to fly in the X-Wing and TIE Fighter flight simulator PC games. Very fast and powerful.
Amanaman is one of those in the background aliens who are easy to miss when you are watching the movies. He's really unique among a huge variety of unique aliens in Star Wars. For some reason, I never got on as a kid and don't remember wanting one back in the day. I remember thinking his name was funny because Amana used to be one of the major manufacturers of appliances when we were kids, so I remember thinking he was like this head-hunting caterpillar who somehow worked for Amana. Maybe taking out the competition or something. I think he's kinda cool now and I appreciate how different he is from your standard action figure, but man are they expensive if you see one on sale. Cool that you have a complete one with the funky, scary staff. It's some weird almost Indiana Jones level creepy stuff going on here with that staff.
Yeah, Yak Face was one of those figures that we never saw as kids here in the States. Weird that Kenner would do that and have figures that were exclusive to different regions. I'm sure that's why he's so rare and expensive now. I bet I would have asked for him as a kid though because he looks like Joe Camel from the old Camel cigarette ads. That would have cracked me up.
Beyond awesome that you got a box from the actor who played Yak Face in the movie!! Now, that's something even more cool than the action figure in a way. Autographed and everything! Even the stamps on the box are cool. Wear the Owners Club Badge with pride my friend! Looks a bit like a medal that the King of England might give to a soldier or something.
Cool to learn that Sean Crawford played Yak Face and a Mon Calamari officer. I didn't know that. Those cards are cool! I love the "217 pounds of trouble" line on Yak Face's card! :) Great to learn new things. That Las Vegas show card is very cool too. Love that he did the artwork on it and everything. I wish I could have gone to that show, but I was probably not feeling well at the time. You should totally get him on as a guest.
Yak Face, especially that box of awesome swag, is certainly the best of the box! Even the box needs to be displayed.
    Another great episode!

Hey there! Thanks a ton for the awesome and detailed comment! Your DIY twistie tie belt for Endor Luke is pure ingenuity - talk about resourceful playtime creativity! 🌟 The Speederbike setup with Biker Scout and Endor Luke sounds like a dream display.
A-Wing Pilot's unique green suit and the diverse uniforms across different ships are a nod to the rich Star Wars universe. And your A-Wing flight memories in the PC games? Epic!
Amanaman's "head-hunting caterpillar" scenario cracked me up! The Amana connection adds a hilarious twist. That funky, scary staff of his does bring some Indiana Jones vibes - the mysteries of the Star Wars galaxy!
Yak Face, the elusive figure, does have that Joe Camel resemblance - you've got an eye for quirky details! 😄 I posted your comments about Sean Crawford on his Yak Face Facebook page. You can check it out here: facebook.com/groups/yakface/ The Owners Club Badge does have that royal medal charm - show it off with pride, indeed!
And the revelation about Sean Crawford playing Yak Face and a Mon Calamari officer blew our minds too! His artistic touch on the Las Vegas show card is a gem. Getting him as a guest would be a dream - fingers crossed!
Totally agree, Yak Face and the swag-filled box are display-worthy treasures. Thanks a bunch for the fantastic feedback - we're thrilled you enjoyed the episode!

HEHE! No! We'll just go through what I've collected from the 70s and 80s! That being said, I do have a variety of things from the late 90s to mid-aughts that DB has never seen, we'll get to those too...eventually

I can't believe this run is almost finished, what a ride it's been. I always thought Yak Face was the final figure, however, it says you still have one more episode to go. Who's next?

Luke battle poncho should've come with a green lightsaber, and of course the helmet should've been removable.

Couldn't agree more one of the poorly designed figures. They expect you to buy Pop-Up R2D2 in order to get Luke's lightsaber
