Perhaps a stupid qeustion, I am using the Airspy HF+ the device works fine. When I use SdrSharp there is no problem, but when I follow the instructions in this video and start Virtual radar the bat file I am getting the error that the system could not find te Airspy device. Could you tell me what I can do to use the ADSB program? I have several other devices working with ADSB but this is just a nice gadget. Sorry for the bad English and gramma. Theo
I got exactly the same problem when I tried to instal it. It stopped at the black screen and did not work. I tried it on both a Windows 11 and a Windows 10 pc and it did not work on either. I could not find out the answer as to what to do, but hope this guy answers you so that I can get it to work too. Best wishes...Mike.
I've got the same problem with mine. I'm using the latest Air supply downloads software and I made sure I have all the windows updates. SDR#, no problem. But for some reason the Airspy device is not being seen.
Hi Matt hope you are well i need your advice i got airspy running with virtual radar server all working well as you just know in the options there are filters i ticked military and enabled but nothing comes up is there something you can add on the comments step by step all i get is the map but no tracked military kindest regards paul
I would assume that your installation is not receiving any military aircraft at the time you are checking. Unless of course there is a bug in the software, but I doubt it. What's your reception range?
I get military and civil aircraft no problem the problem is under filters and select military I get nothing I got the part channel set to the one in our video are there different port channels any advice would be fab Paul
120$ is kinda expensive. You can get RTL-SDR usb sticks for around 15-20$ but inform yourself about which models are capable of receiving 1090mhz because not all are!
@@TobiasGeek It's not the case of I know everything better. If you put mHz then that is read as millihertz. If you put MHz it is read as megahertz. It's about being specific. If you asked me for four candles I would give you four wax rods that can make light. If you asked for fork handles I would give you wooden poles for attaching to garden implements.
Agree, but the reason for the Airspy ADSB application being created was so that Airspy users have an easy way to get tracking, no faffing around, it just works.
Your videos always help me on SD-aRRRRR things. Thank you.
Not sure where you heard that, but it 100% works with Win10
@@TechMindsOfficial Ya it was a libusb dll issue fixed it by watching the video thanks
funny how you received a royal Jordanian aircraft heading to my city (Amman). small world bro.
thank you for your great videos.
My pleasure
For sdrplay, sdruno comes with a ADSB plugin in newer releases!
SITLL got download the vertial radar server to make it work
The port number 47806 seems to be for London. How do you find other port numbers for other areas of the world?

@@wildwest100 Exactly the same problem for me too!
@@AlessandroBellucci Hi, it is really a pain and I wish the guy would answer the question so we can get it sorted out.

On Airspy's download page for "ADS-B SPY - ADSB decoder for Windows", it states "Airspy R0, R2 and Mini". Seems that the HF+ is not supported.

Great info! Thanks
Is there a way to use Flightradar24? If so, how?
Nice info Matt 👍👏👏
virtual radiar can work with more than airspy recivers
For the price... cheaper to get a Pi, an RTL-type dongle and install ADSB Exchange and just leave it running 24/7.
Easy isn’t always the cheapest option

Anything with with an 820/860 tuner is fine. Anything with an E4000 tuner shouldn't be used for ADS-B.
1090 MHz. There wouldn't be much to receive at 1090 millihertz.
@@sw6188 yes mr. I know everything better xdd

It seems a bit of a waste to use an expensive Airspy SDR when you can use a cheap rtl-sdr dongle and leave it running.
